Reason to Love

3. Days not so long

Soon our days became hectic with lots of assignment and project as our final exams are near. I have decided to get internship to get better practical access in Business administration because I had planned for a startup at my native where I can be with my parents as well handle my business. When I was discussing my plans with my friends, Yadav suggested his company for which his elder brother is CEO. At first I hesitated because I don"t want to get a chance due to recommendation but I wanted to put my complete effort to attain myself. But later he convinced me that its not a big deal and I will definitely get a good experience and told me that moreover he will be with me as he is joining his brother after college. Those words made me re-consider the opportunity.

Days were on marathon until final exams. I know that we have to isolate on our ways towards our future by taking the memories of these beautiful days of our college. Life is not going to be easy on us always from here, we have to struggle a lot to attain our own identity in this society, so just we have to prepare ourselves to face life at any consequences. As expected our final exams got over soon, and there was a party at night for all our batch-mates.

At night,

I was ready with my party outfit which was dark blue sleeveless top that reached my mid thigh and pant of same colour of my top that reached my ankle with gathering and a long black net full sleeve coat almost reaching to my knees. And fixed my makeup as simple as possible because generally I prefer simplicity and not much into makeup, and ready with matching black heels. Pallavi was more beautiful with her long simple and elegant red gown, unlike me she is much into makeup, fashion and those stuffs. In a short time we reached the venue where Yadav was waiting for us at the entrance, after a quick hi we entered inside.

The room was filled with our college mates enjoying their night with blasting music, dance and drinks. After long struggling through the crowd we spot a place for us and made comfortable.

"I don"t want these days to end this soon" whined Yadav like a kid. We chuckled at his expression.

"Then don"t go back, make yourselves comfortable here by backlogs" pallavi mocked him, suddenly his expression changed.

After watching his expression we burst into laughter.Wow....! his expression was priceless.

"look at your face buddy.Its really priceless" I commented. Soon he too joined us in laughing.

"God! I am really going to miss this" he told as a matter of fact to which we agreed.

"Ok ! I have a plan, we three of us can take a vacation for a week and can enjoy for the fullest before we return our home.What do you say?" he looked at us for our reply.

" Wow..darling I didn"t expect that you will use your brain to think like this something good" Pallavi exclaimed to which Yadav tightened his eyes towards her.

"The plan really sounds good" I agreed to him and I made a mental note to inform my parents about this. They are not typical parents to restrict me for such trips, moreover they very well know about my friends and never failed to give my space.

" Ok where to go?" Pallavi started to think with full enthusiasm.

After a small discussion we finalized Andaman and Nicobar islands and had a small chat on trip, Pallavi and Yadav headed to dance floor and I politely refused for dance. I was watching everyone from my place by sipping my soft drink I felt uncomfortable as if someone is watching me.

Guess what I was right. Varun was watching me intently at little distance from where I was sitting. I shifted myself in my place under his gaze which made me uneasy. I averted my gaze immediately from him towards dance floor where my friends were dancing so closely looking into each others eyes. Though I tried my best to avoid his presence, I can still feel his gaze on me from corner of my eyes. To avoid this uneasiness I decided to join few of my classmates who were chatting little away from my place. As I got up to go towards them a hand gripped my wrist suddenly, I turned towards the owner of the hand only to get shocked. Varun grabbed my hand and pulled me little away from the dance floor, all this happened before I can sort it out. Immediately wriggled my hand in order to remove my hand from his hold but to my bad luck his hold got tightened.

"Leave my hand, How dare you to pull me like this?" I shouted at him but due to heavy noise around nobody could hear my voice other than him.

" Why do you always avoid me?" He asked me coming more closer to me that I can smell alcohol in his voice. I didn"t reply because this closeness and the smell was disgusting.

" Do you know what, I don"t want your reply now because you had already told me that but I am not going to agree with it and behave like a gentleman as I am not such type." he told me without blinking his eyes. All the while I was just trying to free myself from his hold.

" I am not going to accept my defeat,if you had accepted my offer on the other day for a date I would have been easy on you but now you have no choice" saying that he gripped my both hands tighter that it definitely would have left a bruise there.

He started inch closer such that his alcoholic breth fanning on my face. That"s it I can"t allow him to take advantage on me. As I was making my last try to move away from him with all my force a sudden punch landed straight on his nose to which he left my hand immediately and balanced himself from falling down. When I turned to see Yadav fuming in anger along with pallavi, I sighed in relief.

"How dare you to force yourself on her? Stay away from her you bastard." saying that Yadav punched him again.
