Goose
The day didn’t go quite as planned. For one, I wasn’t able to make it back in time to take Lyssa to her class. Instead, I barely had enough time to pack a bag for her and send it with my mom. It wasn’t how I wanted the two to meet, but it was going to have to do, and all I could do was hope it went well, mainly because I didn’t have time to worry about anything else.
Sending Ray back to his dad in the condition we did should have gone one of two ways. One, they get the hint and leave town. Two, they call the cops, and we spend time being asked questions we didn’t answer before being released. Then again, we underestimate just how crazy the two actually were. A mistake we wouldn’t make a second time. I can only hope that if Lyssa ever finds out the two never actually left town, she won't hold it against me. For now though, the rest of the world will believe the two left on their own. To ensure this, my dad took the lead on clearing out their rooms, paying off the hotel staff, and arranging for their cars to be seen leaving town. This included ensuring Lyssa’s sister believed Ray had left her so that she wouldn’t ask questions later. In the meantime, I went along with Rooster and a few others, making sure the two bodies were far enough outside of town and buried deep enough that they wouldn’t be found. And in the off chance they were found, we made sure there would be only suspicions of who did it, rather than for sure evidence that would send any of us to prison.
All that was left was figuring out what I was going to say to Lyssa and hoping she didn’t push for more information. The less she knew, the better. Honestly, I could only hope she would believe that the two men had left town, and that was it. Arriving at the house, dark and Lyssa already in bed, had me breathing a sigh of relief. If she were already asleep, that would give me a little longer to figure out what to say. Taking my boots off and leaving them in the garage, I moved as quietly as I could. Shrugging my cut off and leaving it lying across the back of one of the dining room chairs. Not bothering with any of the lights as I continued to move through the house. Pausing for only a second just inside the bedroom, I could see Lyssa lying in bed, her breathing even as if she were asleep.
Moving even more carefully, I slipped into the bathroom, closing the door before turning the light on. I didn’t bother looking in the mirror. I knew I was covered in dirt, sweat, and more than likely some of their blood. The only thing I could be sure of was that the blood was dry by now, and the dirt would clean up off my floor just fine. As for my clothes, I will not be keeping them after tonight. They would not be going through the wash, but would be added to a burn pile that would be taken care of at the clubhouse the next day.
Turning the shower on, I removed my clothes, leaving them in a pile in the corner of the bathroom. Climbing into the shower, I was aware I wasn’t going to be alone in the bathroom much longer. To my disappointment, she didn’t join me in the shower, though I could feel her eyes on me as I scrubbed the day off me. Taking my time, I made sure I was completely clean before shutting off the water. Opening the shower door, I accepted the towel Lyssa held out for me. Using it to dry off a bit before wrapping it around my waist and stepping all the way out of the shower.
I was out of time to figure out what I was going to say. From the look on her face and the way she stood watching me with her arms folded in front of her, I knew she was upset. Then again, maybe I wasn’t, as I took a step in her direction, her eyes dropped from my face to my chest, down to the towel that was the only thing covering me, and the look on her face changed. I could see her heart rate increase as her pulse became visible in her neck. Taking advantage of her slight slip, I moved closer to her, grabbing her by her thighs and lifting her onto the counter behind her and spreading her legs just wide enough for me to stand between them. Pulling her close so she could feel how very little protection the towel and her underwear were between us. Leaving one hand on her hip, I dug my fingers in just a little, holding her to me. With my other hand, I tangled my fingers in her hair, tilting her head back, claiming her mouth with mine.
Her whole body responded to mine. Her legs wrap around my waist, pulling the two of us impossibly close. Her hands were moving over my chest and abs. Her lips are moving with mine. A moan from her caused my d**k to jump in excitement. The heated moment ended just as quickly as it started, with her hands moving to my chest and pushing rather than encouraging me closer. She broke our kiss by pulling her head back just enough to shake her head. Through her heavy breathing, she did her best to make herself sound as mad as she had looked only a minute ago.
“Distracting me from why I came in here isn’t going to work.”
