Lyssa Nearly running, I climbed into the passenger seat. “I am so happy it’s you picking me up.” Laughing, Emilia side-eyed me as she pulled away from the curb. “It’s only been a day, girl, you can’t have missed me that much.” Slouching in my seat, I sighed. “Except I did. Goose said he would be back to give me a ride to class this morning, and instead, his mom showed up at the house to bring me a bag of stuff from my apartment that Goose packed for me.” Raising an eyebrow, she glanced over at me a moment before looking back to the road. “I’m sorry, but Sophia’s not so bad. I am sure her giving you a ride wasn’t so bad.” I shook my head. “Oh, the ride was fine, that was nice of her. But I wasn’t really dressed, making her first impression of me, I am sure, not good at all
