Jacob peeked out of the bathroom to find Soomin sitting on her bed with the lamp still on her hand. He slowly closed the door and hesistantly stood in front of the girl, trying his best to look confident and natural. "So Jacob? Care to explain why you are here in my house? Who let you in?" She interrogated. She saw the boy shifting in his place but the state she saw earlier was gone now. That made her believe that he was actually desperate to use the bathroom. 'Jacob now or never. This project is a masterpiece. Nothing can go wrong.' He said to himself and smiled at Soomin. A forced one but since he was an acting student, it looked as natural and real as ever. "What are you talking about babe? You're saying I can't be here when you're the one who called me." Jacob said to Soomin who looked more angry than confused.  He expected her to be confused and weirded out but atleast the lamp in her hand was at rest. "I'm the one who called you? How so? I don't remember even knowing you let alone call you." Soomin asked. "I'm your boyfriend." Jacob said and smirked. "You're my what?" Soomin asked with with a funny expression. It was hard for Jacob to read her now. Her anger was shifting to something else but the anger still lingered on her brows. "Your Boyfriend." Jacob said and winked. "I have never even met you. Can you leave before I call the police?" Jacob said feeling like a criminal when she mentioned the authorities. "You can try that. But they won't be able to see me." Jacob continued. "I'm an imagination. Your imaginary boyfriend." "You're not. You're real." Soomin said with a weird expression. Her eyes squinting now checking the boy out again. "Nah you're real. I can tell." "So you really think that you can get a boyfriend like me for real. Look at me I'm perfect." Jacob said while checking himself out too. "But I cannot imagine." Soomin mumbled to herself but Jacob heard it too. "I'm sorry to break it up to you but as you can see, you can imagine." Jacob said and smirked again.  Soomin stood up from the bed and went towards the boy who claimed to be imaginary. "Who's imagination you're supposed to be?" "Yours." "Oh my God. You need a doctor!" "Take me to yours." He said making a shiver go down her spine, he knew about her doctor. She was still not going to believe a word he said. But she was very curious of what the boy was claiming to be. "So if I touch you, my hands will go through you?" Soomin asked raising her eyebrows to which Jacob scoffed. "I'm imaginary. Not a ghost. There's a difference." Reve taught him that and many other things too. It is safe to say that Jacob was really prepared for anything and everything coming his way. "Why did you have to pee if you're imaginary?" Soomin asked again. "Well I don't control me do I? You do." Jacob said and she sighed. She wasn't going to let this boy tell her that he is imaginary. "Look, don't play games with me. Get out of my house." Soomin said pointing at her door. Jacob scoffed and sat on the same spot where she was earlier sitting. "Only you can do that babe. Stop thinking about me." Jacob said and before she could speak anything the door opened and her mother walked in. "Mom. This boy says he's my boyfriend! Who let him inside the house?" Soomin said pointing at Jacob. She looked at him who gave her a devilish look that drove her mad.  Not wanting to look at the boy any longer she looked at her mother who was looking at the bed where Jacob was sitting, trying her best to bring the actress out of her too. Her mother made a confused face and looked back at her. "What boy? What are you talking about?" Her mother asked her while she was shocked.  "About that boy who is crashing on my bed!" She said in annoyance and grabbed his shirt. "Hey you'll tear it!" He complained but shut up when she glared at him. "Why are you grabbing air sweetheart?" She asked. For Soomin it looked all real. "It can't be. This is a dream." She declared and moved a bit back. "Want me to hit you or something?" He asked playfully. "Shut up! This doesn't make sense!" She said and took a deep breath. "Mom please stop it!"  "Stop what?" "The act. Please I know you can see him! He is right there. Right in front of us, right in front of me." She said the last part very slowly. Jacob saw that her mother was about to c***k and reveal seeing her daughter like that. If he was being honest, he himself wanted to tell her the truth after seeing Soomin almost in the verge of crying. "Soomin my baby, are you ok?" Her mother asked after composing herself in split second. "I'm not mom. This guy here is pretending to be my imagination and you're saying that you can't see him. I'm not ok." He mom rubbed her back to calm her down. Soomin was about to say something, when her mother's phone rang from the living room. "That must be your grandpa. He had his group therapy today." Her mom gave her an apologetic smile and went out to pick her phone up, all while ignoring the boy who was still chilling on the bed like it was his own. "How did she not see you?" Soomin questioned but it was more directed to herself. "I know you know why." Jacob said wiggling his brow. "I don't. Just tell me how." "I already told you why she couldn't see me." "It was like you didn't exist for her." "Told ya I am imaginary."
