STORM’S POV:
I woke up, gasping as fresh air was forced into my lungs. Pain exploded all over my back making me bite my lip to stop the scream threatening to spill out of my throat.
I tried to open my eyes but closed them shut as bright sunlight burned my pupils causing me to immediately shut them closed. I tried to move but winced when a wave of pain shot through my back again, spreading to every part of my body.
I inhaled deeply which was a huge mistake on my part. My ribs stabbed into my chest making me freeze in shock and fear.
