From pain to healing

I ran threw the trees trying to get away from my abusers. I could see we're the Shifter's property line ended. It was close to a lake. I however needed to get to the other side of it to be free of the horrible monsters I lived with. I could feel the Shifters pursuing me and I pushed myself faster. I could feel myself getting weaker from the lack of food and then I noticed my town brother. I was so happy he was still with me as we ran. "Faster Twila. THEY ARE ALMOST ON US!", Fang yelled. I pushed myself as I reached the water. It felt like ice on my skin but it was forcing me to hurry. I started to sink when Fang grabbed my arm and began to swim fast. I tried my best to help but I only failed. I didn't know how to swim. Once on the other side Fang held my hand as we ran father into the property of the Vampire lands. "Mmmm.", I managed. "I know sis. I am tired too. Let's find a cabin to rest in and hopefully get some food in up.", Fang said, "I promise to protect you Kitten." I fallowed him and tried not to trip as we walked until we found a cabin. I looked at my big brother as we hid in the trees. I looked at the cabin to notice people leaving and then at my big brother. once everything was in the clear we took off running. Fang got us in the cabin and he grabbed some junk food. I went for a glass of water and brank two glasses. I have a full glass to my brother and watched him brink it. I smiled a little and Fang tried to get my to eat. I shook my head and we went to a room with a lock on the door and fell asleep curled up in the corner. I woke up to a loud bang and Fang helped me out of the window after him. I ran with him threw the night. Once we were far enough Fang turned to me and covered my eyes with my hand. I heard the bones braking as he shifted into his huge cat. Once I felt fur I grabbed his clothes and climbed onto him. Fang's cat is called Death. Death ran all night until we reached a mantion. I watched him creap up to an opened window and we hid. I climbed off him and left him shift. I was the first to start to hear voices threw out the house. It sounded like someone was not happy they were getting married and wanted an excuse to get out of it. I didn't make noise as Fang hid me with his body. I was so scared. Suddenly everything stopped. "Do you smell that love?", a male asked, "Do you smell lavender and vanilla with the hit of innocents?" "Yes. I wonder where its coming from. We can't find out know. Come King Dracula we will be late.", the girl said. The intoxicating smell vanished. It was the purfect mix of danger, roses, and hunny. I looked at my big bother and frowned. We stayed in the place until dark were we decided after all went quiet that it was safe to move. We quietly crept to around until we found the kitchen. Fang found some cooked thin hamburgers and set them infront of us. We began to eat the food and then someone rushed in. I locked eyes with a very tall man and gasped. My big brother growled. "It's ok. You can finish your food.", the man said. I finished what I was eating and hid behind Fang. suddenly the room was filled with people. I noticed a different man looking at me with curious eyes. I lowly walked to him and sniffed him as he sniffed me. I smelled something familiar about him. I gave the man a strange and confused look as something in him clicked. I watched him fall to him knees as and whisper, "It can't be. It's been so long since you and your brother Fang went missing. We looked everywhere. The day we give up you end up here alive. Well just barely." I moved back behind Fang as Fang instantly got ready for a fight. I was so scared of all this. "What the f**k do you mean? These are the two kids that went missing?", the intoxicating man said. "Missing? No. Molly of the shifter clan took us. She said you all were going to kill us. Your daughter can't even speak because of the years of abuse we went threw.", Fang snapped. I then saw Fang lung at the familiar smelling man and I rushed forward to stop them only to be stopped myself. I looked back to see the man with the intoxicating smell and froze. "Men pull them apart and someone walk Sally. She needs to look them over. We will be in the sitting room. Max bring ice cream, water and pop.", the man said. "Yes King Dracula. Do you want me to bring you two brides to you?", Max asked. "No. She is scared enough as it is and your son is pissed off.", the King said. I was taken to a sitting room were I was sat on a soft couch. I was scared from the kindness and I wanted to leave. I new if I left I was going to be punished. I saw Fang sit close to across from me and give me a fake smile. His eye was black. Then we were given ice cream, water, and pop. I slowly tried the ice cream to find it sweet and cold. I shivered and ate more. I put half down to down the water and I started to feel sleepy. I sat back and let my eyes drop. I slipped into a deep but peaceful sleep. I didn't want to wake up when I felt myself being shaken. I slowly opened my eyes to a female doctor looking at me with a very confused look. I glanced around to see very one gone and I quickly shot to the door. I ran for the front door when I was grabbed by the waist. "It's ok Kitten. I am still here. I know your scared but you have to get looked at. I will stay in their if you feel better.", Fang said. I nodded and hid behind him as we went back to the room. I peeked out at the doctor to see King Dracula their with some people. "Oh wow that is so cute. She is a shy little thing.", King Dracula said, "It will be fun trying to brake her of that." The doctor rolled her eyes and stepped closer. I hid my face in Fang's back an she softly said, "It's ok little one. I am just going to make sure you are ok. That is all. Your brother will be with you the invite time." "Mmmm.", I said. "That's wright Kitten. I will be here. your safe. Would you feel better if I let Death out?", Fang asked. I nodded and he turned. "Wait for the fur." I cover my eyes and soon heard the sound of his shift. It sounded gross and finally felt fur. I looked to see Death and smiled. I ran my fingers threw his fur and walked over to were the doctor was. I new I was under weight and dehydrated. Not to mention sleep deprived. She looked me over and frowned at me. She then looked at King Dracula and said, "I say she is under weight, dehydrated, and in need of sleep. But if she is who Max says she is she needs to feed. That will cure her health issues. I can't say it will fix her voice." "Thank you Sally. I will make sure she has the blood.", King Dracula said. I looked at Death who was growling at everyone and noticed he was shifting back. I looked away and soon heard Fang growl, "She has never had the urge to feed. The doctors declaired her human at birth." All was quiet as the information sunk in. "Give her a needle full of my blood then. we will wait for a few days to see if she has the urge to feed.", King Dracula said. "In the morning. Let us all get some well needed rest.", Doctor Sally said. I looked up at everyone and blinked. "She will be sleeping with me and my two brides. You can have the couch in my room for the night. Sally you will take care of your future Queen's medical needs in the morning. Come. It's time for bed.", King Dracula said. We fallowed him in silence and we made our way up to the fifth floor. I was so tired and ready for some sleep. I watched King Dracula open a door and let us in. Then he grabbed my hand and pulled me into a bathroom. I watched him fill the tub and strip me. Then he stubbed every inch of me clean. once dry King Dracula gave me his shirt and began to brush my hair softly. It took an hour to get my hair completely dry and untangled. Once we were out of the bathroom he gave Fang some clothes and pulled me into the big bed. I fell asleep curled into him. I woke up with a jurck and quickly looked around me. I notice two girls on the other side of him and my brother sleeping on the couch. I carefully got up and tip toed to the bathroom. I used it and washed my hands. I was sneaking back in the room when King Dracula woke up. He looked at me and pointed to the bed. I went back to him and laid down. I felt him pull me close to him and moan softly. I went hid my feeling like I always did. I don't know how long I laid their but finally I saw light coming threw the window. I felt King Dracula start to stir and went still. It just woke him up completely. I was quickly turned to him as I saw two very red eyes looking at me with a secret and amusement. I looked down at his mouth for a second and then away. "Morning baby.", the two brides said. "Morning. Do you remember me at all?", King Dracula asked. I shook my head. "You used to call me Uncle when I visited the Shifters. If I would have know I would have saved you. But the took every step to hid everything about you. Are you hungry?" I nodded as Fang asked, "Were is the kitchen? She never went back to sleep." "That mouth watering sent again. Did you find the owner?", the blond bride said. King Dracula sighed and said, "Yes and you won't believe who it belongs to." I got up quickly and ran to my brother. Fang when into pouncing mode and bared his teeth. The blond bride hissed and at him. King Dracula stood between us and Fang snarled, "You can't have her blood sucking bitch." "Enough both of you. Fang she is safe with us three. Jill that is your Queen's brother.", King Dracula said. "Mmmm!", I managed. They smell so good. King Dracula smells like danger, roses, and hunny. The blond smells like rain. The red head smells like fire and s'mores. I peeked at the red head how was sniffing the air curiously and her eyes landed on me. I hid my face again and faught to control my emotions. "Let's all just go get some food and talk.", King Dracula suggested. I fallowed Fang as we fallowed King Dracula to a huge dinning room. I was looking at the table and back to Fang. He had the same confused look on his face. King Dracula took my hand and made me sit down. Fang sat by me as food was brought to us. The plates were not completely full but more then we were used too. I picked up a biscuit and began to eat it as Fang dug in. A glass of milk and juice was given to us. I kept peeking at the King and his two brides. I noticed the King was doing the same to me and getting a pissed off look on his face. I turned to my brother who just smiled at me and hugged me. We ate breakfast and I just looked at Fang. I ate as much as I could before giving it to Fang. I watched him inhale it all in the matter of minutes. Suddenly there was a loud bang and everyone looked at the King who looked completely p**sed. I grabbed Fang's arm as the King stormed out with his brides. I looked at Fang wanting to cry and Fang had a strange look. I watched Fang stand and he took my hand. I was lead out back and threw the forest until we reached a cliff. I looked at Fang to see Death on the surface. We sat down and just looked at the water. "Let's leave. He clearly doesn't want you and I won't see you in pain again because someone doesn't want to love the amazing woman you are. We can run like we did from the Shifters. Vampires are mean.", Fang said. "You should leave. He is never going to love you when he loves Sally.", a male said. We turned to see a man with an evil grin. He looked like the King. "Sally is our mother.", Death snapped. "Sucks to be you since she loves your three fathers.", the man said, "Just save yourself the trouble and leave." I looked down at my hands afraid of the tears that were coming when I felt something in my back. I gasped coughing up blood. I could feel my soul slipping and everything went black.
