 Emily's POV   The man in a black suit walked up to us, carrying a leather folder. He bowed slightly.  “Good morning, Mr. Miller. Miss Emily,” he said formally. “My name is Mr. Harris. I'm the legal representative of Miller Enterprises. I’ll be officiating the signing of the private marital agreement today.”  His voice was calm yet it still made my heart race.  “This will serve as a binding contract under civil law, effective immediately after both parties sign.”  I blinked at him, unsure whether I heard right.
