Tyler's POV “Three…” I counted, keeping my tone calm. She just stared at me, eyes wide and confused, like she couldn’t decide if this was a joke or a nightmare. “Two—” “Wait!” she gasped suddenly. “Wait, please.” I stopped counting, tilting my head slightly as I looked at her. Her chest was rising and falling fast, her eyes glistening with tears. “I’m listening,” I smirked. “I’ll… I’ll marry you,” she whispered, so softly that I almost didn't hear it. Wl, I wasn't surprised. I knew that would be the answer. I smiled in satisfaction. “Smart choice, baby doll.” She didn’t have anyone else, and she knew I was the only one who could fix this. Of course she'd say yes to me. She dropped back into her seat as though to recollect her thoughts.
