Confiding in a friend

1539 Words
Perplexed, I reached back into the mansion. I took a long shower, dressed, and drove out in my McLaren 720s, followed by Ballista and Fred in another car. While driving, I kept my eyes on the road. Maybe I'll see the mystery girl. Nah, I'll never forget those innocent eyes, her long straight hair, her elegant round cheeks, and her light-complexioned body. I went straight to Sebastian's house. Sebastian is a childhood friend who also happens to be a successful blogger. The house was a yellow-painted mansion surrounded by tall fences. Flowers were planted in front of the mansion, with a vehicle path running through them. I stepped out of the McLaren 720s, followed by Ballista and Fred. I love it when people notice my status as a multi-billionaire. The value of my suit is estimated to be $500,000. This is one of the many reasons why my dressing style is always on point. "Welcome, Max; what brings you here today?" As he walked out of the Mansion, Sebastian asked. He knows I don't come to see him on Sundays because I always have plans for the beginning of the week. "I'm heading to the Club House; care to join me?" I asked him. "Dude, today is Sunday, so the Clubhouse will be closed." Sebastian said, his eyes sore at me. " Closed to you guys, but always open to me anytime ." I hysterically replied to him. "Nobody dares to disobey your orders, my friend. You are wealthy! ".. Sebastian retorted sarcastically. We both climbed into the McLaren 720s and drove out from the compound. I desperately wanted to tell Sebastian about my encounter with the mystery lady while we were driving. He had always found good solutions to all of my problems in the past, which could be why we had grown accustomed to each other. "What's the matter, Max?" You've been quiet and seem to be troubled." Sebastian inquired, almost startling me. Maybe this is the chance to tell Sebastian about my encounter with the mystery lady. I tried to be civil, but it didn't work. I came to a full halt in front of a parking spot. "Do you have any concerns?" Sebastian inquired yet again. I'm not sure where to begin the narration to Sebastian because I'm at a loss for words. "I happen to meet a stranger." ", I said. "There was this girl at the mansion, and when I woke up, she was by my side. I'm not sure how she got there; she took a lot of my stuff and even asked for food before disappearing mysteriously ".. I said all of this without contemplating whether it makes sense or not. "You sound frustrated, Max?" "I am, indeed, frustrated." I responded angrily. "But you can't expect me to believe you when you say you saw a girl at your mansion who slept beside you and then mysteriously vanished"... "That's what happened, and I have no idea what happened or how she got in and out." "Max, I know you well. Even your father has to book an appointment before seeing you, and you expect me to believe everything you just told me? "Sebastian sounded serious when he said this. He was absolutely correct; no one, not even my father, will want to see me without an appointment. "Sebastian, I'm puzzled. I'm confident you'll find a solution, which is why I'm telling you everything ".. I sounded agitated. We both sat in the car for nearly ten minutes without saying anything to each other, probably pondering our next move. Suddenly, a lady walked in front of the car. Those long straight hair, light-complexioned skin, and height are unmistakable. "That's her!". I shouted as I jumped out of the car running as fast as I could. I am sure Sebastian must have been startled by my reaction and me running after a lady. I got closer to her and quickly crossed her path holding her arm not wanting her to escape or disappear again. I looked at her face. "Oh my, I am really sorry, miss". I quickly apologize after seeing that it was not the mystery girl. The lady slapped my face, I am sure she wouldn't have done that if she knew who I was. Ballista and Fred quickly rushed out of the other car running towards me. I know what they would have done to that lady if I hadn't stopped them. Technically, I am to blame. I left the scene slowly and returned to meet Sebastian, who was already standing in front of the car. "Did you just get slapped by that lady?" He yelled angrily. "Leave it, I'm at fault!" I said, trying to defuse the situation. "Are you okay, Max?" Sebastian asked as he assisted me in climbing into the passenger seat of the car. "I'll be driving." He stated. _______ After a long day with Sebastian at the clubhouse, I finally get to take a warm bath in the evening. My cheek is still swollen from the slap I took earlier in the day. This mysterious lady is all over me, and I can't get her off my mind. Sebastian might have been correct. Sebastian had teased me earlier, saying, "Perhaps she's from the spirit world, they know how to mess with a man's heart." After he said that, I quickly silenced him. "But what if he's right?" I wondered, what if she truly came from the spirit world. That's not possible; "there isn't anything like the spirit world". But before leaving the clubhouse, Sebastian and I came to a decision. If she comes back, I'll have Ballista and Fred restrain her and question her tete-a-tete. I went downstairs to have a conversation with Ballista and Fred. I take the stairs down to the living room. The living room can accommodate 700 people at once and is furnished with high-end furniture; I spent a lot of money on it. Ballista and Fred were playing Xbox as usual, as it kept them from falling asleep too early; they are already a part of me, they are my family. They quickly stood up as I walked into the living room, as a sign of respect for me. I quickly gestured them to sit. We sat around a small table at the far end of the living room. "Fred, Ballista. I need both of you to keep a full Nightwatch! ".. I said this while looking them both in the eyes. Their eyes widened, as if they thought I was joking. "Sir, that's fine. But, if I may inquire, why do you require us to keep a full night watch? "asked Ballista. I know Ballista will question why I want them to keep a night watch because he dislikes being left in the dark, but Fred, on the other hand, always accepts and carries out all of my commands. "There was this person who came into my room last night and no one noticed her. I want you both to stay awake because there's a chance she'll come back tonight. Capture and detain her if possible ".. I said firmly, looking them in the eyes. They both stare at each other, probably thinking it's impossible for anyone to enter the mansion without their knowledge. It had been a long and exhausting day, so I stood up and left them sitting before ascending the stairs and making my way to my bedroom. I lay down on the bed, ready to sleep, but most likely thinking about the mystery lady. "Am I starting to love her?" I wondered. "I'm afraid I can't. I can't fall in love with a stranger ".. ______ I can't help myself. I can't take my gaze away from those stunning eyes, light-complexioned body, and long, straight hair. I started following her until we came to a halt, but she refused to turn and look me in the eyes. Now that I'm with her, I'm going to try everything I can to get to know her better. "What is your name?" I inquire of her. She gradually turned to face me. Damn! Her eyes are as beautiful as pearls. Her slow-motion movement gave her the appearance of a queen. "Does my name really matter?" She stated and was getting closer to me. "It does, indeed. I need to know your name and where you're from. You can't just keep vanishing and reappearing ".. I said in a hushed tone. She didn't respond to my questions, and as she moved closer to me, I could feel her breast pressing against my chest. Her body scent is pleasant, and she appears taller than I recall. She drew her head closer to me, as if she was about to kiss me. Her lips were almost touching mine. I can't help but live the moment as my little junior began to rise. Our lips were about to meet when her beautiful white and black eyes turned red, her hair turned white, and her nails and teeth grew longer and ready to bite. As I jerked awake, I became terrified. "Oh, it was all a dream." When I looked over, she was lying beside me on my bed. I grew more terrified.
