I jumped out of bed as quickly as I could, clutching a vase for protection.
"She's snoring!" I thought to myself. I looked at the wall clock at the far end of the room; it read 1 a.m.
I was taken aback by how she managed to get past Ballista and Fred. I dashed towards the door, ready to call Ballista and Fred, but I remembered that if I left, she might disappear again.
I went back and sauntered over to where she was lying. After the nightmare I had, I'm no longer at ease around her.
"It was just a dream, and maybe I was thinking about what Sebastian said about her being a spirit that messes with a man's heart." I mulled.
I moved closer to her, convincing myself that the dream I had was caused by what was going on in my head. As I got closer to her, her lovely body scent welcomed me. Her small nose gave her a classical appearance. I wanted to see more of those eyes, but she was sleeping. I took my time looking at her and examining her.
I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed Ballista and Fred, but both lines were disconnected. I'm taken aback; this is the first time my bodyguard's lines haven't been going through. I can't stay in the same room with her; she'd probably kill me. Similarly, I don't want her to vanish.
Sebastian needs to see her. I took out my phone and photographed her. I now have evidence to convince Sebastian that she is real. "Sebastian, I'm sure you had your doubts".
I crouched against the wall; there was no way I was sharing a bed with her. I quickly curl up in a blanket in a far corner of the room near the door.
This was the best spot because it would be my quick escape route if she turned into a monster. I know what I'm feeling is deep, but I'm not willing to risk my life for anything in this world.
"Wait, what was that deep feeling I was having?" I think to myself. I'm perplexed; I know I shouldn't be feeling this way about a lady who appears and disappears mysteriously; she could even be a monster, as my dream revealed.
I made the decision to keep a Nightwatch on her, ready to flee if anything went wrong.
______
Flowers bloom.
The trees emerge tall, with lovely flowers and leaves. This type of location is out of this world, too beautiful to be true.
Flowers are borne on the path that runs among the trees, and the sun stands still, creating a pleasant atmosphere among the trees.
"If I had a wish, I could live here forever." I told myself this.
But there's something missing; there's no life here, apart from the trees and lovely pink flowers.
I decided to look among the trees, and after searching every nook and cranny, it appears that I am sauntering in circles.
"How could such a beautiful place be devoid of people?" I questioned myself.
I turned around and shifted my gaze to the horizon in the distance. There she is, dressed in a lovely pink gown that matches the color of the flower.
Those lovely long straight hairs and adorable faces were impossible to overlook. As I ran towards her, she stood at a great distance, staring at me. As I got closer to her, I noticed the sun had turned red, creating a dim darkness. The lovely trees and pink flowers withered and turned brown.
I stopped trotting, studying my surroundings, it's no longer the beautiful place it was earlier. The trees appear weak and rusted with no leaves on them, all the flowers are brown like it was not once a beautiful Alley.
I turned and switched my gaze at the mystery lady which stood at the horizon, her pink dress was gone and was replaced with a torn, brown, and dirty rag which almost revealed her cleavages. Her eyes turned red as she began to cry blood.
It was a horrific sight, I started to shiver.
But something changed, a delicious scent of food filled the air. "Where is this scent coming from?" I asked myself.
I returned my gaze to her. But she was no longer there. "Where has she gone?" I questioned myself.
I attempted to locate her. She was right behind me, close enough to kiss me. It's a horrifying sight to see blood dripping from her eyes.
I quickly opened my eyes, but was greeted with a beautiful cute face that startled me.
"I made breakfast." She said this while holding a tray of food in front of me.
I quickly rose to my feet, clutching the vase I had taken earlier for protection.
"You're not going to do that." She said this while looking at the vase I was holding.
Oh my goodness, it was all a dream. I'm now uneasy because I've been having terrifying dreams since I met her.
I couldn't let go of the vase I was holding. I need to be on guard in case she transforms into a monster, as I saw in my dream.
She was wearing my underwear and shirt again, and I was terrified. She looks stunning in those outfits, but I can't get past my fears.
"Your food will get cold". She let out, as she bent down and dished the food on a plate.
"There's no way I'm eating that!". I said to myself as I slowly advanced towards the door.
I opened the door and hurried downstairs, where I saw Ballista and Fred eating. I could not believe my eyes when I saw they were eating the same variety of food the mystery lady brought for me to eat.
I stared at them, I became startled as I struggled to find words. "What are you guys eating?". I asked in a furious voice, both Ballista and Fred quickly stood up, probably shocked.
"Your fiance cooked the food." Ballista said, perplexedly looking at me.
"My fiance?"
"Yes, Your Fiance." Fred responded.
"What are you both talking about, Fiance?" I was arguing.
"Mr. Max. She was brought in by your father yesterday. After you went to bed and introduced her to us as your fiancée ".. Ballista said, looking at Fred to see if he could back up his words.
"Yes, Ballista was correct, sir; your father brought her in after you went to sleep the night before. We are powerless to intervene because he introduced her to us as your fiancee ".. Fred exclaimed.
Now I understand all that happened, she's not a monster nor did she disappear or appear mysteriously. My Father had always put pressure on me to get married since I took over his company as the CEO. Surely, The mystery lady had the opportunity to come into the mansion the other day because my father had it planned as he called Ballista and Fred for an emergency meeting, so the mystery lady could sneak in and leave before Ballista and Fred arrive.
I became furious, my heart hardened as I ordered Ballista and Fred to follow me into my room and force the mystery lady out of the Mansion.
I quickly ascend the stairs, Ballista and Fred attempting to keep up with my pace. I flung open the bedroom door, she was sitting on the bed with her legs folded, and I looked at her with disgust as I ordered Ballista and Fred to throw her out of the Mansion.
Ballista and Fred cornered her and dragged her out of the bedroom while holding her arms. She turned and looked at me, a beautiful smile on her face despite the way Ballista and Fred had treated her.
"Annabelle". She spoke in her usual lovely tone.
"What?". I asked. what did she mean by that, who did she call Annabelle?.
"Annabelle, that's my name!" She said as Ballista and Fred made her descend the stairs and out of the Mansion. I could not take it, I know I am already in love with her but became overwrought with my anger.
I slowly went back into my bedroom and stood by the window and watched Ballista and Fred throw her out of the big gate of the mansion. She stood at the front of the gate not leaving, I felt bad for her. Maybe throwing her out was not a good decision after all.
I quickly picked up my phone, ready to call Ballista to let her into the Mansion, when suddenly a white Rolls Royce came to a halt in front of her. I was surprised when she entered the Vehicle. It became more clear to me that my dad had something to do with this, he even had her transport planned.
She's gone, and I'm back to my old self. I decided to lie down on the bed because I could still smell her in the room. Her expression remained imprinted on my mind.
"Annabelle!". "But she had a sexy name," I thought to myself.
I know what I'm feeling is pure, but I couldn't succumb to my father's selfish ego......
"I should not have ordered Annabelle's eviction from the Mansion!"
