Chapter 15: Alistair King

“I have something to tell you too. I know who your father is love. It’s Alistair King.” Alistair King was my father? The legendary Alistair King. Alistair King was known as the most powerful wolf ever know before Xavier. It was said he was the king of wolfs and was the Alpha over all Alphas. “If he’s my father, then why did he never try to find me? Why did he leave me and my mom, with James?” I said with tears in my eyes. And looked down to my hands. “Love look at me.” Xavier pulled my head up again. “I don’t know why he left you and your mom with James. But maybe you will get the answer if you talk to him.” Talk to him. My eyes got big. How could I talk to the legendary Alistair King? “I have made an appointment to meet him. He will come here in a week and then we can ask him together.” Xavier kissed me on my lips. “I will be with you all the time love, so don’t worry.” “Thank you, for finding my father and for loving me, Xavier.” “No, thank you love. For forgiving me, loving me and giving me a child.” I gave him a passionately kiss and we lay with our arms around each other. The next day it was time to tell the pack I was pregnant. Xavier had called all his pack members to the great hall for an announcement. We stood on the stage in front of the pack. “Dear pack members I have an announcement to make. We found out yesterday, that Elena is pregnant and is expecting to give birth approximately in 8 months.” All the pack members clapped and cheered. I was so happy; I was mated to Xavier and was expecting our first child. I had a family in this pack. All the pack members had accepted me and now I knew who my biologically father was.

We were standing outside the pack house, waiting for our guest to arrive. I was so nervous. I was fidgeting with my hands when Xavier took one of them in his hand. I looked up at him and he smiled to me. “Relax love. I’ll be here with you all the time.” I nodded and then a big black car arrived. A middle-aged man stepped out. He had light skin, brown hair, starting to turn grey and grey eyes. He had a strong aura, just not as strong as Xavier’s. “Alpha Alistair King, I’m happy you said yes to come visit me.” Xavier said with a friendly smile. Alpha king smiled back and then his eyes landed on me. His expression turned into a shock. “Beatrice??” “I’m sorry Alpha Alistair King let me introduce my mate and this pack’s Luna, Elena Cane.” He still had a shocked expression, and his eyes had a lot of emotion running in them, surprise, sadness, happiness, anger. “It’s nice to meet you.” I said and turned my head down. “Are you related to a woman named Beatrice Cane?” “Yes, Beatrice Cane was my mom and I think maybe you’re my …” I couldn’t say it. “I’m your dad.” I turned my head back up and I could see the happy smile on his face and the tears in his eyes. He was happy to se me. “Please Alpha Alistair King, let’s go in and talk.” He nodded. “But please only call me Alistair.” We went into the living room and sat down. “Why did you never come for me or my mother?” I asked afraid of the answer. “I better tell you the story. You mother and I met, a day when I was visiting her pack. When I saw her for the first time, I recognized her immediately as my mate. And she did the same. But your mother was afraid of me rejecting her. She told me about her new Alpha and old mate. He had rejected her and told her she was ugly. I couldn’t understand why. She was very beautiful. I told her I would never reject her and asked her to come back home with me. At first, she was hesitant, but she decided to go with me. I didn’t mark her right away, because I wanted to make sure she was ready. Right after our first time, which happened because she went into heat, she told me she was pregnant. I was so happy. I was going to mark her that night, but I got a mind-link telling me, we were under attack by 30 rogues. I rushed out to fight them. Under the attack I felt an immense pain and I ran back to the pack house to find your mother. She was gone. I searched for your mother, but her scent was clouded. I later found out that her old mate had taken her and marked her, because he was going weak. But he unfortunately had moved to another territory, where he was hidden by a witch spell. I knew I had a child and I hoped someday I would se this child. When I saw you outside it was like seeing your mother for the first time. The same long blonde hair, pale skin and the light blue eyes shining like diamonds. The only difference with you and your mother is the freckles on the nose.” Tears was running down his cheeks and he looked regretful. “So, you never stopped looking for me or my mother?” “No, I have looked ever since you got taken away from me. Now tell me how you have been?” I told him everything that had happened ever since mom died. About how I got treaded by the pack, how I got rejected by Erik, how I found Xavier and how I now was very happy and pregnant with him. “I can’t believe I’m already going to be a grandfather, so soon after I found you.” He looked me in the eyes and gave me warm smile. He then looked towards Xavier. “You Alpha Xavier Silver, is one hell of a wolf. I have heard rumors about you. But that you would give me this surprise and bring me and my daughter together, I will always be grateful for that.” Xavier smiled at him. “I just want Elena to be happy. I have promised her ever since I rejected her. I owe her a lot. She has giving me so much. She forgave me for the horrible things I said. Sometimes I think I’m not worthy of such an amazing woman as mate.” I looked up at him surprised of the things he said. His eyes were sincere. He meant all what he said. He really felt like that. But I’m the one, sometimes thinking I’m not worthy of such an amazing male as him. We talk for a long time. My dad then left and promised to come visit occasionally.

3 month later

Xavier and I was on our way to the doctor for a checkup. We were walking hand in hand. “Xavier what if it’s going to be a girl.” I smiled up at him. A couple of days ago he said he was sure it was a boy, because he was an Alpha, and Alphas first born was usually a boy. “I will love her as much as if it was a boy, love.” He said and gave me a quick kiss.

We were sitting in the room waiting for the doctor to come in. “Hallo Alpha and Luna. Now let’s see to the baby.” She putted some gel on my stomach and then we looked at the screen. “The baby is great. Would you like to know the gender?” She asked and smiled towards us. “Yes please.” I said while we both nodded. “It’s going to be a boy.” A boy. Xavier was right. I looked up into Xavier eyes and he smiled at me. “I told you love.” He said with a grin and kissed my lips. We then thanked the doctor and went home. When we got back Xavier walked me to a room across from ours and entered. “This is the nursery. What do you think love?” He said and smiled down at me. I looked around. The walls were painted like a forest. On one of the walls were painted three wolfs with names above them. One big black wolf with green eyes, which was Xavier’s. A smaller white wolf whit light blue eyes, which was mine. And between them a light brown pup, with light blue eyes. It was beautiful. On another wall was my fathers wolf, Angies, Aidens, Iris’ and Lionels. I loved what he had done to the nursery.
