Chapter 10: The Sweet Sound Of Revenge

Xavier POV

I woke up in the middle of the night. Elena was sleeping peacefully besides me. If I had arrived just a minute later the bastard would had marked her. I stroke her head and got up. I put some sweatpants on and went down to the dungeon. I went into one of the cells. Eric was sitting in a chair, chained with silver chains dipped in wolfsbane. Alexander and Aiden were standing in the room, looking scornfully at him. “Hey Alpha. Hows Elena?” Aiden asked with worry written on his face. “She’s sleeping.” “Good. We have warmed him up a little for you. Hope you don’t mind.” Alexander said and looked towards Eric. Eric was covered in blood on his face and he had multiple bruises on his chest and face. “No, it’s fine. Besides, he will be tortured a lot more than this.” I said with an evil grin. Eric was shivering in fear. “Please I’m sorry…. It wasn’t my idea….my dad told me to do it or he would punish me.” He said with fear in his eyes. “Then I guess we have one more we have to find and torture after you.” I said and smiled cruelly at him. I went over to the table with all the devices and took up a silver whip dipped in wolfsbane. “Now boys let the fun begin. Better chain him up so his hanging from the sealing.” I said to Aiden and Alexander. They removed him from the chair and chained him to the sealing, so he was hanging. “Alpha Eric you will regret you ever tried to mark my mate and that you ever touched her. Every night you will get tortured and for every night the pain will increase, I will start the torture, afterwards Aiden here will give you the same treatment. And then Alexander will give you the same treatment to finish.” I looked him in the eyes, and they were full of fear. What a pathetic Alpha. Then I gave him 10 whippings and he screamed. Afterwards Aiden gave him 10 whippings and at last Alexander gave him 10 whippings. “He’s a pathetic excuse for an Alpha. He passed out from 30 whippings.” Aiden said. I agreed and told them we stopped the torture for tonight and then I went back to my beautiful mate. She was still sleeping peacefully when I entered our bedroom. I went over to the bathroom to wash all the bloodstains of me and lay down beside Elena and wrapped my arms around her.

The next night, I went down to the dungeon again to continue his punishment. I went over to him with a silver knife in my hands and looked him in his eyes. “So, tell me Eric. Why did your father tell you to do it?” He looked at me in fear but refused to talk. So, he won’t answer. Well, he will when I’m finished with him. I connected my knife with his chest and then cut him all the way down to his navel. “You better talk, that way we can end the torture today instead of keeping you here for month.” I said to him. I didn’t care about either way, but I wanted to know why her stepfather hated her so much.  “He…he told me he had also rejected his mate, but then got weaker. He told me he found his mate and kidnapped her and then marked her.” He said shivering. So, Elena’s mother was forced to stay with him, but that doesn’t explain why her father never came to get revenge. I told Alexander and Aiden to let him down and sit him in the chair. I went over to him and then I snapped his neck. I told Alexander to clean the mess up and then I went up to my room again. I got a bath and lay down besides Elena. I had to capture Alpha James and then torture the answers out of him, to help her find her father.

Elena POV

I had been home for some weeks now after my abduction and my relationship with Xavier was going well. He told me yesterday he had to go to an Alpha meeting today and he would be home late. I went down to the training field and sat on the bench under the tree, beside Angie. “Hey Angie.” “Hi Elena, has my brother leaved for his meeting?” “Yeah, he left early this morning.” We were talking for a while, when I suddenly felt an immense pain in my lower abdomen, and I started to feel like I was on fire. I crunched down to the ground, taken deep breath. “Elena, whats wrong?” Aiden came running over but froze when he came near. “Sis, you have to get her inside now. She’s in heat and I can’t almost don’t control my wolf, the whole field is crawling with unmated males. Get her inside now! I’ll get mom and dad.” He said and ran away fast to nut jump me. Angie helped me up and we staggered back to the pack house. Before we reached the door, an unmated male was standing in front of us. “Ricky! Stop! The Alpha will kill you!” Angie yelled but he didn’t react. Oh f*ck, what now. Right before he could jump me, Lionel jumped in front of us and growled, Ricky came to his senses and ran away. “Let’s get you indoor and up to your room Elena.” Iris said she was standing behind us. But before I took another step the pain increased. “F**ck it hurts, I can’t.” “Lionel, carry up to her room.” “Yes, honey.” Lionel picked me up and carried me to my bedroom, he lay me down on the bed and then left to stand guard in front of the door. “Angie, you and I are going to make a cold bath for her, it will help a little.” “How long are the pain going to be like this, mom?” I asked her before she and Angie could go to the bathroom. “Elena, I won’t lie to you. It will be like this for a week, then it will vanish. But it will be back until you have finished the mating.” She said and then entered the bathroom, they filled the bathtub with cold water and helped me over to it. When I sank down in the cold water it helped a little, but the pain was still strong. “Mom, there is nothing we can do?” Angie asked. “No, the only one who can help her is Xavier, dad have already mind-link him and he is on his way here.” After 5 minutes the door was opened, and Xavier came in towards us. Angie and Iris left the room, and we were all alone. “Baby? Oh f*ck I almost can’t fight my wolf. Are you okay?” “Yeah, but it still hurts.” “I know Baby. Even do I know this helps a little you can’t stay in the tub for much longer. Let me help you up.” He came over and helped me up, but I could feel he fought his wolf.
