"I can't believe that Iris had another kid," Alec muttered next to me.
"Yeah, me either," I muttered in response.
Alec and Janna flew here as soon as they got BJ settled at the rehab. Janna has been absolutely beside herself this whole time. She's blaming herself.
I'm glad that they came out though. Having Alec around keeps me in check. He's always had a way of helping me think clearer when I don't want to. That's why he's my best friend.
However, I feel I am slowly starting to unravel at this point.
I've barely reacted since Violet went missing. I had spurts of anger, but they were nothing compared to what I wanted to do. Other than those times... I've just been... numb.
