SEVEN The Creeper carried the lifeless corpse of Ben and the unconscious form of Natasha on its broad shoulders, as it meandered its way through the labyrinthine tunnels which led to its lair. Ben outweighed his girlfriend by a good forty pounds but to the Creeper the uneven weight made no difference, such was the creature’s awesome strength and power. The extra weight of its load did not compel the beast to breathe any harder than it did when it was merely sitting or standing still.
