Chapter 10

We spend Christmas togather at Hazels parents. I've met them befor. They live more into the other side of the country.

They invited me to stay at their place to celebrate Christmas. I couldn't deny it.

Mili made us decorate both of our houses with Christmas tree and twinkly lights.

I have installed house alarm and cctv cameras at my house. I could also control them from my phone also all the lights at my house can be controlled via mobile, so fancy right. Yeah I know I'm paranoid.

We stayed two days at Hazels parents.

It was really nice of them to invite me and they treat me as family.

Since I was away for Christmas I brought early presents for my god daughter.

Mili and Hazel have met them.

It went smooth I would say. Both parties seems to like each other. I think Angie and Hazel hit it off from the start.

The kids loved each other. On weekends they have their play date even tho Chloe is too small to understand but Mili loves Chloe, they are so cute.

We decided to celebrate New Year togather insted of at office party.

Mili was so thrilled to stay up till 12 but we tricked her into counting down early. See she's 5 okay... Mili fell asleep early.

But we both stayed awake sharing wine

I obviously took 2 sips and done, whereas Hazel drunk a little more than needed.

I didn't mind it, it's new year after all, also she's a full time mom like come on, she deserves it.

We were counting at the balcony and when the clock struck 12 we shouted happy New Year, what happened after shocked me.

She Kissed Me!!!

Her lips were so soft, she tastes sweet, it was like a shiver through spine kinda kiss.

It look me by surprise but eventually without even knowing I respond to the kiss my hand holding her hip pulling her closer to my body while her hands snaked around my neck then slowly caressing the bottom of my hair.

The kiss got intense very fast

After few minutes we broke the kiss to catch our breaths resting on our foreheads eyes closed panting. As our eyes opened we broke from each others hold realizing what just happened.

I could see she was shocked from her actions same as I was shocked of my action.

She was drunk but I was completely sober, how did this even happenQQQq

She instantly went inside, drinking more, I could see she feels guilty.

I got back inside after some more time to see her passed out on the couch.

I couldn't help but smile at this beautiful lady fast asleep on the couch.

I carried her to her room laying her on her bed, pulled cover on her, after placing a kiss on her forehead I went to my room, aka gust room.

I have some of my clothes here for when I stay here.

My thoughts go back to the kiss as I lay on the bed.

I never thought of her like that before, eventhough everyone kept telling otherwise. Yes she's undoubtedly gorgeous.....

And today I don't know what came over us... me.

Whatever it was I'm just gonna leave it there.

The next day she never spoke of the kiss and I never asked either.

We kind of pretended nothing happened afterwords.

We celebrated Milis birthday at my place.

They surprised me on my birthday with cake. I wonder how they knew my birthday,

I don't usually talk about it. Mili made me a card and brought 'well Hazel brought' me a gift. My birthday isn't a thing for me anymore, I used to love them but...

But what they did for me made me happy.

I was laying on my bed thinking how my life changed in a year.

I got a family not out of blood or bounds just out of love.

And the same time I also feel like I don't deserve any of it.

It's been a dream life since I met them but do I deserve them...

At the same time I cant help loving my newly found family. They were send to me and I wasn't even looking.
