Hazel

I was heading to park to get Mili.

Since they are having a field day in the park near our house I asked her teacher if I could take her home straight from park when they are finished.

As I get to the park I can see her sitting on a bunch, some kids are standing in a group in front of her, her head is down. Their teachers are sitting unde a large tree watching over the wild kids.

I see someone walk to where Mili is and say something to the group of kids, they lower their head in guilt and run away.

And he sat near Mili, What..??

I was going for attack mode. I know all Mili's teachers and he ain't one...

What?! he can be a kidnapper for all I know, even though he isn't dressed like one but nowadays you can't really tell who's who, so...

Looks can be deceiving sometimes.

But that's when I saw him wave at a teacher returning the gesture.

So he isn't some random stranger.

No need to go hostile.

I get closer to where they are. He sits on his knees in front of Mili asking something.

She didn't react first then she start speaking after taking a look at the person.

I was getting closer to them, but they can't yet see me because of the trees.

As I was getting closer to their spot I can see and hear them but they didn't see me.

I stopped behind the tree when I heard my little girl tell the stranger that she misses her mamma but hides it because she always see me crying at nights holding our picture.

Mili haven't spoken of her mamma in a year. She appears aloof at times.

I tried talking to her but failed every single time, because she wouldn't talk, she won't open up.

At the age of five she acts like a adult when it comes to stuffs like this.

Looks like life forced her to be matured way too soon. She is supposed to be a clueless child living her fairy life.

But seeing my girl opening up even to a stranger, I didn't wanted to intrude even to a complete stranger, also he seems friendly and harmless.

I stayed behind the tree and watch as they speek.

Tears started falling off from my eyes as I sat there and hear my baby talk about her mamma.

I pulled myself back eventually and made sure that they wont suspect that I was crying before heading towards them.

When Mili saw me coming, she run to me smiling and hugged me.

I bent over and scooped her in my arms and give her butterfly kisses. She told me what had happened moments ago. Then proceeds dragging me to the person who was now standing with a warm smile on his face, wait is it a he ???

He was like 5'1 feet tall, medium build body, Black hair showing hints of faded coloring, Brown skin, Brown eyes, hm.. an asian I assume.

He wore Black fit pants & light blue shirt with dots showing the perfect body structure.

Attractive... no I'm not checking him out.

Ears pierced, wearing ring on em, round face with a warm smile and it isn't a 'he'.

We shook hands, got acquainted something about this person hits different.

Her eyes just pull you in like you can't hide anything... like it sees through you, also so warm.

She seemed to truly like and care for Mili...

As we were leaving Mili suddenly run to her and hugged her she bent on her knees and return the hug and kissed her head dearly. Mili pulled back and kissed her cheeks in return, she then kissed Mili nose making her giggle befor letting go.

I was shocked at the scene of affection to this person who she known for maybe an hour.

Mili don't easily get attached to people, especially strangers but to this person...

I feel sad seeing that cause I never seen her being this affectionate with any other person except for her mamma.
