Eleventh Chapter

Eveline's POV

After hearing Zachary's words I couldn't sleep for days. He told me that I should immediately help Alexander and should practice not only my mental strength but my physical power as well.

I just needed some time to repair myself from that event with Mirena...

It's been four days since then and I am feeling a lot better and maybe even I have the strength to start my training with Zachary. But of course not only with him. Maeve and Theo volunteered to help me with training and shifting, and I am so glad that I will not be alone with Zachary...we still didn't talk about us...I don't who I am to him and he to me. 

It is already 8 am and I heard a loud knock behind my door. I stood up to see who is it.

"Girl! why are you still in your lingerie?" Maeve asked looking at me shocked and angry. She stormed into my room and began throwing everything from my closet.

"Hey! Maeve! First of all, it's not lingerie it is my pajama, second, what a heck you are doing to my clothes?!" I came to her looking at her pissed off.

"Eveline, if you want to shift and finally open your power, you should train, A LOT!" she said strictly. Oh god!

"Aaargh!" I groaned loudly throwing myself on the bed.

"No, no, no darling, stand up! boys are waiting for us already! wear your sports clothes and let's go!" she said pulling me from the bed and giving me sports-wear.

I groaned one more time and went to the closet room for changing.

When we came to the training side where I chose my weapon with Maeve...It's like, it's been an eternity since then.

In the middle were standing Zachary, Theo, and...What a hell he is doing here? Eric was in sports shorts and shirtless, while Theo and Zachary were in their sports-wear.

When we came to them Zachary nodded to us, Theo gave me a bear hug and kissed my forehead like to Maeve, I chuckled and tapped his back. Eric just grinned looking at me before Maeve hugged him by the torso. God, I am gonna throw up right now.

"So, let's start" Zachary interrupted me from my thoughts.

We began to warm up, then Zachary removed his tee...no way! I couldn't remove my eyes from his chest and abs. Maeve didn't even notice this show distracted by her 'beloved' but Theo pretty much noticed my gazing.

"Sis, you better put yourself together before Eric starts to pull out his jokes" he whispered into my ear.

"ahm" I cleared my throat and tied to look away.

"So, Eveline, you should try to shift" Zachary pointed out.

"Yeah, and how I supposed to do this?" I frowned.

I was looking at Zachary until I heard sweet moaning and giggling from Maeve. 

"What the heck guys?" I asked looking at Eric who was kissing and whatever else doing to Maeve's neck. He looked at me and laughed, "oh god, Zachary, she can't shift, we just wasting our time" he said while kissing Maeve. Now he is making me super annoyed and pretty much angry.

"Excuse me?" I shouted at Eric.

"what? Everyone knows that you still can't shift. If you didn't shift then, where's the guarantee you will shift now?" 

My breath began to be unsteady and I swear I wanted to rip Eric's head off. I felt how my blood started to boil inside me and how my body stiffened.

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU ASSHOLE?" I growled at him and I felt how someone in me wanted to free itself.

"Eveline...your eyes," Theo said cautiously.

"He is right, your eyes changed like on the roof, remember?" Zachary exclaimed.

I eyed them and then looked back at Eric who was smirking. I growled at him but he did nothing.

"See Zachary, my method always works," Eric said grinning at Zachary. Wait! What? Method? I started to calm down. What method? What he is talking about?

"Well, somewhere your annoyance is useful, Eric" Zachary rolled his eyes and came to me.

"You feel it?" he asked me while holding my shoulders.

"What? Anger towards Eric?" I asked annoyed.

"No, silly, your beast inside you, you should feel how it wants to break free...close your eyes and feel it," he said in a calm voice. 

Alright, let's do what he said. I took a deep breath and then closed my eyes...for a moment I felt something...someone. My heartbeat was faster than usual and all my body stiffened. 

"Feeling it?" Zachary asked.

"Yeah..." I exhaled.

"Good. Now focus on your heartbeat."

I did what he said. I focused on my heartbeat, I heard how my heart bounced through my chest. I wanted to free what's inside of me. 

"Now...relax," He said leaving my shoulders and stepped away.

I relaxed all my body. And in that second I felt a terrific pain on my back.

"Ahh!!!" I screamed crying.

"What the heck!?" Maeve shouted coming to me.

"Ahh!!! Make it stop! Make it stop! Aaahh!!" I screamed louder from the agony pain.

"Zachary! Eric! Someone help her!! What's wrong with her!!" Maeve screamed on others while holding my hands while I was lying on the ground, scratching the mat which was underneath me.

"Eveline! W-what's happening??" Zachary looked at my back and I saw his eyes were terrefied from what he saw.

"Zachary do something! For God sake!" Eric screamed at Zachary who was sitting on his knees near me.

"Aaah!" I let out another scream before passing away and seeing worried faces of my friends.
