chapter 2

RIVER P.O.V 

i slowly started to wake up on a cold ground i look around to see where i was but it is to dark to see anything. i heard footsteps then a door open and light was now shining through .i couldn't see the man face that was standing in the doorway . " where i am . i want my mom " i said as i started crying the man just laughed " you're never going to your parents again" he said then he close the door and  once again i'm surrounded by darkness i just crawled up in a ball on ground crying.i don't know how long i was crying for but i end up fall sleep i was waken up by the door being open so  i sat up an in come the man he had something in his hand i can't tell what it was i shoved myself up against the wall he raised his arm up i was scared that he was going to hurt i quickly crawled up in a ball an started crying again . it felt like forever waiting to get beaten but nothing happened i slowly open my eyes and saw that he had put a light bulb in. my eyes are a little blurry from crying so it take me a minute to start seeing what the man look like he like familiar. he squatted down in front of me staring at me " you look just like you mother when she was your age " he said i was now confused how did he know my mom when she was a child .he stood back up " come with me " he said and held his hand out for me to take i didn't know what to do but i know i didn't want to be by myself again so i stood up and take his hand and walk out of the room with him. we walked up the stairs to a door .he open the door that lead to a kitchen " go sit at the table i was get you some food and a drink  " i slowly walk to the table and sat down i just stared to the table .a few minutes later i see a plate of eggs and toast in front of me " thanks you " i said to him. i was so hungry that i was shoving the food in my mouth and stop to take a drink of milk when i was done i look up at him see has he  a cup in this hand it was  probably coffee that what my dad drinks . he was watching me the look in his eyes held a lot of emotion " who are you " i ask he take a sip from his cup then puts it down " i'm your uncle marcus " he said . what no he can't be i only has one uncle from my dad side an uncle matt live with his wife pack " no your not " i said  he looked sad for a minute " i am your uncle" "your mother is my little sister " he said " what then why did you take me" i ask him   " i had to river . your mother has to pay for what she did to our family " marcus said " what did my mom do " i ask .my mother is so sweet to everyone she wouldn't  hurt anyone unless they are bad people " i can't tell right now your to young but i will tell you when your older but you have to be good for me an if your not then you will punished " marcus said . i heard a door open and i can hear people talking. i jump out of the chair and take off out the door and was running as fast as i could . i just kept running down the driverway i can hear marcus and his men right behind me so i ran faster down the road  .i can see people up at a house  that was like 5 feet away  so i started screaming for help they look up so i knew they heard me i looked behind to see if marcus will there by he wasn't when i got to the group of people i drop down to the ground crying a lady pick me up " are you okay honey " she ask me " no a bad man  take me " i said then  i heard someone on the phone . they take me in inside to wait the cops to come . i was sitting on the couch with a cup of water the lady was asking me questions when we heard knocking on the door one of the young men  went to open the door when suddenly the door flew open and in came a pissed off marcus grad the men by his neck  an held on tightly to the men neck . the men was trying to fight back but marcus is strong  there was this snapping sound an marcus drop the men to the ground .the two  woman started screaming i close my eyes and covered my ear i was frozen in my spot  as i was so scared when i felt someone grab me i open my eyes to see marcus " this is all on you they are dead because of you " he said an turn me around to see what they did there was blood everywhere  " NO " i yelled. i looked up at marcus with tears in my eyes he is pissed that he back handed me .

river p.o.v 

it was almost midnight as I was laying in bed thinking about how i would have had my birthday party and how it would have been so  fun i would have my family and friends i would have been so happy  but no the reality is i have been gone for 5 years now .i have  been stuck in this house with Marcus who at first was kinda of nice but the last few months he has become a lot meaner towards me and so have his men the only one that is nice to me is maria . i found out two years ago she is a witch and that marcus has made her his slave i also found out that she help him with kidnapping me . but im not mad at her she had no choice but to help him. my door started to  open slowly when it was open enough maria pop her head in to see if i was wake when she saw that i was. she came all the way in and shut the door behind her. she sat on my bed and held out little  black box " happy birthday river " she said i sat up an take  the box an open it inside was a beautiful necklace with a small blue crystal on it " thanks you maria " i said and hug her she help me put it on " one day this with help you " she said . she was about to say something else but my door the slammed open with a drunk marcus  stumbling in " let go b***h " he said as he grab maria an started to dragging  her out of my room  he then  shoved her to one of his men name john he came back an grab me by my hair an  drag me out of bed and  out of my room all the way to the back yard as soon as we are out side he shoved me to the ground " its almost time little b***h " he said i knew what he was talking about im about to shift for the first time . i was started to stand up when out of nowhere i was hit with this  excruciating pain that spread throughout my body it take my breath away then my felt all of my bones breaking and rearranging them to take form of my wolf closing my eyes and trying  to  keep breathing though it was hard i want to fight but i  knew i would only hurt worse i just had to wait until the pain stop i dont know how long it been but the pain is now gone so i open my eye open to see  everyone is staring at me i looked towards the house to see my in the window when i saw my reflection i was shocked my fur is white as snow i have frosty blue eyes when i look back to everyone marcus has this evil smile on his face this is not good " you need to run " a voice said  out of nowhere " what who said that" i ask back " im ariel your wolf  your not safe here we need to run now . let me have control " ariel said " okay " i said . ariel take over all control of our wolf she turn her head to the left then take off in high speed in to the woods jumping over fallen trees we can hear the other behind us she pick up her speed more . the other are about 15 feet behind us . i thought we were go to escape and be free when out of nowhere maria appeared ariel had to stop and she let out a deep growl at maria . she just whispered that she is sorry she then raised her hand an snapped her fingers that is  the last thing i remembered .
