karma chapter 1
This is the story of a very simple and innocent boy named Aaron.
Aaron had passed his 12th grade with an impressive 95% score and had recently enrolled in college. He was determined to build his skills and create a better future for himself and his family. To begin with, he joined a computer training class, believing that technical knowledge would help him move ahead in life.
Aaron was smart-looking and had a very straightforward nature. He was so innocent that he had never even properly looked at a girl—neither during school nor in college. His only focus was his future.
He wanted to change his family’s financial condition and fulfill his parents’ dreams. Honest, disciplined, and hardworking, Aaron believed that success should come before relationships. Many girls in his neighborhood admired him, but Aaron had already decided that he would think about love and marriage only after achieving something meaningful in life.
Every day, Aaron attended his computer class, carefully working on his skills. He had only one bad habit—smoking.
One afternoon, Aaron was standing outside a small shop, smoking a cigarette, when three girls walked past him on their way to the same computer institute. Aaron didn’t recognize them, but the girls instantly recognized him—and noticed him.
Aaron glanced at them briefly, but at that moment his phone rang. He became busy on the call and didn’t look in their direction again.
Their class timings were different. Aaron’s class ran from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, while the girls’ class was from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Every day after finishing his class, Aaron would buy cigarettes from the same shop and smoke while standing outside. This routine continued daily, but Aaron never paid any attention to the girls.
One day, after completing his class, Aaron lit a cigarette and stood outside the shop as usual. A little later, the same group of girls walked by on their way to class. Suddenly, one of them—Daisy—walked straight up to him.
Without saying anything, she took the cigarette from Aaron’s lips, threw it on the ground, and crushed it under her foot.
Aaron was stunned. Confused, he asked her,
“Why did you do that?”
Daisy replied calmly,
“Aaron, I don’t like it when you smoke. Don’t smoke again.”
Aaron was usually very calm by nature, but when his ego was challenged, he could react strongly. Still, at that moment, he chose to remain silent. He walked back into the shop, bought another cigarette, and came out.
By then, the girls had already walked away.
Aaron lit the cigarette again.
Just then, Daisy turned back, walked toward him once more, snatched the cigarette from his hand, threw it away, and said firmly,
“I told you once, Aaron. I don’t like it when you smoke. So why are you smoking again?”
This time, Aaron looked at her seriously and said,
“Look, I don’t even know you. Who are you? This is my personal life. Why are you interfering in it?”
Daisy smiled softly and replied,
“I’ll become a part of your personal life.”
Then she added,
“Okay, see you tomorrow.”
With that, she turned around and walked away.
Aaron stood there, confused—unaware that this moment was the beginning of a story that would change his life forever.
