Blossom's P.O.V
I didn't sleep, I just couldn't. The sun rose and I decided to go to the dungeons to visit them before the trial. I went down and all the previous prisoners were moved. They were all placed in the beginning and the wolves were at the very end. The were put in different cells across from each other. They were both awake and knew I was coming from miles away. I went to the male. "I really hope you aren't hurt. You both should know that I don't approve to this." I told them. "Then why are you letting him do this. This is your territory. Nick isn't even Alpha yet so you have all the power." The girl asked. "You don't know who he is?" I asked surprised. "No, why should we know him?" The boy said. "Because he is the king. He made the laws you violated." I explained. "So there are laws. We didn't know. How could we know about them." The girl said. "This might help to get you out of here. I will do anything to get you two out of here. I said. They thanked me and I left. Not long after I heard a loud growl, it could only be from the wolves. The trial was about to start and they had to be contained. I ran back to the dungeons and saw them. Big silver chains were used to keep them down. The poor wolves didn't even feel anything from them but let it all happen because they trusted me to get them out. They never knew about laws and don't want to violate an other. I went back and many wolves were making a big court out of an empty room which we often use for temporary events. I helped a bit but mostly thought of how to get them out. The court was ready and so was Victor. The room filled with wolves. They all sat on benches and looked at Victor, who sat on the high stage. Many guards were standing everywhere. Then it was time to bring in the siblings. They were each being held by a minimum of ten wolves and were held apart. The room was silent. "Shift!" Victor said. Nothing happened. He now used his so called king voice to demand them to shift. Again nothing happened. I decided to explain. "They can't change, my lord." I said. "They are born like this." He scoffed. No wolf is strong enough to give birth while in wolf form." He said, waiting for an explanation. I walked towards Victor and stopped to stand right next to the she-wolf. She nodded and let me tell the story. "Their alpha forced their mother not to give birth. She shifted into her wolf form so she could disobey him and not let her kids die." I said. "How come they didn't come to me to tell about their alpha? The whole pack must've suffered from that alpha so why didn't I hear about it?" He said sharp. I looked at the she-wolf. "He demanded us not to tell anyone. He demanded us to keep silent about it. No one could do it because he used his alpha voice." She told me and I told Victor. "You just said her mother was able to disobey his alpha voice in wolf form. Why not now." He said. "We had no way of telling anyone in human form. We couldn't talk with the outside world. Only my mother could disobey, but only in wolf form. In wolf form she had no way of telling anyone about the conditions in the pack." she told me. I again explained to Victor. "Why can she talk to you? Why can she mind link you and not me?" He asked angry. He wasn't buying the story. "She can, but she doesn't want to." I said not waiting for the she-wolf to tell me. She growled at me softly but I ignored her. "Tell me your names." Victor demanded but they kept silent. He slammed his fist on the table in front of him. "TELL... ME...YOUR...NAMES!" He yelled. The whole room shivered and was silent. The two wolves not. They were standing their ground and didn't let Victor demand anything from them. Victor thought of them as bad, killing wolves. They thought of him as a bad alpha. This wasn't good. The she-wolf stood up and walked a couple steps towards Victor. The ten guards were trying to stop her but were pulled with her without any effect. The other wolf followed his sister and also wasn't stopped by the ten guards holding him. Victor was obviously startled by this. "Sam." The she-wolf told everyone in the room. "Jac." The other wolf than said. The were obviously laughing at Victor's startled face. "So you are king?" Sam said. "A king. Afraid of two simple and young wolves." Jac added. They liked trash talking to alphas who try to contain them. "You have killed many wolves. I am not scared of you, just looking after myself." He said trying to look proud. "Did you know we never knew about a king?" Sam said. Good. They listened to what I said. "I never realised we had a king and laws until now. Funny how the laws about killing wolves doesn't apply to alphas. If you kill a mass murderer but he is an alpha, you get sentenced. If the alpha is a mass murderer he doesn't. I don't think you made your laws fair, did you." Sam said. She was a smart girl and listened when she was in the dungeons she listened to every conversation that might could come in handy. "Abusive alphas should also be punished, just like you two." Victor said. "I accidentally overheard a conversation yesterday." Sam said. She looked at me and back to Victor. Straight through his eyes, into his soul. "I have heard that if Nick was the one killing the people I killed, he wouldn't be sentenced. Is that true?" She asked. "Yes, that is true..." Victor said but before he could explain himself Sam interrupted him. "Isn't that a little unfair, king..." She said saying king with a playful tone. They both knew he wasn't her king. Victor was silent. "That's right. It is. We were both maintaining the law but just because Nick is an alpha, and your ally, he wouldn't get in trouble for it while we do." Victor didn't know what to say but wasn't defeated just yet. "I trust Nick to kill only the bad. I don't know you and you could also just kill anyone you don't like." He said. "That's why we don't kill for ourselves. We had three people asking us to kill Colin, the head. One of which is Luna Blossom and two are from that pack directly. They have all suffered from his actions and only then we kill an alpha." Jac said. Victor looked at me and I nodded. "Why did you suffer?" He asked. "He killed my husband." I said. "When your mate gets killed, it hurts a lot on many different levels. You don't know how it feels but many who are here today do know what that feels like. They came from those abusive alphas. If you disobey and abusive alpha, all your loved ones get killed. Some alphas do it one by one and some kill them all at the same time." I explained. "Why do you know all of that while you haven't been in an abusive pack yourself?" Victor asked. "Because I am the Luna of this pack. If you have a problem, if you are struggling with something, you come to me. Many wolves have but many kept it for themselves." I said. "Who told you this?" Victor asked. "If they want to stay anonymous, they can. They came to me with trust and I won't break that." I said. I think about 15 wolves came to me to tell their story. Ten of them stood up. I smiled at their bravery and turned to Victor. "Sam and Jac didn't do anything wrong." I said. Victor turned to me. "Yes they did. They are murderers." He said. "Just like the people they killed. They have prevented many deaths and they will always do. You can't even kill them without you way to strong sleeping dart. I thought you made a law about drugging others. You have good laws, you really do. You also are a good king. But you don't maintain your laws the way you should. You kill people who helped you, but you don't know them. You let alphas live because they know what's best for the pack. You violate your own laws and you shouldn't." I said and I knew he knew the truth. Now it was his job to either say: f**k all of you, I do whatever I want to do, or he will do something about it. Then Sam decided it took him too long to think. "Trust me, you don't want to leave this conversation behind. If you do, you know certain people will go after you." She said. "Are you trying to intimidate me?" Victor said staring at Sam. "No, I'm just warning you." Jac burst out in laughter because of the not even caring way she said that. These twins are the first wolves ever to not be afraid of the king. They actually made the king scared. "But..." Sam continued. "If you do what you know is right and we all know is right, those certain people might serve you and respect you. Serve might be a big word but respect would be a giant step compared to the respect they have towards you know." She said. Jac couldn't stop laughing and it made everyone else laugh with him. "You two aren't afraid of me, unlike this whole room. You should be afraid because I'm now decided over your live and not over theirs." Victor said. "Just keep believing that and you won't keep your stupid power for long." Jac said suddenly really serious. He walked towards Sam to stand in front of Victor. The guards were pulled with him again and they gave up until Victor looked at them strictly. The guards quickly began pulling the chains again but it had no effect. Poor guards. The twins were looking at Victor and he stared back. "Did you know, king, that we have three names?" Sam began telling and walking around Jac to pull her guards with her. Victor listened. "First, Sam and Jac. Obvious right? Then two names the people who we saved call us. We are called Guardian Angels, isn't that lovely?" She stopped to look at Victor. "And thirdly, The Death Twins." She said. "But it all just comes down to if you are kind to others or not. Some experience the one and some the other. It is your choice. Which do you want to meet." She said. Victor was intimidated and now finally showed it. "All right, that's enough." Nick said walking towards Victor. "You two are very scary." he said kind of joking even though it was serious and true. "But I guess you are free since you only maintained the laws. My mother asked you to maintain the law and since she is the Luna, she is allowed to do that. Now please, Guardian Angels, leave the King alone and go back to your rouges." He said. The twins were happy and Jac tried to contain his laughter. He really had a hard time not laughing at every joke that's being said. Victor agreed to letting them free and live their lives. We all knew he felt defeated but he tried to tell he decided to let them free from the very beginning but had to make sure they were good to go. He lied but no one bothered. The twins thanked me and ran away, back to their base and rogues.
