Heart desired

Once and again, it was the same dream. In a deserted land, where blood was flowing like a currant, she stood alone amidst of the corpses of her loved ones. Everyone she knew was dead. All of them laid around her as she stood up in the middle of them, laughing like a maniac. I did this. Amidst of her laugh, she paused and turned because of a sound of footsteps. The person who came behind her halted as he took in her, bloody and all. His face was hidden in shadows, but she had a feeling that she knew him. If you seek, you will perish. Then he was hugging her, whispering something that she couldn't hear. But her laugh stopped as tears began to roll down her cheeks. He clutched her tighter. There was nobody else to reach out. There was nobody else left in her world. If you seek, you will perish. Her eyes snapped open, her breathing slightly heavy and uneven. After calming herself down, she laid awake there, staring blankly at the darkness that surrounded her. She was so used to this nightmare now. After all, she was cursed. If you seek, you will perish. She sighed at the thought, because all she could do was that. Who is that high and mighty girl wandered everywhere in day time? She was nothing but a coward seeking a way out in night. If you seek, you will perish. She was trying. She was so damn tired of trying. Yet, she still tried. Well, there was nothing else she could do. But the problem was, her heart was already seeking.
