CHAPTER ONE
On a bright Monday morning, Evelyn was still fast asleep when the maid came to her room to draw the curtains. Immediately she opened it, Evelyn asked "what's wrong?". The maid answered "Young madam, it's morning and you have to go to school". Evelyn then nodded and asked "Has Becca arrived?". The maid answered "No, young madam, Miss Becca has not arrived", Evelyn then said "okay, prepare the bathtub and my clothes, I'll be there in a while". Then the maid left.
An hour later, Evelyn had gotten dressed, ate breakfast and was ready to go to school. Thirty minutes later, a black sedan pulled up at the front of Sullivan High School. As soon as Evelyn got down from the car, Becca walked up to her and greeted "Hey Evelyn, Good morning, did you sleep well?" Evelyn replied "Yes Becca, I slept well, but why didn't you come to my house this morning ".Becca answered while hooking arms with Evelyn" I'm sorry Evelyn, you know I'm dad's little princess and the driver took a sick leave, so dad said that instead of driving by myself to school, he'll drive me since it's the same destination. so, if you want to be angry at anybody be angry at my dad. "Evelyn then asked" But why didn't you call or text me " Becca chuckled and said" Hello Miss Allen, if you check your phone, you will see that you have 12 missed calls from me and I also sent you a text message explaining the situation but let me guess you were still sleeping." Evelyn sighed and said " Ok mom, let's end the topic " Becca then said "you better". Then they walked to Their respective lockers, After they dropped their phones and took their necessary textbooks they headed to class.
They had English for first class but the teacher took a sick leave. Becca then went to sit with Evelyn and said "I think there's a flu flying around". Evelyn looked at her and asked " Why do you say so? " Becca answered " Good question, you know that I told you that my driver took a sick leave and now the English teacher is also sick, don't you think it's sus ". Evelyn chuckled and said " wow! Becca the great observer. " Becca then rolled her eyes. Evelyn then said " I'm sooo bored. if I had known that the teacher won't be around, I would have brought some snacks or maybe my phone, aaah !!!". Becca asked her " so,what you're trying to say is that I'm boring ? ", Evelyn looked at Becca with a questioning gaze and asked " what do you mean? Are you okay? When did I say that ". Becca answered her " oh you didn't say it directly but indirectly ". Evelyn apologized saying " oh, I'm sorry Becca, so what's happening, is there a party this week, next week or is there any latest gossip. " Becca then said excitedly " Well, there are no parties or gossip but there is a rumour flying around that there's this crown prince from country C, who is a transfer student, he's coming to our class and he's smart and handsome " she said blushing.
Evelyn chuckled and asked " How sure are you?. " As Becca wanted to convince Evelyn
The door of the classroom flinged open and Cyrus-The crown prince of country C, Grandson of the Emperor of the Huan Dynasty walked in.
Everyone was amazed at how good looking he was, Although they were rumours flying around about him but still they were mesmerized Except for Evelyn who quickly got out of Amazement and acted nonchalant but her actions did not escape the eyes of cyrus who found her interesting.
