I needed to rest, but as soon as I lay on my bed, I was tormented by a flood of thoughts that left me restless. I knew there was something wrong and that Sofia wasn't who I thought she was, but my mind was too tormented for me to reason.
I got out of bed, took a cold shower, and sat in my armchair. I liked to stay there, gazing at the horizon and I could stay there for hours.
I'm not sure what happened, but the next thing I knew, I was in an almost completely dark room, lit only by moonlight, with Sofia kneeling at my feet, calling my name.
