'I'm thankful that you still came on short notice, Smith. Have a seat.' I have a prestigious guest now as I am here at one of his properties. I've called him awhile ago when I've learned from a staff that he is here, I need to talk to someone.

'It's my honor to be invited by you, Reiz. Nandito narin naman ako, buti inabot mo pa ako. I need to be in Venice for some important matter, will fly later.' umupo siya sa harap ko, I am at a table sa isang restaurant here in Fortune Island na pag-aari ni Poseidon Israel Smith na kasamahan ko sa Society. 'Mukhang may problema ka. Drinking whiskey on a Saturday morning at this wonderful sunny scenery? What seems to be your boggle, Reiz?'

For years na naging member ako ng Society, itong si Smith ang naging confidant ko lalo na in times that I need opinions ay siya ang una kong nilalapitan. Decision makings are mine all the time but it wouldn't hurt my balls nor my ego kung minsan ay humingi ako ng second opinion sa iba.

'I need your opinion on something that is bothering me these days.'

'About what?' nagsalin narin siya ng whiskey sa unused rock glass and place an ice cube in it. 'Babae? Business? Money oh which I doubt. Tell me.'

'Here in this country, there's this company that I want to merge with. I see this company as an asset to REIZ AIRLINES para mas makilala pa ang company ko.'

'O-kay. So what seems to be the problem now?'

'The f*****g problem is that the owner of this company doesn't want any merging. She said that she don't see any logic why I want the merging. Her company is the best there is here in this country so I am skeptical that her company will be an asset to REIZ AIRLINES.'

'She?! And what company are you pertaining to, Reiz?' he lit his own cigar as I bottom down my drink.

'SKYLINE INTERNATIONAL. The owner is...'

'The lovely but fierce Catherine Wittsburg.'

'You knew her, Smith?'

'I've met her once before. In Australia with her husband William. She managed the company when her husband died. No offsprings. She was given a name in the business industry as the Omniscient Vixen of the Pacific.'

'She's rank 1 here in the country.'

'Kaya gusto mo ng merging?' I look at him and smirk. Umiling siya sa akin. 'Well, what can I say? She's the best in your field here in this country, she dominates the Aviation World here and even in Asia. Have you heard the rumors?'

'What humors?'

'She's planning an expansion in Cebu this year. She will conquer the Philippines with her charm, wit and determination.'

'You seem to knew her so well, Smith.'

'Let's just say that I did some researches, I had a crush on her noon. Have you met her personally?'

'No. Not yet, I'm planning to. My Lawyer did the talking with her.'

'Oh you should meet her. You'll be fascinated with her. She's beauty and brain.' I can see spark in Smith's eyes while he said those words about Catherine Wittsburg. Parang si Dexter lang when he described SKYLINE INTERNATIONAL's owner to me. It got me more intrigue. Anong itsura ng babaeng yun at bakit pati si Smith na mataas ang standards sa babae ay nahuhumaling sa kanya? She must be really pretty, must be really sexy as well. Kilala ko si Smith, hindi siya basta-basta pumapatol sa mga babae kahit pa playboy siya. He has standards and mind you, his type of women are the finest. 'Meet her, Reiz. She will tickle your fancy, will tighten that pants of yours.' he smirk.

'You're smitten by her, am I right? The High and Mighty Poseidon Israel Smith, God Of The Sea is smitten by a widow.' I chuckled with the idea.

'See it by yourself, man. I'm telling you. I am planning to invite her out, may kailangan lang akong asikasuhin.'

'I am also planning to set an appointment to meet her. Hindi pwedeng tinanggihan niya ang proposal ko ng wala akong gawing action. She turned my Lawyer down twice, Smith. And I can't believed it!' humitit muna ako sa cigar ko then had another round of a drink.

'The more you should see her, Reiz. I don't think she's your cup of tea but might as well see her parin. She is sultry in a way that you'll be mesmerize just by her stares. Seductive innocent smile, appealing body and a face of an angel... A very beautiful angel.'

'Mukhang naiintriga ako sa kanya by the way you have said those words, Smith. Ligawan mo na kaya! Baka makawala pa yang "very beautiful angel" mo!'

'I have things to do pa kasi but it came to my mind already. Maybe someday I will meet her again. So back to that problem of yours! Anong problema mo if you've said that you are planning to set an appointment with her?'

'I just don't know how to handle another turn down if ever she will still say no to my proposal.' I grind both my upper and lower teeth.

'Pride, pride and pride!! Men and their f*****g pride! Have you dealt with a lady before Reiz? In a business aspect, that is.'

Umiling ako. 'She is the first.'

'That explains it. Businesswomen are also like businessmen. But they tend to show everyone that they are in control and good with what they are doing. They may be bitchy, hard-headed and snobs but they are also a woman with a soft spot inside them. They are portraying this tough and hard image para maipakita sa lahat that they can also rule the world and can be more superior than men. Nakukuha parin sila sa mga suhol, presents, flowers kasi nga babae parin sila kahit na balik-baliktarin natin ang mundo. Gusto nila inaamo sila, sinusuyo, pinupuri. You've got to impress her, kunin mo ang kiliti niya, alamin mo ang weak spot niya then... Then you will get what you want from her.'

'It's not my life that we're talking about here, Reiz. I am just giving you pointers on what I know will work on current problem.'

'I get it! Hey! Hahahahaha!' I listen to Smith, he is like an older brother to me. Kung ako ay 30 na, si Smith naman ay 34 na this year. He has greater experience than I at alam kong he also treated me as his sibling.

'But seriously Reiz, you have to tame the vixen. Unless you do that, you can't have what you want from her.'

I gaze at him while I analayze what he just said. Tame the vixen. Tame the vixen. Damn! I don't do that anymore! Isa lang ang ginawan ko ng ganon and I don't intend of repeating that again! I look at my drink then look at my friend again, I remember what he told me. Alam kong hindi by the book ang mga sinabi niya, it's a latter part. Maybe he did that stunt before to a certain chick, ano kayang nangyari?

Nag-inom pa kami ni Smith who by now ay may nakakandong ng babae. Well I wouldn't be shock, magkatulad kami eh. He is also a chick-magnet, kaming anim naman sa Society are all chick-magnet. I stare at the chick who is smiling at Smith. Hindi katangkaran, hindi kaputian pero makinis, may pagkabilugan ang mga mata, perfectly shaped lips, her boobs are not that big katulad ng mga nakakasama kong babae, she has an eye that can see through you and a dimple. Ito ang mga babaeng tipo ni Smith, mga ganitong klaseng babae na classy and beauty queen features. Ganito rin ba halos si Catherine Wittsburg? Kaya ba Smith is hooked at her? Mamayang konti pa may naramdaman akong presence sa likod ko, my harlem is here.

'Hi Zeus!'

Kinawit niya ang isang kamay sa balikat ko and lean forward. I immediately felt her soft mounds at my nape. Hinarap niya ako at nag-level sa mata ko ang maputi at makinis niyang tiyan. Naglakbay ang mga mata ko pataas. She have big mounds pero halata naman na retoke. Yung klase na umaalpas na sa suot niyang itim na bikini top now. Umupo siya sa kandungan ko and her big mounds are right infront of me. She smiles at me when I glance at her. I grin wickedly at her and dip my tongue sa gitna ng mga naglalakihang mounds niya. Napatili siya kaya natawa ako.

'Get a room, Reiz!' natatawa rin na sabi ni Smith sa akin. He is busy caressing her harlem's legs.

'Nah! Maaga pa!' I had another drink and puff my cigar.

'Let's take a dip, Zeus!' her hands travel to my chest.

'Tara! Ikaw ba, Smith?'

'Later.'

Inubos ko ang laman ng rock glass ko before I stoop up and remove my white shirt. Naka-blue boardshorts ako and my Oakley shades. Naunang maglakad sa'kin si Divine and I smirk when I saw her back, she's wearing a tback underwear. Kita ang makinis at blemish-free niyang butt. I look at Smith who is also staring at Divine's butt then he whistles. Naglakad narin ako at sinundan si Divine. I can sense at I am drawing attentions at hindi na bago sa akin ang ganon lalo pa't naka-topless ako. I love attentions from the crowd, I love their admiring and desiring eyes. Pero bago pa ako makalayo ay napalingon ako sa likod ko at may isang bagay na nakaagaw ng pansin ko. Far from me sa may mga nakahilerang mga puno ay may isang naka-higang babae who is reading a newspaper. I knew it was a woman dahil maliit ang physique niya at naka-white siyang 2 piece bikini. Sa lahat ng mga matang nakatingin sa akin ngayon, siya lang ang bukod tanging hindi ako tinapunan ng tingin. Divine called my name bago pa ako makapag-isip ng ano pa man.

'Halika na sa water, honey!' sinulyapan ko si Divine and her big mounds na kulang na lang ay lumabas na sa skimpy bikini top niya. Sumulyap pa ako sa babaeng nasa sun lounger bago pinagpatuloy ang paglalakad papunta sa direction ng tubig.

Sa shore, I notice a boy around 9 or 10 years old who have a grumpy face. Nakaharap siya sa basang buhangin na sa tingin ko ay gumagawa siya ng sand castle. When I was a kid, I love making sand castles. Nag-aral pa talaga ako kung paano naging magaling sa paggawa ng sand castle, there is a techniques rin kasi in making a sand castle na matibay and will last long.

'Yaya!! Help me naman kasi! I don't know how to strengthen my sand castle! Please Yaya Mae!!' the kid plead to his companion na naghuhukay sa buhangin.

'Hindi ako marunong gumawa ng sand castle, Ziggy. Maligo na lang tayo sa dagat, halika na.'

'But I want to make a sand castle, Yaya! Nakakainis naman kasi yung tubig! Paano na ito now?!' he look back, maybe searching for someone he knew. When he gaze at the pile of wet sand ay nagsimula ng mabasa ang mga mata niya in frustration. I can see him dahil medyo malapit lang ako sa pwesto nila ng kasama niya.

'Zeus!!' tinawag ako si Divine but my full attention was with the boy who seems to start crying. Mukha talaga siyang malungkot maybe he wanted that sand castle so bad pero wala siyang magawa dahil he can't make one. His shoulder start to shrug na hinaplos ang puso ko. I walk towards the boy na ngayon ay nagpupunas na ng mga mata niya. 'Honey! Ligo na tayo!' napatingin ako kay Divine na medyo naiirita na ang expression.

'Go ahead, Divine. I'll just help the boy with his sand castle. You go swim, I'll just be here.' I pointed where the boy is.

Hindi ko na hinintay na sumagot pa siya, naglakad na ako ulit towards the boy. I shaded him with my shadow kaya napatingala siya sa akin. Ganon na lang ang pagkagulat ko when I saw myself in him when I was like his age during my childhood days. His eyes are just like mine, blue green rin ang mga mata niya. His nose is narrow and proud then he also have a wavy hair.

'Hello.' bati niya sa akin. He is wiping his eyes.

'Hi kid! I overheard that you are having problems with your sand castle, I wonder if I can help you.'

'My Mama said that I should not talk to strangers. And you are a stranger, Mister.' napangiti ako sa kanya. He is a smart and obedient kid. Parang ako lang rin dati.

'Well... I'm Genesis, young man. And you are?' nag-squat ako and extended my hand.

'Ziggy... Ziggy Laroza.' he shake my hand. Laroza? Parehas sila ng surname ni Lovely?

Eh ano naman kung magkaparehas sila ng surname?! kutya ng isip ko.

'What's your Mom's name, Ziggy?'

'That's too personal, Mister. So I am not gonna tell it to you, I barely know you.'

'Oh?! O-kay.' ngiti ko ulit sa kanya and stare further at him when he also smiles at me. He got dimples on both sides and they were same as to mine as well. Could that be possible? Na halos kahawig ko ang batang ito yet we are not blood related? Could that be possible? Napukaw niya ang pag-iisip ko when he speaks again.

'Will you help me build my sand castle, Mister?'

'Yeah sure! Call me Tito Gen, kiddo!' he look intently at me like he's studying me before he nods.

'Call me Ziggy then, I'm not a kid anymore.' he smirk at me pa. This kid is smart and tough. Nice combination and he is a handsome young man.

'Okay, Ziggy! Let's make a sand castle then!'

Habang gumagawa kami ng sand castle ni Ziggy ay nag-uusap kami of random things. It was like I am talking to a grown up. He is talkative pero may sense siyang kausap, matalino ang batang ito. Malalim ang pananaw niya sa buhay na hindi tugma sa itsura at age niya. He wanted to be an Engineer someday.

'When I was a kid, I also wanted to be an Engineer or an Architect.'

'So are you?' I look at him. 'Are you an Engineer now? Or an Architect?'

'No. I've taken up Business Management because that's what my Daddy wanted me to take in college. So I can take care of the business.'

'How does it feel to be like, Tito Gen?'

'To be a businessman? Well it's...'

'No. To have a Daddy, that is.' natulala ako at natigil sa ginagawa ko sa narinig ko sa kanya. Here infront of me is a smart and tough kid na wala palang father. I can't help but to pity him and to look at him more. Hindi ako makapaniwala sa tinanong niya. What happened at walang ama ang batang katulad niya? He doesn't look disturbed or something, parang normal na lang sa kanya ang mga bagay na ganon.

'You grew up with whom, Ziggy? When did your Daddy left?' he look at me expressionless.

'My Mama was with me all the time. She became my Daddy also. Pinanganak ako, wala na siya. I didn't knew what he looks like because Mama doesn't have a picture of him.' maybe he had gotten used to this situation kaya parang balewala na lang sa kanya ang lahat.

'How young are you, Ziggy?'

'9. How about you, Tito Gen?'

'30. You live nearby?'

'Nope. We live in Manila, Taguig City to be exact. Bonding moment lang namin ito ni Mama. Ikaw po, Tito Gen? Are you from here?'

'I am also from Manila. I have a condo in Taguig City and I have a house in Greenhills.'

'Ahh... That lady with you, is she your girlfriend or something? You also have kids?' he glance at the water where Divine is.

'No, she's just an acquaintance. And I don't have a kid, I'm single.'

'Okay.'

'Ziggy?! Yaya Mae?!' sabay kaming napatingin ni Ziggy sa likuran namin kung saan nanggaling ang boses.

'That must be Mama. Do you like to meet her, Tito Gen? She kind, mukha lang suplada. Haha!!'

'Ziggy?!'

'Ziggy! Tawag na tayo ng Mama mo! Baka kakain na tayo! Halika na!' pagyaya ng Yaya ni Ziggy sa kanya. Tumayo siya mula sa pagkakaupo sa buhangin.

'Ma!!' tumayo narin ang Yaya niya pero ako ay nanatili lang sa ginagawa kong castle. I am solidifying the sand so it won't be ruined easily.

'Hindi ka pa ba nagugutom, anak?' malumanay na sabi ng Mama ni Ziggy sa kanya.

'Hindi pa po, Ma. I want you to meet someone, Ma. He is helping me with my sand castle! Hindi ko kasi maayos maigi and he was kind to help me out! Halika Mama! Ipapakilala kita kay Tito Gen! Tito Gen, nandito na po si Mama ko!'

Tumayo ako from where I sat, gumapang pataas ang mga mata ko sa makinis at mala-porselanang legs na nasa harapan ko. She is wearing a creamy white bikini, hindi ganon kalaki ang balakang niya but it was proportion with her legs. Umangat ang paningin ko sa mala-hour glass niyang bewang, she have a small tattoo written at the side of her bikini bottom. Pag-angat ko pa ng tingin ay nakita kong hindi rin kalakihan ang mga mounds niya unlike Divine but it is round and somewhat plump na alam kong totoo at hindi nagalaw ng syensiya. Tuluyan ng tumaas ang paningin ko sa mukha niya. My gaze are nailed at her face na katulad ko ay natulala rin na nakatingin sa akin.

It sound and look so real, namamalikmata ba ako? Infront of me was the man I hid from 9 years ago, the man who hurted my feelings and the man that took my love for granted. Nang makagalaw ako mula sa pagkakatulala ay nadala ko ang mga kamay ko sa aking bibig as my eyes protude at this sight. Naka-blue boardshorts lang siya at shades, his broad chest and shoulders flexed as he stares at me. He is just staring at me na kagaya kong naka-fix rin ang mga mata sa kanya. But there was something in his stare that made me shiver and made my body hair stands. Hindi ko mabasa ang iniisip niya but I can see in his eyes what he is feeling at the moment. It was anger and pain that I see in him. Bakit siya galit? Nasaktan siya, pwede pa! Pero ang magalit siya sa'kin ay hindi ko masikmura.

'Mama! He is Tito Gen! He's helping me build my sand castle!' pakilala ni Ziggy sa'kin kay Genesis. 'Tito Gen! Siya po si Mama ko!'

I couldn't find the right words to say, walang gustong lumabas sa bibig ko at ayaw ko rin magsalita dahil baka lumabas dito ang mga masasakit na salita na gustong-gusto kong sabihin sa kanya. I decided not to say anything and stand still, pinatapang ko rin ang mukha ko. But I can't help myself not to stare at his face na kanina lang ay nakitaan ko ng gulat at confusion pero ngayon ay iba na ang nababakas ko sa mukha niya. His blue green eyes are piercing na parang nagngangalit na dagat.

'Hello, Ziggy's Mom. I'm Genesis, nice to finally meet you.' he flashes a fake and sarcastic smile na hindi ko malaman kung mapansin ba nila Mae at Ziggy. They are just looking at me kasi. The tone of his voice was envelop with hatred, pain and sarcasm.

'H-hello.' hindi ko tinanggap ang naka-extend niyang kamay. Mabilis akong tumingin kay Ziggy at tried very hard to control my emotions right now. Sari-sari ang nararamdaman ko at the moment. Shock, fear, anger, confusion and hatred. 'Ziggy, kumain na tayo. Gutom na si Manang but she doesn't want to eat alone. Nasa cottage na ang mga foods, let's go! Mauna na ako, sumunod na kayo ng Yaya mo!' hindi na ako sumulyap pa kay Gensis dahil sa totoo lang ay bigla akong natakot sa tingin na binibigay niya sa akin.

'Honey!! I'm hungry!'

Napahinto ako sa paghakbang when I heard a female voice na papalapit sa amin. Tumingin ako patalikod at saktong-sakto na nakita ng mga mata ko ang paghalik ng babaeng kulang na lang ay maghubad sa harap ni Genesis. Nakatalikod siya sa akin and it was Genesis that is facing me. I saw how he continuously stare at me while his lips are locked with the woman's lips. Kinamig niya pa ang bewang ng babae kaya napasubsob ang harapan ng babae sa dibdib niya.

'Ziggy! Let's go! Don't stare at them! Yaya!'

Nagmamadali akong maglakad. Umiiling-iling pa ako when I walk fast papunta sa cottage namin. I cannot believe what I felt when I saw Genesis kissing a woman again, para akong nauupos na nadudurog. Sa likod ko ay rinig ko ang pagtawag sa'kin ni Ziggy at ni Genesis. Pinilit kong maglakad ng mabilis kahit pa I am having a hard time walking because of the sand. Gusto kong makalayo kay Genesis, that's the only thing that is inside my mind right now. Instead of walking straight para makapunta ako sa cottage namin ay lumiko ako sa right wing and walk faster.

'LOVELY!!!'

Oh God! He is tailing on me! s**t! Hindi pwede! How could this be happening to me?! Paanong nagkakilala sila Ziggy at Genesis?! s**t!! Nakakainis!!

Sa pagmamadali ko at sa gulo na isip ko ay hindi ko nakita ang isang lalaki, nabunggo ako sa matipuno nitong dibdib. Napapikit ako dahil alam kong pabagsak na ako, I braced myself for the blow of hitting the floor. Pero bago pa lumapat ang katawan ko sa tiled flooring ay isang strong and firm arm held my waist and my back.

'Careful now.' kahit napapikit ako, I know who my savior was. I feel his hard breathing against my face, hinahabol niya ang hininga niya.

'I'm sorry, Miss.' napadilat ako at napatingin sa lalaking nabangga ko. Lalapit sana ito sa akin but Genesis look at his way and stared at him seriously.

'She's fine, man! She's with me!' nahimigan ko ang galit sa boses ni Genesis while he still eyes the man.

'I... I'm... I'm fine. I'm sorry.' I tried to free myself from Genesis touch but his arms won't let me move.

'You should be careful, baby. Maybe next time I won't be able to catch you when you fall.' his blue green eyes are melting me and I've got to stop looking at his face or I might not control myself, baka mahalikan ko siya. I need to move away from him, I need to check myself dahil hindi ako natutuwa sa nararamdam ko ngayon.

'Can I stand?!' tinulungan niya akong tumayo, inalis niya ang kamay niyang nasa bewang ko pero his hand that is at my left arm ay hindi niya ginalaw. 'Excuse me but I need to go! My son is waiting for me!' I said in a more firmer tone, hindi ko siya tinignan. As I step away from him ay siya naman higpit niya pa ng hawak sa braso ko.

'Not so fast, baby.' hinila niya ako palapit sa kanya at dahil sa matangkad at malaki ang katawan niya ay madali niya akong nadala papalapit sa kanya. Nagtama ang mga mata namin at hindi ako nakatagal sa apoy na binabato ng mga titig niya.

'Let go of me, Genesis!' pumiglas ako but he is indeed stronger and massive than me. He is towering me like a hawk towering its prey.

'Anak mo si Ziggy?!' was it regret that I see in his eyes? Nililinlang siguro ako ng paningin ko being this close to Genesis after 9 years of not seeing him.

'Oo!! At Oo kasal ako!! AYOS NA?!! NOW LET ME GO!!' I sarcastically answered him.

'DAMN IT!!' naguguluhan ako sa nakikita ko sa mga mata niya. Kanina gulat then galit then regret at ngayon pain.

'PAKAWALAN MO AKO, GENESIS!! THIS IS HARASSMENT, NASASAKTAN AKO!!!'

Tila ba para siyang nahinto when I shouted at him, he step back and away from me. He look confuse at tulala siyang nakatingin lang sa akin. Ginamit ko itong chance para makatakbo at makalayo sa kanya. I run fast at hinihingal akong pumasok sa cottage namin. Inabutan kong kumakain na sila Manag, Ziggy at Mae.

'Kumain lang kayo, maliligo lang muna ako. Naglalagkit ako.' I force to smile to my son na nagtataka sa akin. Iniwan ko sila sa dining at pumasok sa kwartong tinutuluyan ko. Agad akong pumasok sa bathroom at nilock ang pinto.

Agad na tumulo ang mga luhang kanina ko pa pilit na dinedeadma. Kinakabahan ako. Natatakot ako na hindi ko maintindihan. I am shaking and I am terrified.

Shit! Bakit sila nagkita? Bakit kami nagkita? Paano? Nahalata kaya niyang may pagkakahawig sila ni Ziggy? I curse under my breath. Sa dinami-rami ng tao at lugar sa Pilipinas, bakit nagkita pa kami? What's worrying me ay nakita at nakilala na ni Genesis si Ziggy, maliit lang ang percentage na hindi niya makita ang sarili niya kay Ziggy.

Napapikit ako. The vision of him flashed to my mind. His bare and broad chest is firmer now than before. His hair is disshelved and wavy like the way his hair was noon, he became taller than I remembered him. Pinakiramdaman ko ang puso ko, malakas parin ang kabog nito and I hate what is creeping inside of me. Bakit parang nagseselos ako sa nakita kong halikan nila kanina ng babaeng yun? Bakit parang may kumukurot sa puso ko everytime I remember how his lips roughly brushed that woman's lips?

's**t! GODDAMMIT!'

Gabi na, tulog na si Ziggy sa tabi ko pero hindi ako dalawin ng antok. I am so bothered, my mind is in a turmoil right now and my heart won't let me rest. Napagdesisyunan kong lumabas muna at magpahangin na muna sa tabing dagat. I grab my wallet and my cigarette case saka ako lumabas ng cottage. Dumaan muna ako sa restaurant, marami pa ang tao dun at karamihan ay nag-iinuman. I buy 3 cans of beer, pampaantok lang para makapahinga narin ako. Umupo ako sa may konting liwanag na nasa malapit sa dagat. May mga ilan rin na nandun, some are having bonfires, some are drinking. Binuksan ko ang isang beer at mabilis na ininom ito, I love it when the coldness to beer run through my throat kahit paano nakakagaan sa pakiramdam.
