'What happened to your meeting last Friday with the owner of SKYLINE INTERNATIONAL?' tinanong ko agad si Dexter ng makapasok kami ng office ko. Hindi ko kasi sinasagot ang mga tawag niya nitong nakaraang weekend dahil I was busy in REIZ AIRLINES in England. Ayokong magpa-istorbo kaya wala akong sinagot sa mga tumatawag or nagme-message sa akin.

'She said that she is not interested.'

'What?! Why?!' tumaas ang isang kilay ko sa sinabi niya.

'Hindi daw niya makita ang logic why REIZ AIRLINES wants to merge with SKYLINE INTERNATIONAL. Bakit daw na ang isang well-known aviation company na top 1 sa ibang bansa eh gustong makipagsosyo sa company niya. She is witty, Pare! She concluded that the reason why you ask her for the merging is because her company is at highest rank here in the Philippines. She's something man!'

'f**k!!' paano niya nalaman ang talagang gusto kong mangyari? How did she knew what my plans were? Balak ko talagang makipagsosyo sa SKYLINE INTERNATIONAL dahil unlike sa airport ko in San Francisco and at England, here in the Philippines ay second best lang ang REIZ AIRLINES dahil nasa rank 1 ang company na nililigawan ko ngayon and that is SKYLINE INTERNATIONAL na pag-aari ni Catherine Wittsburg.

'She also asked if you knew her. Ang weird nga eh but she really asked that sa'kin last Friday.'

'Ofcourse I knew her! She is Catherine Wittsburg who's husband was the decease Aviation Legend William Wittsburg. She was named as the Ominiscient Vixen of the Pacific because she is believed to be all-knowing, all-wise, feared by many and strong like a vixen. Why would she doubt my intentions sa merging na yan if she didn't knew me at all?!'

'But she told me to inform you that she will give your proposal another review.'

'Ang arte naman niya!! How could she turned down a multi million dollar offer?! Maganda ba siya para mag-inarte siya ng ganyan?! Baka naman she's a drought old widow who spends long nights by rubbing herself to have an ease!' hindi ko maalis ang maasar sa kaartehan ng Catherine Wittsburg na yun.

'Mali ka diyan, Pare! She's not a drought old widow who rubs herself during long nights to have an ease! Maganda siya, in all aspects! Fair, makinis, simple yet a head-turner, sexy although hindi kalakihan ang mounds and butt niya but she has a thin and very curvacious waist line. She has a very soulful brown eyes na kapag tinignan mong mabuti, you will see her very soul. Her nose is a bit upright but it combines well with her other features. Even her pinkish red lips, tangina pare kung nakita mo ang mga labi niya! It is sensual at parang ang sarap halikan! Nasa late 20s siguro ang age niya, stands around 5'5 to 5'6 feet tall. Mukha siyang isa sa mga Victoria's Secrets Models pare! I wonder what she looks like without those corporate suits on? Parang siyang isang goddess na galing sa Mt. Olympus!' my lawyer looks dreamy.

Late 20s? 5'5 to 5'6 tall? Sensual lips? Brown soulful eyes? Fair at smooth? Hindi kalakihan ang boobs and butt but have thin waist? An image flashed in my mind sa sinabing description ni Dexter. I imagine Lovely sa dini-describe niya about kay Catherine Wittsburg.

'I want you to call her again. Ask her for updates regarding her decision sa pagre-review niya ulit ng proposal. I also want an appointment with her, para makausap ko siya ng personal.'

'If I know, you just want to check her out kung tama ba ang description ko of her sa'yo. Hahaha! Does she trigger your curiosity, Pare?'

'Do what I told you to do at huwag mo akong tanungin, Altamirano!'

'Okay. Kamusta pala ang RA in England?'

'May konti lang na problem but I've already resolve it before I left the country. Nga pala, the company's 20th Anniversary is fast approaching, can I count of you sa invitations? Si Alondra na ang bahalang gumawa, tulungan mo lang siya. She'll also take care about the venue where the Anniversary will take place, foods and recognitions.'

'Okay, no problem. Will the members of your Society be included sa invitations?'

'Send them narin, I just don't know if they can come. They're also busy with their own businesses. Send them invitations anyways.'

'By the way, matagal ko na itong gustong itanong sa'yo.'

'What is it?'

'Nag-confess na ba sa'yo ang secretary mo? I've heard gossips na type na type ka niya.' he is pertaining to my 2 years secretary na si Alondra De Guzman.

'Mawawala siya sa focus kung paiiralin niya ang infatuation niya sa akin. You know how it works with me, Pare. Kaya she should think about it well first.'

'Sabagay. Pero Pare, Alondra is hot. Sizzling hot! Tahimik pero malay naman natin na nasa loob ang kulo niya. She maybe noisy in bed, hahahaha!'

'Tarantado!! Pati secretary kong nananahimik at nagtatrabaho,  pinagpapantasyahan mo!! But just like what I've said, she won't be able to focus kapag inuna niya ang pagnanasa niya sa'kin. She'll just get hurt and eventually I'll lost a very efficient secretary afterwards. And besides, I knew a lot of women who are hotter than her. Nasa kanya naman yun if she will be my willing victim, walang pilitan.'

'What if? Magparamdam sa'yo si Alondra? Na siya ang unang gumawa ng move sa'yo?'

'Pagbibigyan ko siya! She's also a piece of flesh, man. Walang pinagkaiba sa mga babaeng nakakasama ko sa kama. Ofcourse I'll accompany her, mapagbigay akong tao Altamirano. But after her worldly desires, she shouldn't expect anything from me in return. It will all be pure lust lang ang sa amin. Alam niya dapat yun.'

'Natuloy ba si Analyn sa bahay mo? You were in England last weekend. Anong nangyari?'

'Nagpunta siya last night, she sleep over at kanina lang kami naghiwalay.'

'Ikaw na talaga ang active ang s*x life, Pare. Hahahaha! How to be you ba?!' I smirk at him.

'Money and power lang. Money and power at maraming lalapit sa'yo na ikaw na ang mauumay.'

'O eh di ikaw na talaga ang pinagpala! Lahat ng gustuhin mo nakukuha mo! Wala ka yatang hindi nakuha, Pare! Ang swerte mo!' umiling na lang ako sa sinabi niya. 'Balik na'ko sa office ko.'

'Okay. Kindly tell my secretary that I want coffee. Makipag-coordinate ka na lang kay Alondra about sa list of names for the invitations.'

'Copy, Boss.' ngumisi pa siya bago tuluyang lumabas ng office ko.

Lahat ng gusto ko nakukuha ko? Tama naman. Everything that I ever wanted, I ever needed and I ever wish for ay nakukuha ko. But there's this one na gustong-gusto ko at nakuha ko nga pero pansamantala lamang ang itinagal. Nag-iisang pinaglaanan ko ng buong oras, panahon at puso ko. Nag-iisang babaeng minahal ko ng husto na nakuha ko pero nawala rin sa'kin.

Hinarap ko ang laptop ko and check the company's monthly sales report na pinadala sa'kin ng mga Heads ko from England and San Francisco. Tatlong beses ko nang binalik-balikan ang mga nakasulat sa report pero hindi pumapasok sa isip ko ang binabasa ko. She indeed once again successfully invaded my mind. Sinara ko ang laptop at sumandal sa upuan ko. I tilt my head ng kumatok si Alondra and enter my room with my coffee. I look at her way pero imbes na si Alondra ang makita ko, it's Lovely that I see. Ang maganda at maamo niyang mukha, ang magandang hubog ng katawan niya and her heart-leaping smile. Paglapag niya ng coffee sa table ko ay mariin kong hinawakan ang kamay niya.

'Sir?'

Napapikit ako ng mariin at huminga ng malalim. Kapag ganitong inaatake ako ng alaala ni Lovely ay pumikit man ako ay nakikita ko ang mukha niya. Just how I see her when we were young. Agad akong dumilat and saw my secretary's confuse look.

'Get out, Alondra.' I frustratedly said. 'Lock the door paglabas mo.' sinunod niya ako at nang maisara niya ang pinto ay saka tumulo ang luhang hindi ko akalaing meron pa pala kapag naaalala ko siya. I close my eyes again. I saw Lovely smiling back at me, how her eyes twinkles and her dimples shows while she smiles at me.

'f**k!!!' hinawi ko ang table ko at nasagi ng kamay ko ang coffee kaya ito nalaglag at natapon sa carpet floor. 'DAMN YOU LOVELY!!' sinaktan na niya ako pero hindi parin siya maalis sa puso ko. I despise her but it is still her inside my mind. Tinapakan niya ang ego ko when she took the money my mom gave her at iyon ang hindi ko matanggap. Na nasilaw siya sa pera at pinagpalit niya ang relationship namin dahil sa perang yun.

9 years had passed but she still affects my mind this much. She still affects my heart badly. She still affects my system this much. Hindi ako makakawala sa kanya even if it was damn 9 years ago already. I am still caged sa memory niya and hindi ko alam kung paano ako makakawala.

I grab my phone and dialed my personal investigator's number. I have to find her para matupad ko ang plano kong paghihiganti sa kanya.

'Del Valle speaking.'

'This is Zeus Genesis Reiz, Del Valle. I need your service again.'

'What do you want me to do, Mr. Reiz?'

'About sa huling pinatrabaho ko sa'yo, siya parin.'

'Si Ms. Lovely Laroza. Anong gusto niyong malaman about her, Mr. Reiz?'

'I want you to find her again. Magtanong-tanong ka sa SKYLINE INTERNATIONAL since dun ang huling balita ko kung nasaan siya. Gusto kong malaman kung saan siya nakatira at kung anong buhay does she have now.'

'Okay, Mr. Reiz.'

'I want it as soon as possible, Del Valle.'

'Loud and clear, Mr. Reiz.'

Dahil sa magulo na naman rin ang isip ko, I've decided to call it a day. Nagulat pa si Alondra when she saw me sa harap niya at nakatingin sa kanya.

'Cancel all my appointments today, Alondra. I won't be back anymore. Message me if there are important things that I need to know.'

'Yes Sir.' nagbaba na siya ng tingin and I saw here tuck her loose hair strand sa ear niya.

'And Alondra?'

'S-sir?'

'REIZ AIRLINES Anniversary is coming. Do you know when it is?'

'This coming July 1st, Sir.'

'Good. Reserve a venue, make a list of guests and I want our investors and clients to be on the top list. I also want lists of employees who excelled from their departments and areas, they should be recognized.'

'About na venue, Sir. Yung dati na lang po ba? Or a new venue?'

'Just...' my mind is not working, I am loosing focus and I hate it. 'Just enough to accomodate the whole employees plus the other guests.'

Naglakad na ako palayo sa desk ng secretary ko. Paglabas ko ng building ay dumeretso ako sa bahay. Without removing my suit ay kumuha ako ng beer in can sa ref, 1 pack agad consisting of 6. I sat sa leather seat ng living room at inisang inom lang ang isang can. I click a button so the exhaust turned on saka ako nagsindi ng cigar. I puff the cigar long enough na halos kapusin ako sa hininga saka unti-unting pinalabas ang usok. Sunod-sunod akong uminom not minding if it's just early afternoon, salitan ang beer at cigar sa bibig ko. By 7pm ay nakahiga na ako sa leather seat with my hands at my head. I am wasted but my mind still thinks of her.

'Madam President, you've got a call at line 2.' inform sa'kin ni Pearl.

'Who?'

'Atty. Dexter Altamirano of REIZ AIRLINES, Madam.'

'Okay, Pearl. Thank you.' huminga ako ng malalim saka pinindot ang line 2 at inangat ang receiver.

'Good afternoon, Attorney Altamirano. What can I do for you?'

'My Boss told me to call you, Ms. Wittsburg. I hope I haven't interrupted you on anything. This is with regards to his proposal for you, he would like to know if you have made up a decision already.'

Ang kulit mo talaga Genesis! Para kang bubuyog na sunod ng sunod! s**t!

'Oh? Actually I've already made up my mind, Attorney.'

'That's good, Ms. Wittsburg.'

'Yeah. Extend my apology to Mr. Reiz. I won't be accepting his offer. I don't want any merging to take place. I am perfectly fine with my company's status. Thanks though for his offer, but I have to say no to this.'

'Are you sure about this, Ms. Wittsburg?'

'101% sure, Attorney. My apologies again for turning down his offer. I truly believe that many companies will grab his offer the first time he proposes it.'

'Alright. If that is your decision Ms. Wittsburg, I will advice my Boss. By the way, my Boss wants an appointment with you. He wants to meet you personally.'

'I'll ask for my schedule sa secretary ko, patatawagin ko na lang ang secretary ko about my answer.'

'Thank you for your time again, Ms. Wittsburg.'

'Likewise, Attorney Altamirano.'

Matuling lumipas ang mga araw, I've been very busy during those times dahil pinag-uusapan namin ng Board of Directors ang planong expansion ng SKYLINE INTERNATIONAL in Cebu City. Sa sobrang busy ko ay palagi na lang akong ginagabi pauwi at hindi ko na halos maabutang gising si Ziggy. Although he always understands me, alam kong nagkukulang ako sa anak ko. So I've decided to have a break at huwag pumasok ngayon. I have some important things to do pero mas importante ang anak ko, he is my priority although minsan sumasablay ako. Gusto kong lumayo muna pansamantala sa magulo at maingay na Manila kaya napag-isipan kong mag-out of town kami nila Ziggy, Mae at Manang. Nag-impake na ako ng mga gamit namin ni Ziggy, mga panligo at pamalit na damit. I waited for him to wake up, hindi ko siya pinagising kay Mae para mahusto niya ang tulog niya, tinawagan ko na naman ang teacher niya so wala ng problema. We will travel by land papuntang Fortune Island sa Nasugbu Batangas, 3 days and 2 nights lang kasi kaya for the meantime ay ayos narin ang lugar na yun for a getaway. Nakapagpa-reserve narin ako kanina paggising ko ng family cottage na good for 8 persons. Tutal ay mahilig naman sa tubig si Ziggy, for sure he will enjoy sa getaway namin na ito.

While I was waiting for my son to wake up ay pinaghanda ko narin sila Manang at Mae. Tumambay muna ako sa terrace and enjoy the morning sun with a cup of coffee infront of me. I want this getaway to be stress-free and work-free, I even texted Pearl na ayokong makarinig na ano man regarding work at huwag niya akong kokontakin whetever the reasons may be.

I promise to myself that I will be a good mother to my son. Pinangako kong lahat ng kailangan, gusto at naisin niya ay maibibigay ko basta hindi makaka-affect sa health at welfare niya. Nangako rin ako kagabi to myself na babawi ako sa mga overtimes, take home works and missed out swimming classes niya. He knew why I was working hard, he knew to whom I am doing all of this... Ziggy knew na para sa kanya ang lahat ng ginagawa ko. I love Ziggy so much at ayokong nahuhuli siya sa mga latest na meron ang mga friends and classmates niya, ayokong napag-iiwanan siya ng iba. Ang nakakatuwa lang, my son knows how to value whatever it is that I am giving him at marunong siyang umunawa.

'Ma?' napadungaw ako sa loob ng kwarto ko. 'Bakit hindi ko ginising ni Yaya Mae? Friday pa lang naman ngayon, Ma.' I still have classes today, Friday ngayon hindi ba?'

'Yes, it's Friday Ziggy. I didn't go to work either.' tinistis ko ang sigarilyong hawak ko at uminom ng kape.

'Why Ma?' lumapit ako sa kanya.

'It is because, we are going out of town!!'

'Talaga Ma?!' an excited smile appears of his face.

'Yes, kaya kumain ka na sa dining then maligo ka narin so we can leave na.'

'Ilan araw tayo dun, Ma? Where are we going?'

'In Batangas. 3 days and 2 nights in Fortune Island.'

'We're going to a beach?!' nanlaki ang mga mata niya. He love water, he love beaches more than swimming pools.

'Yes.' I smile back at him.

'ALRIGHT!!! WOOWOO!!'

'Sige na, eat breakfast tapos ligo na.'

'Thanks Ma. You're the best!' niyakap niya ako at hinalikan sa pisngi. My heart swell, ang sarap makarinig ng ganon mula sa anak mo.

'I've already packed our things pero if may idadagdag ka pa, ilagay mo narin ha?'

'Yes Ma. I'm excited! Can I bring my board Ma? Baka may waves dun kasi.'

'Sure.'

'Kakain na ako at mamaligo afterwards!! Wahhhh!!! Fortune Island!! Here we come!!'

Napangiti ako sa sinabi ni Ziggy. Masaya siya and because of that, masaya rin ako. Since nakapaligo na ako ay nag-open muna ako ng twitter account ko, may sinusubaybayan kasi akong music band na naka-base sa Los Angeles. Ang Maroon 5. Sobrang fan nila ako kaya talagang inaabangan ko ang mga updates nila. Makalipas ang 30 minutes ay gumayak na ako. Dahil sa ako naman ang driver sa getaway amin na ito, I decided to wear shorts na lang since we are going to a beach resort. Isang white shorts ang sinuot ko, sando na pink at ang gladiator sandals. Sinuot ko muna ang shades ko sa ibabaw ng hair ko then took my wallet, phone at water resistant camera. Nagbabasa ako ng latest na edition ng THE MAN MAGAZINE when I saw my son na pababa ng hagdan. Naka-board shorts siya na green, white sando at sandugo slippers. Napangiti ako seeing him grew up so fast. Dati solo lang ako then he came tapos ngayon I have a 9 year old son na gwapo at mabait.

'I am ready, Ma.' he smile at me again. I can't help but to look intently at his face. He got Genesis' expressive and deep blue green eyes, his father's narrow and arrogant nose, ang magkabilang dimples ni Genesis at even his father's wavy hair. Kapag tinititigan ko si Ziggy ay parang nakikita ko narin si Genesis sa kanya. Only his complexion na fair, his lips at eyebrow ang nakuha niya sa akin. Hati ang features namin ni Genesis kay Ziggy at kahit papaano ay nagpapasalamat ako na ganon ang kinalabasan niya, at least not all Genesis talaga.

'Where's Manang and your Yaya?'

'Pababa narin sila, Ma.' umupo siya sa tabi ko at nilagay sa gitna ng hita niya ang surf board.

'Are you excited with this trip?'

'Sobra, Ma! Last year tayo huling nag-out of town with Tito Louie, I'm happy that we are doing this now. Ma, did you invite Tito Louie na sumama sa atin?'

'Text him. Kayo ang mas close ng Tito Louie mo but don't expect much. Alam mo naman na he is very busy.'

'Okay.' kinuha niya ang cellphone niya sa bulsa at nagsimulang magpipindot.

'Anak? May tanong ako and I want you to answer me as honest as possible.'

'Okay.'

'Galit ka ba kay Mama because I left your father? That I've lied to him and I took the money your Lola gave me?'

'Nope.'

'Ni kahit konti ba nagtanong ka sa mind mo kung bakit wala kang Daddy?'

'Yeah. But, I understand you Ma. Ayoko naman na hindi ka nga nagsinungaling sa kanya at hindi mo siya iniwan pero you are unhappy. Ayoko yung masaya ako dahil I have a complete family but you are not fine with it. I perfectly understand why you did that 9 years ago, Ma. Ginawa mo yun kasi Lola talked to you na pakawalan mo ang dapat na Daddy ko para he will mature and he can fulfill his parents' dreams for him. That's unselfish love, Ma. And when the time comes na ako naman ang nagmahal at mangyayari sa akin ang nangyari sa'yo, I will also let go the girl I love the most. Part of loving someone is letting them have their own lives without you in it so that they will grow and mature. In that way, malalaman natin if what we are feeling is really true. Sabi nga sa nabasa ko, if it is true love then it can wait. Ngayon kung talagang kayo ang para sa isa't-isa ng supposedly Daddy ko, it will happen eventually even if you wanted it or not.'

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Ziggy. How can a 9 year old kid know this stuffs? I look at him in awe.

'Nabasa ko lang yun, Ma. I am still single, don't worry.' napahalakhak kaming dalawa sa huling tinuran niya.

Ang swerte ko talaga sa anak ko. Swerte ako for having Ziggy in my life, that he came in my life. Siya ang nagbigay ng kulay sa mundo ko. It is my son who gave me the reason to strive harder in life and to be stronger. Siya ang dahilan why I want to be successful and I want to live longer. Nag-iisang bagay na ipinagpasalamat ko sa Diyos when I've met Genesis ay ang dumating sa buhay ko si Ziggy. And if I get a chance to live my life once again, I will still choose the path I've been through so it will always lead me to Ziggy.

Nagbyahe na kami. Busy si Ziggy na tumingin sa paligid na dinadaanan namin, his Yaya and Manang was sitting beside him. I glance at him in the rearview mirror, he have grown up to be a handsome and sweet boy kaya sobrang proud ako sa kanya. After few hours ay narating narin namin ang aming destination, we are already in Nasugbu Batangas at Fortune Resort. Hindi lang ang anak ko ang namangha sa ganda ng lugar, maging ako. Napakaputi ng buhangin at kakulay ng mata ni Ziggy ang kulay ng dagat, it was like little Boracay. Nagpunta kami sa cashier ng resort, nagbayad na ako at nabigay na sa'kin ang susi ng cottage na pina-reserve ko.

'Ziggy remember our cottage para hindi ka maligaw at mawala. Don't go too far pati saka isama mo palagi si Yaya Mae if lalabas ka.'

'Yes Ma.' excitement filled his eyes.

Our cottage is spacious, it is almost like a house narin. May sala na ang mga seats ay rattan, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms at balcony na matatanaw mo ang maganda and peaceful na dagat. 

'You like the place, anak?' nakatanaw si Ziggy sa balcony.

'I love it here, Ma. Thank you po ng marami.' he hug me tight. 'Can I swim now, Ma? Gusto ko rin gumawa ng sand castle at magpa-selfie after.'

'Alright.' tumingin ako sa yaya niya. 'Mae, huwag mong lubayan ng tingin si Ziggy. Marunong siyang lumangoy pero alalayan mo parin ha? Marunong kang lumangoy diba Mae?'

'Opo Mam.'

'Matutulog muna ako sandali, kapag nagutom kayo ay magpunta lang kayo sa Restaurant at sabihin niyo ang cottage number natin or name ko.

'Opo Mam. Cottage #5, Catherine Wittsburg.'

'Anak, behave okay? Don't talk to strangers nor go with them.'

'Yes Mama.'

Nang makalabas na sila ay pinagpahinga ko muna si Manang habang ako ay tinanaw muna ang balcony while lighting a cigar. Napangiti ako when I saw my son and Mae na naghahabulan sa buhanginan. Nang umihip ang presko at banayad na hangin ay nakaramdam ako ng antok kaya tinungo ko na muna ang room ko. I drowse off to sleep dahil narin sa pagod sa byahe.

Kinabukasan...

We just finished having breakfast nang magyaya si Ziggy na mag-swimming but since wala pa ako sa mood at gusto ko munang magbasa ng newspaper ay pinauna ko na sila Mae at Ziggy. I am relaxing at a sun lounger, nakasuot ako ng 2 piece white bikini and my shades. I am busy reading the business page nang makarinig ako ng isang matinis na boses ng babae.

'Excited na akong makita si Zeus! Kagabi pa ako hindi napakali sa excitement!' nilingon ko ang babaeng may kausap pala sa phone. Tumaas ang kilay ko when I saw her back, she's wearing a black tback underwear at naka-bra na kulay itim rin. Maputi naman siya kaya lang ay ako ang naiilang sa suot niya, masyadong mahalay.

'I'll meet him laterrr!! Yun ang usapan naminnn!! Papunta na nga ako sa kanya nowwww!!!' tili ng babae na ikinapakla ng mukha ko.

Diyos ko po! Kung makatili akala mo inaano na!! Binalik ko ang mga mata ko sa newspaper na binabasa ko. Teka? Zeus? Marami naman ang nagpapangalan ng mga gods and goddesses ngayon, hindi na kakaiba ang mga may ganoong pangalan. May Venus, Aprodite, Hercules, Zeus at iba pa. Winalang-bahala ko na ang narinig ko at mas pinagtuunan ng pansin ang mas may sense na bagay.
