Chapter 21// They See Me Bowling
The week once again proved to me that it could run by in a fast blur. Yes, this means that it is Friday, two days away from the dinner with my mom. If I said I've given her offer a lot of thought, I'd probably be lying with a big sign saying so on my forehead. I already know I want to stay, but that doesn't mean I'll complicate my relationship with my mom for it.
So, it's last period and I plan to go the mall to buy a new dress. Nothing too fancy, but just enough to distract her disappointment at my answer. If I don't change it, that is.

I walked into one of the various dress stores and proceeded to browse. There were dresses long and short, bright and dull, and plain and filled with patterns. I walked over to a wall covered in pretty red dresses.
