Chapter 20// Whipped Cream Wars
After Dave's arrest, I was told to stay quiet about what happened. It was an exceptionally easy task due to my discomfort with the topic, but it was something I was dying to bring up to my mom. But I'm forced to wait out the three weeks she promised she'd be back by.
So now I spend majority of my time in the house. Meaning, I see more of the family and now I have regular movie nights with Mike and Miguel (Alex's cousins). Not to mention my Saturday tea parties with Addy (Alex's little sister), and my frequent girl talk with Beth (Alex's older sister). As for Alex, we work on our science project scarcely and will probably be done by the due date, if we're lucky. But ever since his kind act of saving me last week, he's been almost extra mean to me.
