Linda reached out for her phone at the very minute she heard it ring, she had been waiting to get a call from Donald who had promised to call her back when she called him, about three hours ago. She has been glancing at her phone screen lying on her office desk very close to her laptop.
It’s been days since she and Donald have last spoken since his number has been turned off. She kept trying his number and sending him voicemails in case he sees it, hoping to get a call back from him.
She was so lucky to have been able to reach him even though they didn’t speak for long as he had asked that he call her back later on.
