Helen had come in the next morning to switch places with Donald so he could go to the company that morning as he had business meetings to attend to at the office.
Donald had promised to be back after work later that day but his mom bluntly insisted to stay with her husband at the hospital, asking him to go back to the hotel and have a good night's rest after work instead.
Donald still remembers his plan with Linda that evening as he was also looking forward to it since it’s been a while and he really misses her. He tried to concentrate at work without thinking much about his dad and Linda.
He kept on checking his wrist watch to make sure he gets to Linda’s office before she closes for the day. Immediately after his last meeting he grabbed his car key and headed straight to Linda’s work
