We all meet in the hallway and head down for breakfast. Today Quinn picked our activities and I know it will be fun. We get downstairs and start eating guys come to our table and start hitting on us.
We all blow them off and just eat, there is a guy staring at Quinn hard and she is trying to avoid his gaze. I sit between their eyes so he can't see her.
" Thanks Beth"
" That him?"
She nods
" I am so scared right now"
" Don't be we got your back Quinny"
" I know"
Dylan and Joanna take their seats from getting more food
Dylan: " Who Is the dude staring daggers at Beth's back?"
" Her mate"
" s**t that sucks"
I laugh
" Got to love this place already"
Quinn flips me off and continues to eat. We finish and head to get massages. Then play in the game room and go sit by the pool. Everyone has clicked up at this point and you can see all the different species. I go grab us drinks and walk past him, he almost bumps me and I squeak falling into the pool.
" Oh s**t sorry" He reaches out his hand
" Don't f*****g touch me asshole"
I get out and walk over to the girls
" I need the f**k off this boat as in now"
They all raise their eyebrows at me and I storm off to my room. This can not be happening he killed my entire freaking species and now I am mated to the asshole. What the hell am I suppose to do, the girls all walk in and look at me.
Dylan: " You want to tell the class what is happening"
" The Vampire King is actually on this damn cruise why the hell wasn't I told that"
Jo sighs
" We told you it was his cruise Beth what did you expect"
" Oh I don't know maybe at the least the f**k not to be my damn mate"
They all gasp
Quinn: " Please tell me he didn't touch you"
I glare at her
" I'm not stupid I practically jumped in the pool to avoid him"
" But now I am totally with your hiding in my room plan"
Dylan sits next to me
" Not happening, he won't know anything unless he touches you it's a big ship who is to say we will ever run into him again."
I nod
" I knew this was a bad idea"
Jo laughs
" Relax Connor Grady has women at his becond call he won't look twice"
" Oh that is reassuring considering I can feel the damn mate bond Jo"
" You will be fine you have us"
I nod and Quinn hands me a drink
" Here drink this and get ready for dinner forget about Connor"
We all meet back in my room to head to dinner when we walk out there is the Royal prick. He turns around,
" Oh hello you must be the girls in the other royal suites I am King Connor Grady"
" We are aware"
He puts out his hand and the girls shake it one by one introducing themselves. I step back and look at him like he is stupid.
Jo: " Sorry Beth is a Germaphobe"
He nods
" Nice to meet you ladies enjoy the cruise" He walks in his room
" You have got to be f*****g kidding me"
Jo: " Relax everything will be fine lets just go eat."
Quinn
We walk into the dining room and I am savagely pulled to the side.
" Who are you"
I stutter
" Um..umm. I'm Quinn"
He grabs my head in a kiss and my knees go weak. I grab his head and kiss him back needing.
He breaks away
" Jacob Savone" Goddess he is so close and so damn hot, Brown hair hazel eyes and a chiseled jawline with a small scar on the left side of his chin.
" So what are we doing?"
" Guess we better figure it out before this goes any farther"
I nod
" Do you want to reject me?"
I nod again
" I'm warning you now I won't accept it"
" Why the hell not?"
" Because you are mine"
Dylan walks up behind him
" Back off the ginger asshole I am not in the mood."
He turns around
" Back off b***h"
" Dylee don't it's fine"
He looks at me
" Girlfriend?"
" More like sister, come on I'm hungry"
" We arn't done with this conversation Quinn"
" We are right now Jake I'm hungry and there is no point in arguing with you if you won't accept the rejection anyways"
He nods and follows us to the table a few of his friends join us.
" So this is eclectic a bear a wolf and 2 Vampires what's the story"
Dylan smiles
" Broken family, not that it is any of your business"
Jo hits her shoulder
" Dylan be nice"
" Why?"
Beth: " Because we are stuck with the big bad bear he obviously isn't rejecting Quinn"
He nods
" Damn right about that"
I roll my eyes his friends finally introduce themselves and we all start eating dinner. I look at Beth and follow her eyes to a woman that is all over Connor a tear falls from her eyes.
" Beth do you want to go back to the room?"
She nods We get up and Jake grabs my hand
" Exactly where do you think you are going"
" My room, you can come if you want I guess"
He nods and we all walk out of the dining room Dylan looks at me
" Do I need to move suites?"
I shake my head
" Of course not Dylee why would you"
She looks over at Jake
" It will be fine, we both have our own rooms and he doesn't have to stay"
He chuckles
" The hell I don't, I stay with you or you stay with me but I have a roommate"
Dylan rolls her eyes
" No s*x in common area's and don't even think about hurting her"
" Don't plan on it Dylee"
She pins him to the wall
" Only she can call me that assface don't ever call me that"
He nods and I pull Dylan off of him
" Stop it, Would you two get along Goddess"
Dylan walks off joining the other girls Jake smiles at me
" She's protective"
" She is my best friend what do you expect"
We walk to the suite and Dylan goes in Jo and Beth's room.
Dylan
We sit in the hot tub for a few hours then Beth grabs her stomach
" you have got to be kidding"
I get out and Jo and I help her to her room I go to my suite and grab Quinn.
" 911"
She nods her and Jacob are sitting on opposite ends of the couch and it looks really awkward between them.
" I will be back my room is um to the left"
He nods and we walk out
" Thanks that was weird"
I nod
" Looked like it"
We walk into Beth's room and she is on her bed crying. I walk out and grab the vodka.
" Here MaryBeth this will numb your pain"
She grabs it and starts chugging
" It's official I am going to become an alcoholic"
Jo laughs
" We will figure it out Beth just give it time"
She falls asleep after the bottle is gone and we all walk to the common area
" What are we going to do?"
Quinn sighs
" Keep her away from Connor at all costs"
I nod
" This was a really bad idea you guys"
Jo
" It will be fine we will figure it out"
" You two go to bed I will stay with her"
We nod and head back to our room I take a shower and lay down in bed this was not how I wanted our family Cruise to go.
