I wake up in a meadow this place is beautiful I have never seen this before.
" Stella come on dinner is ready"
I turn seeing a small girl run past me she looks at me and smiles
" Hi daddy"
I look at her goddess this is the most beautiful little girl I have ever seen
" Stella come on!"
I chuckle
" She's fine baby"
I turn and she smiles at me
" Now you join us"
I chuckle and she runs in my arms cuddling into me.
" I thought I lost you"
I nuzzle into her
" I'm here Marybeth I'm right here"
She looks at me and smiles before her lips crash to mine. I wrap my arms around her tighter. I lean my head to hers
" Baby what is this?"
" My memory of the meadows where I grew up"
" We are in your head?"
" We are sharing a dream state Your in a coma Connor and so am I"
" Wait what how?"
" Someone attacked me the same night they did you"
" Okay but I have never heard of this"
" It's a flying species thing Connor I'm um I'm not..."
I cut her off kissing her
" Shhh I knew you were not a full vampire so your dragon?"
She shakes her head
" Your Faye so this was all a set up me falling in love with you it was a plan to get me off guard wasn't it!"
I set her down fuming
" Wait what?'
" Your people betrayed everyone to befriend the Hunters to be the superior species you are such a b.itch the Queen has been missing are you the real queen is that what this is?!"
" Goddess do you hear yourself if I was a Faye Queen why the hell would they attack me! And FYI asshole you can only share a dream state with your mate!"

She rolls her eyes

" Because I didn't want you to know you imbecile for this reason look at you judging a species once again off of actions of certain ones!"
," Goddess would you get off the trip I did it okay I k.illed the sprites I did it!"

she grabs the little girls hand walking off and I stand there staring at her backside.
I sigh finally following her to a small cottage she is in the kitchen making a plate of food. I wrap my arms around her waist kissing her neck
" I'm sorry baby I shouldn't have been such a d.ick"
She sighs leaning against me
" You don't know how bad I wish this was real"
" It can be baby just let me in"

" What are you hiding from me baby what is so secretive with you"

She turns nuzzling into me
" And I need to feed our daughter"

She giggles against me
" A dream of mine that things could really work between us"
" They can baby they will I will do anything for you Marybeth"
she sighs

I kiss her head
" Even more beautiful my love"
She feeds our daughter and then we head to bed I need to find out what is happening but right now I can't let either of them out of my sight and I can't let her out of my arms I have wanted this for so long.
