She finally found me a it's the sweetest most intoxicating smell in the world. I withdrew myself from everything except spending time with my family. I don't even eat dinner in the grand hall anymore scared I will find her.
I am on the treadmill sweating my ass off and her Amber eyes are boring holes into my body. Goddess she is so hot, Blonde hair athletic tone muscles for days with sweat dripping off of them and a perfect tan that makes me want to soak myself with how yummy she looks.
" Hey hot stuff"
" Um Hey...."
" I have been looking for you everywhere kind of hard to sort through like 200 Women on this damn ship"
I shrug
" Maybe but looks like you found me"
" I'm Lilah"
" Dylan" I jump off the treadmill and stand Infront of her She smiles and I grab her head in a gut wrenching kiss. She backs me up to the wall and we fight for dominance as we ravish each others lips. I finally pull away
" Mine or yours?".
" Yours"
I grab her hand and pick up her bag taking her up to my Suite.
" Um wow is this all your's?"
I shake my head
" I share it with my best friend and her mate and down the hall are my two other besties"
She nods
" Fancy"
I smile and take her to my room
" So where you from Dylan?"
" Um here and there"
" So your a rogue?"
" Not technically I am from the lost pack of Jundena"
" You?"
" Um same actually my parents and I moved around a lot after that but never found a home like the one we had there"
" My umm parents died during the attack"
" I thought the only ones that died were the Alpha and Luna?"
I nod
" Are you serious right now you are Alpha of a pack why aren't you claiming that s**t?"
" Because once I do the same people who killed my parents will come after me" I pull her on my lap
" And now after you and I am not letting that happen" She giggles pulling me into a kiss. I flip her on the bed and devour her. Slipping off her sports bra and throwing it to the floor. She slips mine off as we keep kissing.
The door swings open
" Hey Dylee did you....Oh s**t sorry"
She walks back out and I roll my eyes helping Lilah to her feet
" Dinner is soon are you hungry?"
she nods
" Mostly for you but I could eat dinner as well"
I smile pulling her into another kiss
" Go get your stuff beautiful if you want to move in that is"
She smiles
" Like I would let you get rid of me babe"
She throws her sports bra back on and walks out the door. I throw mine on and follow after her. The girls are watching us intently.
Beth: "Nah nah nah nah before you leave who are you and why are you messing with our Dylee?"
Lila turns to her
" Her mate and you would be?"
Jo: " Her adopted family"
Lila nods
" Oh um okay"
I walk up and wrap my arms around her
" Baby that is Joanna, Beside her is MaryBeth, and the one on the right is my best friend and suite mate Quinn"
They all say hi and Lilah smiles
" Sorry I saw a bunch of women and may have gotten snippy"
Beth laughs
" understandable sweetheart, but um welcome to the family and congrats."
She turns around and Kisses me
" I'll be back babe"
I nod and she leaves I sit on the chair facing the girls.
Quinn: " So when did this happen?"
" Been avoiding it for a while now honestly"
Beth smiles
" Told you it was a mate"
Jo: " You would know"
Beth: " Says the one who has been avoiding both of hers for 3 days"
Quinn: " Sorry both?"
Jo nods
" Freaking Dragons"
I laugh
" Goddess are we that messed up we avoid our reality?"
Beth laughs
" I think you guys are lucky at least you get to have your mates"
Jo nods
" Your right Beth maybe I should go to dinner tonight and face the music"

" Kind of glad I did, Beth did you do your reading thing yet?"
She nods
" Yup your good and so is sunshine over here she just needs to let fate take it's toll"
" Ever think about doing that yourself Beth"
" Every single day but it is not safe for any of us for Connor Grady to find out who I really am"
I nod
" I'm going to go get ready for dinner see you ladies in a few"
Joanna
I take Beth's words to heart she is right I am able to have my mates but I am being a coward and hiding from them. Yet she faces Connor everyday know things will never happen between them.
I walk back to my suite with her and hug her when we get inside
" I'm so so sorry I found my mates Beth I would totally reject them to stay around you if they don't let me"
She shakes her head
" Don't be silly, we have had 400 Years together it is time for you to be happy and raise a family of your own"
" Do you wish you could Beth"
A tear falls from her eye onto my shoulder
" More than you know JoJo but I don"t know it it will ever happen between Connor and I"
I nod
" I know Beth"
We meet the girls in the hall and walk downstairs together to the Grande Hall
I walk straight toward my mates and they both turn grabbing me.
One is behind me the other Infront of me kissing each side of my neck and nuzzling me.
" Um I'm Joanna"
The one Infront looks at me
" Octavius"
.The one behind me smiles in my neck
" Ondele"
I smile
" So um I have no idea what to do here"
Octavius grabs my head kissing me and my knees fall from under me I feel like my body is on fire. Ondele spins me around and starts kissing me it tingles and makes me giggle in to the kiss.
Octavius: " Come on sit down we have been trying to find you for days"
I nod
" I know I was scared so I avoided you guys, but I actually sit at the Captain's table with the Vampire King and my friends."
" Is that okay if we sit there?"
Ondele nods
" Yeah Connor is a good friend of ours"
" He is?"
Octavius smiles
" Rulers have to stick together baby"
" Rulers"
" We rule our thunder"
" Come on let's go eat dinner"
I can't help but glance at Beth through dinner she has wiped away tears at least twice. I see Connor go to say something to her but it is like he is lost for words.
CONNOR
All of Marybeth's friends have found their mates. I watch as tears escape her eyes every now and then. I want to wipe them from her and hold her in my arms but I know she would just push me away. I haven't given up my chase for her in fact I have intensified it our final port Forward at SanValla I plan on making my ultimate move with her. Maybe even being able to touch her for the first time.
