Eric's POV I hummed as I leaned against the tree. It's branches stretched up so high in the sky. It provided lots of shade, so I could understand why the kid would have lunch here. I closed my eyes as the wind rustled the trees.  "What are you doing here?" a voice asks and I opened my eyes then raised an eyebrow. The same kid that paid for his cousin to get out the cell was standing in front of me looking confused. Him? He's the rich kid? I got off the tree crossing my arms.  "Well I'm your guard kid." I said making his eyebrows knit together before rising and he groaned.  "I told mom I didn't need anyone to watch over me." he sighed looking down. "Yeah, it seems your more mature than your cousin who I assume is older." I said and he nodded smiling. "True, and thanks." he said and I nodded. "You can go now." he said shooing me and glanced around making me raise a eyebrow. "Sorry, but this was a job for me to do. I'm staying." I said and he huffed crossing his arms. "You said it yourself that I was mature." he said and I shrugged. "A job is a job, and yes I did but you can act as mature as you want, your still a kid." I said and he glared. "Stop calling me a kid, my name is Oliver." he said. "Well Oliver, I'll be watching out for you. And my name is Eric." I said and he crossed his arms fuming at me. "Fine, whatever." he huffed and uncrossed his arms before walking over to the tree then sat down. I blinked at him as he stuffed his face with his sandwich. He turned to me glaring. "Hmph ah prablam?" he asked and I laughed. "I think you do, you can't speak right. And your talking with your mouth full." I said and he turned away from me blushing as he swallowed. "Sorry." he mumbled as his face was a darker shade of pink. "No need to be to me, but the world that saw what was in your mouth." I said and he glared as I smirked. "So what's your next class kid?" I asked and he grumbled saying to not call him a kid. "Why?" he asked getting a apple out to eat. "So I can walk you to class." I said and he bit into the apple roughly. Poor apple. "Look, I don't need a babysitter. I can walk on my own to my class by myself." he said after swallowing. "And I don't really babysit, I'm Your guard. There's a difference." I said as he finished off his apple. "Doesn't sound like it to me." he said walking to a nearby trashcan to throw away his trash then glanced at me making me slant my eyes at him. He ran and I took off after him. He's like the antelope and I'm the lion. I grumble as he race across the field before opening the doors and going into the university. I growled then smirked and took my phone out to call his mother.  **** "His class should be ending real soon so he will be heading to his next class very shortly." the short lady told me as we walked down a hall, while I put the visitor sticker on my jacket. I smirked as I saw the familiar dark chocolate brown hair. When he turned and saw me he huffed. I smirked more and turned to the short lady. "Thanks, I think I can handle myself now." I said and she nodded before walking off and I walked over to Oliver. "What are you still doing here?" he hissed and looked around quickly pulling his books close to his chest. "Why do you think I'm here?" I asked and he rolled his eyes pushing past me. "To be a stalker." he said and I chuckled following behind him. He huffed again frustratedly before turning around to glare at me which made me smirk. "Do you mind?" he asked and I raised a eyebrow grinning. "No, not at all." I said and he let out a breath narrowing his eyes at me. "Sorry kid, I'm your bodyguard, there's nothing you can really do to keep me from doing my job." I said shrugging. "But making my job easy wouldn't be too fun now, would it?" I asked crossing my arms smirking as he glared before turning his back towards me. "Your a terrible body guard and co-" he started to say but slipped in a puddle completely ignoring the sign that said watch out, it's slippery and began to fall backwards. I caught him and his eyes widen looking up at me breathing hard. I could feel his heart beating rapidly. "You were saying?" I asked with an eyebrow raised smirking but he only stood up and pushed me away grumbling. "One, I'm not a kid. I'm turning nineteen in March." he said and I shrugged.  "My kid is already nineteen and going to get married." I said making him huff before he started walking again and I followed. This time he didn't complain. Well he didn't really say anything. He eventually walked up to a class and opened the door before closing it in my face. I sighed tipping my hat up. He's more of a moody teenager if you ask me. He's still all over the place. But he is still young.  "Excuse me." a older male said, he looked like the professor. Hm, so the kid gets to class early, earlier than the professor. "Sorry." I said moving out his way and he opened the door and walked in.  **** I hummed waiting by the classroom as students passed by or walked in the class. Some glanced my way and some ignored me. "It's you." a familiar voice said and I looked up smirking. "Ryder, right?" I said getting off the wall and he glared. "Yeah, bye Mr.Cop." he said walking past me then I looked him up and down before grabbing his arm. "Empty out your pockets." I said and his eyes widen as students stopped to stare. "Keep going, nothing to see here." I said and some students left but when the others didn't I narrowed my eyes growling lowly that made the rest flee. Ryder grumbled as he pulled his ar, away from me before emptying his pockets. A box of cigarettes, his phone, a lighter, keys, and spray paint cans. "You shouldn't be smoking." I said taking away the cigarettes making him glare. "Give them back." he said growling. "Or what?" I said also taking his lighter and he huffed looking away. "What's with the spray paint cams for?" I asked and he mumbled. "Speak up." I said and he glared at me. "A prank." he said making me roll my eyes and take the spray paint cans away also. "Phone and keys you can keep." I said putting them in his hands. He stuffed them in his pockets before giving me one last glare then walked off. I shook my head sighing before the bell rang. "Time for attendance." I heard the professor say as I leaned against the wall waiting for the class to be over. After most of the names were called, I still hadn't heard him call Oliver. I furrowed my eyebrows confused but then the professor finally called it. "And lastly, Oliver Ryan?" the professor said. Ryan? As in like Lenny's last name Ryan? "Here." I heard Oliver say.
