Chapter 4

Alexandro POV

It's been 2 months since I had the best time of my life in years. I couldn't move on after my wife left, so I surprised myself that night when I actually slept with Jessica but I still don't regret it and that night has been replaying in my mind every day since then. Our bodies pressed against each other, sweat dripping from our bodies showing that we had s*x more than once.

Since that night has been on my mind, it started to change the way I acted. I haven't shouted at any of my employees in a while and I can tell that they are both surprised and suspicious of what is going on with me. I space out all the time, during meetings and even when I have my weekly dinner with my parents. My mom being the woman she is figured something was wrong with me kept asking me questions but gave up when she realised I wasn't going to tell her anything.

Speaking of my parents it's that time of the week for our dinner. I got out the car and walk up the steps to my parent's house. Our whole family is rich seeing as my mom has a fashion line called sissy boy and my dad used to be the owner of Rod Inc. which I now own.

He knocked on the door and waited. The door was opened by his smiling mother, she enveloped me in a hug as soon as she knew it was me "Aww my baby is home." I sighed "Mom it's been a week not a year can I just come in now?" "Of course." I walked into the house and saw my dad in the kitchen reading a book. "Hey dad" I said sitting down, he put down the newspaper "OH hey son. How's work?" "Its okay dad same as always"

My mom came in with the food and we immediately started eating. "So Alex how are you?" "I'm good mom same as always" I knew she knew I was lying but hey I'm not saying anything. After an hour had passed on mild converstaion"Alex when are you going to find a nice woman and settle down, and give me a grandchild I'm getting old as is!" I choked on my food, I grabbed my glass of water and downed it quickly. I cleared my throat "Mom you know I'm not ready after what happened." She sighed "But I know there is a women in your life, you act differently" I looked at my dad for help only for him to choose her side "Your mothers right Alex, I would like to see my grandkids before I die" "I will think about it, but I have to go. Bye mom, dad see you next week"

I stood up got into my car and drove home.

Jessica's POV

6 Months later

It's been 8 months since I have last seen or spoken to Alex. I did go to his office to tell him but the receptionist said that he was busy and that I was too ugly and fat to see him, it's safe to say I never went back as I had felt like killing myself. I tried finding his number but then I saw a new picture of him every week on different magazines either kissing some blond bimbo or grabbing the ass of his latest conquest. It is safe to say the Alex I once knew was the worlds ultimate player. I often wonder if I had contacted him sooner if he would still be a player or would he be with me.

Besides that life for me had moved on, I had opened up a new hotel and tomorrow we are having a grand opening party. So here I am standing in the mall with Sabrina next to me going on about 'how sexy ben is' who is ben you might ask? Well he is Dr Evans, they have been dating for 6 months and although I envy they're relationship I'm still happy for her cause I know that tomorrow at the grand opening he is planning on proposing to her.

"Jess lets go in there" I let her drag me as I was too tired to give a s**t, being 8 months pregnant is not easy especially alone, I mean Sabrina and Ben were there to support me but I just wish that someone could love me like a partner should. Shaking my head I watch as Sabrina throws dresses in my direction, I pick the up and head into the dressing room. After 5 dresses I find the perfect dress. It's a long sleeve, floor length, bright red dress that has an open back. "Holy s**t" Sabrina said, she started jumping up and down chanting 'yes'.

And that's how I found the perfect dress.
