Chapter Nine

Nick’s POV

It’s been two weeks since we marked each other, and everything fell apart. Two weeks since she’s spoken to me. Two weeks since I’ve touched her. Since I’ve kissed her. Held her. I can’t sleep or eat. I can’t think. I need her.

I wait for Luca to leave her room. He has training early this morning. This is my chance to get her alone. After he leaves, I walk to her door opening it as quiet as possible. “Babe did you forget something?” I hear her angelic voice ask. Then she sees me.

“Please don’t kick me out. Okay just talk to me please Elle. I’m dying here. I miss you so much baby. I can’t eat or sleep. I can’t do anything.” I am on my knees in front of her at this point. Begging. I’m the Future Alpha of the largest and strongest pack. Yet here I am on my knees begging for forgiveness.

She looks at me with bags under her eyes and tears running down her cheeks. I stand up and quickly wipe away tears. Goddess, I have missed touching her. The tingles I get every time out skin meets. “You hurt me.” She sobs.

“I know baby. I was an i***t. I am so sorry. I should have waited for you. I should have never said any of those things to those girls. I was young and stupid. But I can’t take any of it back, but I can try to make it up to you for the rest of our lives.” I say with a small hopeful smile.

“I missed you so much Nick. I have cried every night for two weeks. I could feel your pain to. I know you regret everything. I just needed some time. But I can’t stay away from you anymore and I don’t want to.” She then jumps in my arms and kisses me with a hunger I have never felt before.

After the shock leaves me, I quickly kiss her back. I swipe my tongue along her bottom lip asking for entry. Which she denies. I pinch her ass causing her to gasp. I use that as my way in. I taste every inch of her mouth and she tastes divine. She moans into my mouth and we pull apart in desperate need for oxygen. “Elle, I know you don’t believe me. But I need you to know I do love you baby. I always have. I swear to the moon goddess herself.” She looks me in the eyes, looking for any signs that I’m lying but sees none and smiles.

“I’ve missed that smile love.” She laughs and nods in agreement. “I love you Nick. Please don’t hurt me.” “I promise I will do everything in my power to never hurt you again.” I say wholeheartedly.

“Lookie here. Looks like someone made up.” We both smile at the intruder. “Hey man. I’m sorry that I hurt our mate. I won’t do it again.” Luca smiles at me, “If you do, I get to put you in the dungeons this time.” He says with a smirk, but I nod in agreement.  “Since you haven’t seen our mate in two weeks, I’ll ley you guys have some time together today and tonight.” He says and then looks at our mate, “And you my beautiful mate I will see in the morning.” He kisses her and walks out towards his room.
