Chapter four Olivia's pov Last night, it was tough for me to sleep; I couldn't stop thinking about Daniel "My house needs redecorating," I said as I opened the car door. "Why would you say that," Martha asked as she started the engine and drove straight to the office "Everything reminds me of that asshole," I said, and Martha burst into a fit of laughter "I'm so glad that you've finally realized that Daniel is an asshole who doesn't know good from bad," Martha said as she took a glance at me I called him an asshole because I wanted to believe that he was indeed an asshole, but deep down I still cared "I distaste that boy so much", Martha continued "It's enough, Martha." "What’s wrong, Olivia," Martha asked "Let's stop talking about him," I said; Martha unintentionally acted like Daniel; he was always like that whenever he wanted to take sides with her; he didn't want to offend her and always wanted her to feel special The car finally came to a halt in front of the company. I checked the time on her phone and saw that it was 7 am I was early "Don't be too excited, and I bet Ethan is already at the office now?" Martha said, "But I came early, and that's what I'm excited about," I said "Are you nervous," Martha asked; she noticed my uneasy behavior, "Yes, of course, who wouldn't be" I whispered as we walked into the company building; Martha chuckled and gently touched my back in a reassuring way "Take care and please remember to breathe," Martha said before they parted ways. I entered the elevator, and it took me to the seventh floor. I walked out of it and saw a tall, well-built man standing at the door of an office I assumed that is Ethan’s office. A beautiful girl walked towards me "Hi, my name is Hannah, and you must be the new PA," The girl said and smiled at me "Hi Hannah, my name is Olivia." "Mr. Ethan is in the office right now, and he doesn't like to be disturbed at this hour," she said as she walked close to a desk, and I trailed behind her, "Mr. Ethan loves early morning coffee; a coffee should be served on his table at exactly eight o clock", Hannah continued "8 o clock?" I asked. That is the time I need to be at the office that means that I can't even be a minute late "Exactly eight o clock, not one minute late," Hannah said, "Shouldn’t you be jotting this down," Hannah asked "No, I'm good", I replied; these are easy things, early morning coffee at precisely eight o clock, "That's easy," I thought "Mr. Ethan hates when someone is beating around the bush; whatever you have to tell him, just tell him straight", Hannah advised "After informing him of his schedule of the day, 10 minutes before a meeting begin, remind him", Hannah "You know Mr. Ethan is a very busy man, and the reason why you should remind him about it isn't that he forgets; no, he never forgets" Hannah smiled "Then why should I remind him" I inquired "As I said, Mr. Ethan is a very busy man, and he might want to cancel the meeting when it's not convenient for him to attend", Hannah informed her They were a lot of things that Ethan didn't like, Hannah went on and on about them; I started regretting why I didn't start jotting it down, but I was confident that I wouldn't forget I was also glad that Hannah took her time to explain to me about my job, Hannah also answered every question with a warm smile "Thank you," I said, and Hannah smiled at me again "One more thing, always wear a smile on your face; please quit frowning. It's not that Mr. Ethan cares, but it seems politer" Hannah paused and took a brief look at me before shifting her attention back to the files in her hand and trailed again to the door of another office not too far from Mr. Ethan's office "This is your office, Olivia" The room was big and neat. I couldn't believe that I would be working here from now on. I loved how Hannah related to me while telling me about the job. I turned to Hannah and asked “who is the guy standing close to Mr. Ethan's door?” "This is his bodyguard, Nicholas," Hannah said out loud to Nicholas hearing, "Hello," Nicholas said with a straight face "I'm Olivia," I said, introducing myself "Nice to meet you, Olivia," Nicholas said "It's almost eight o clock; you need to get Mr. Ethan's coffee ready; there's a coffee machine over there," Hannah said before I could reply Nicholas I hurried to the Coffee machine, and I couldn't believe I was about to face my boss. It was terrifying in a way for me because my new boss is very strict. While she was talking to Nicholas, I was wondering why Mr. Ethan would need a bodyguard to stand by his door, and I also asked if Nicholas was going to stand there all-day "Olivia, Mr. Ethan likes his coffee hot", Hannah informed me as she was making the coffee I decided not to add sugar to it because, according to the fictional stories she read, people like Ethan hate sugar in their coffee, but then again, all those stories are fictional, and I don’t want to make a mistake by comparing this situation with a fictional story I knocked on the door and pushed it open, it was precisely eight o clock, and I had already made Ethan's coffee. I added a little sugar so that it would taste sweet. Moreover, Hannah didn't give me any detail about the type of coffee he likes I entered the office only to face Mr. Ethan; he was busy on his laptop. I held his coffee in my right hand and a piece of paper in my left hand
