Author's POV: It's midnight, the darkness is everywhere and people are scared to come out of their houses. Because of one person, who doesn't show any mercy to anyone. If anyone messes with him then they are dead. He doesn't even tolerate the slightest mistake. A ruthless criminal, who did uncountable murders and crimes, has unwilling power. The MAFIA KING of Thailand. A female figure is walking towards a dark alley with the help of a stick in her hand and the other hand is full of dog food, she was carrying those for her best friend Pihu (her dog). She is walking as fast as she can. She knows it's late but what can she do? Her best friend is unsound. At least for him, she had to do this. Veidehi's POV: I am trying my best to get back early because Pihu is alone at home. I am worried for him, he is waiting for me. I know but it's hard for me to walk without him. I am struggling to walk trying not to fall on the road. But how much even I expect from a blind and useless person like me though! Anyway, I have to hurry. Pihu might be waiting. I was walking at a fast pace but I stopped when I heard the weak plead of a man "please don't, help me, someone, please" seems like someone is in trouble. What should I do? I can't help though. Maybe I should just leave. Don't be so cruel Veidu, come on, have you forgotten what happened with you? Don't be like this. I sigh and follow the voice but I tripped and fell. I drop my stick somewhere, I hold the bag of food tightly and I groan when my body hit the ground I spread my arms to find my stick but a deep male voice makes me stop on my track. "Who are you?" I look in the direction of the voice came from, not knowing what to do. "I heard some noises so I thought of following the direction, someone might need help," I said again trying to find my stick. Author's POV: She was trying to find her stick not knowing someone was staring deeply at her. His guards were about to shoot her but he gestured for them to stop, he grabbed her stick and walked toward her, he pull her up by holding her arm, put her stick in her hand, and said in his deep voice, "Trying to help others when you can't even help yourself. Take a piece of advice next time ignore this kind of voice it will only bring trouble for you. Now go home it's not safe for you to roam around at this time," Veidehi becomes stiff for a moment because of the sudden new touch. But soon come back to reality after hearing his voice. She immediately moves away from him, holding her stick tightly. He just stares at her blankly she turns around and walks at a fast pace. But that man was waiting till her figure disappeared. After her figure disappeared from his sight, he turn around to his guard and said in a cold tone "Finish it up". He said and left with his right hand Daniel, leaving all others shocked "did he just let her go?" one man said, "and even advised her!" another man said, "is it a dream!" the third man said, "she is a lucky one" fourth man and shoot the person who was lying unconsciously after receiving hard punches from their boss "Let's clean the mess and leave" he said and nodded and start the work. Veidehi's POV : I enter my apartment breathing heavily and close the door behind me. "That was close. I can't get whether it was being nice or rude. Seems like I pissed him by disturbing him at his work" I shrug the thoughts off and went to feed my lovely Pihu who is awake by now, I made him sleep before going to the shop. I fell so many times while coming back home, it's really hard for me to walk outside without him, my body hurts, probably I got some bruise. I made my Pihu sleep again since he is a little sick, he should rest. I should sleep now as well, I am a bit tired also "good night Pihu" I said to Pihu and left towards my room to sleep. Meanwhile, that man's POV : I came back to my mention with my guards and head towards my room. I saw Somsak in the living room but I decided to ignore him and go to my room as I am not in the mood to talk with anyone. Somsak's POV : I came to the kitchen to drink water. I was going back to my room holding a bottle of water in my hand when I saw Somchai, who is going to his bedroom. He is early tonight. What happened? Is everything ok! Wait. Did he just ignore me and is going to his room! Wah! He is becoming really mannerless day by day. Then I saw Daniel, who was following Somchai's steps. I immediately called him but I can tell he was cursing himself for coming into my sight. Everyone is mannerless here. Why he always runs away from me! I don't bite though. He came to me and said "yes, Hyung?" with a forced smile which I don't like a bit. "Why are you guys early today? Did he run away again?" I asked with a confused tone. "No, we caught him and took him to the basement. Boss has beaten him and we were about to take him to the basement again, but... Ummm... but...." "but what?" I am hella curious now. "Easy Hyung, actually..." he was taken back from my sudden outburst. Meanwhile Somchai's POV : Standing in the shower, the cold water was streaming down my body. But I was in my deep thoughts 'why didn't I kill her?' I don't know. I couldn't bring an answer to myself. Maybe because she was blind and helpless. Yes, that is the reason. Because of her, I didn't even torture that betrayer. I wasn't in the mood anymore, he was lucky. I sigh and wear my clothes and left the bathroom. I look around my room but suddenly some flashback comes back in front of my eyes. *flashback started* "When my baby will grow up I'll arange his room full of white because he is mamma's angel," a young woman told to her son who is just five years old. "But my room is all black" little boy was pouting looking at his mother and again continued "And how would I sleep it will be so bright," little Somchai asks innocently "Don't worry I will sing a lovely song for you until you fall asleep" she said. "Thank you, mamma, you know what you are the best mamma" little Somchai said happily. *flashback ended* I sit down on the bed and hung my head low trying to control my tears, but I heard the faint voice of my mother from a safe distance as if she is talking to me. "Don't be sad my baby. You know I can't see you sad" Now I couldn't control myself anymore and burst out into tears. My breaths become heavy, I immediately take pills from the nightstand and swallow them. After a while, my breaths become even, then I lay down on the bed and curled myself like a ball, and go into a deep slumber with some tears still in my eyes. Somsak's POV: "What?!" I was really shocked. "Did he spare her? really!" I again ask in a shocking tone. "Yes, Hyung. We were shocked as well" Daniel said in a desperate tone. "Ok ok, he let her go. Fine. I'll try to digest this one but help her! Nah..... Impossible" I said being sure. "Why don't you believe me Hyung? He didn't only help her, he even advised her not to roam around late at night. Cause it's not safe for her and boss even held her hand." Daniel said. Now that's it I couldn't control myself anymore and spit all the water which was in my mouth on his face. "Hyung" he whines. "Sorry," I said scratching my nape. "Karma will hit you Hyung, I swear," he said angrily. "Don't you dare to sware at me I am older than you and you should be thank full to me now, at least you won't stink now" I smirk. "For God's sake Hyung how many times do I have to tell you that I take a shower every day and of course, I'll stink now because I came from a mission," he said angrily. "Stop it and tell me the truth," I said being impatient "It's the truth if you don't believe me then ask him." he said being annoyed. "Ok, I'll talk to him later about this" I sigh. "Ok, Hyung I am going now I am tired" he turns around to leave. "Wait don't you think you are forgetting something" I raised my eyebrow. He turned and looked at me being confused. "Ahh, you forgot to do it" I sigh. Again he forgot to tell me something which is very important. But no worries I'll remind him "sleepy face is gorgeous right?" I asked him proudly. "Oh! yes, Hyung you are looking gorgeous," he said with a forced smile. Daniel's POV: 'Why everyone runs away from him! seriously it's midnight and he is talking about his so-called gorgeous face!' I thought "Of course, I know no one can deny my beauty," he said proudly. "Of course Hyung you are beautiful," I said and he look at me. "And don't forget to compliment me next time," he said and I looked at him like a speechless person. 'Forgot! Me! Wait he is the one who... ahh... forget it.' I thought. "Ok Hyung. Good night" he nodded and left. I sigh thinking about today's incident and left to my room.
