Finding the Blood Princess

The week I moved to Capri Italy, was just an amazing feeling I got away from the states and I am officially a citizen in my parents home country. I am 18 years old, and I officially moved on my own far away from drama, exes and life that dragged me down. I am starting my new life in a new country, new experiences, possibly new lovers, new friends, and new life skills. If you ask me where are my parents, they stayed in the states they are not to worried about me living alone in Italy to much, due to I have family to check up on me, my aunt and uncle, Saiyan and Vinny. Do I speak Italian not fluently, yet. Today I will meet my new boss, I am an assistant at Pauldula company. I always dreamed of working here, and I am now finally here they have health benefits, paid days off, accommendation, and I will get paid well what more can I ask for?"ring a ling" I heard my phone buzzing I turned around and picked it up as I was opening the 2nd box to unpack. I looked at my phone to see it was my boss, I swiped to the right and answered "hello!?" he called me to let me know it was okay to come over now. I decide to finish packing later and head to my work for a tour. I grabbed my keys and my purse and slipped on my shoes, as I drove up to the building it was beautiful the structure was just like I thought it would be, there was a lot of scenery and a beautiful fountain with a woman statue in the middle and it sprouted water at the top of her hand not to mention there was beautiful trees that had flowers bloom from each inch of the tree. It was breathtaking! It was filling my eyes with such beauty, it was very fulfilling. I get out of my car and started walking to the entrance, and there at the entrance were sets of men and woman on each side of the entrance and I was greeted with a "hello, welcome to Pauldula." I greeted them back, with the "thank you very much, I am pleased to be here!" I walked in to notice the inside was even more beautiful then the outside, everything was ancient interior mixed with modern. I saw things that had very old antique and flowers filled the place it was just as breathtaking. I walked even farther in the building and was stopped and greeted with my boss,"ciao Carter, we meet again how was your flight here, and the move is going well yes?" I excitedly replied" yes my flight was decent, I have a bit of a jet lag and my move was well, I haven't finished unpacking, but it was well thank you!" well I am glad it was well, and that the move was well miss Carter, would you like the tour now? I was so excited, well to excited that I ended up shouting "yes!" He looked at me and smiled, "well let's get to it shall we miss Carter, follow me." I followed him to each and every room as I listened to each detail of what he was saying, he showed me the meeting room, and my desk where I'll be working at and then we ended at the room where it said CEO at the top of the door. " miss Carter," he looked at me.' "please wait here, this room is my boss, and he needs to talk to me first you may go look around there is a cafe across the hall there and turn left on that right." I looked at him with a big grin" alright Mr. Franco." I watched him open the door as he went in. I went to explore like he said, I actually was kind of thirsty so I decided to go get myself some coffee from the cafe that he mentioned. I started to walk and kind of forgot what he said did he say to the right of the left hall? due to me forgetting I went with what I thought he said and ended up turning to the right and then I turned left this place is like a maze i thought to myself. I noticed a door that I thought might be the cafe, I decided to open the door and as I opened it, I see a tall man in a very vintage suit, looked very antiquish, very neat,well dressed. The man was well mannered, he looked like a gentleman. He was very handsome his skin was flawless, white porcelain skin which seemed to be smoothed, I wondered if it is as soft as it looks. I continued to to stare at his beauty, then my eyes caught attention to his face, he had very small face it was masculine, he has double eye lids, lips were perfection, and his eyes where a color I never seen before it was if it was glowing, with a hint of gold. I also noticed that his hair was neck length dark black hair and he had a piercing in one of his ears." may I help you!?"he snorted. I looked at him in shock, "you look nervous" he said. I stand there think of what I should say "I am just lost, and I- I am not nervous" I answered. "well, maybe you shouldn't be exploring around, and being nosy, whom are you !? I have never seen you before." I looked at him, he is making my anger boil due to how rude he is talking to me so I replied, "I am new here, as well to the country, I have been here a week and have not finished unpacking I was invited to a tour and hired by Mr. Franco." I waited for him to say something rude, and I noticed that he just kept staring at me looking me up and down from head to toe. " what is your name!?" he asked. I kept my posture and I replied " my name is Carter Brookes." Then I waited for him to say something again, but he continues to keep staring at me like he was going to eat me for dinner. I got tired of him looking at me so I decided to say something to break the silence and before I could I was pinned to the wall of the room, his eyes met mine and he just continued to look at me he leaned in like he was about to kiss me, or devour me for his lunch but before he could do anything to me, I broke lose of him pinning me to the wall. " excuse me I must be leaving, Mr. Franco must be looking for me now." he looked at me one last time and " I will walk you out, I'll show you where the cafe is" he answered. I looked at him in confusion what the heck is happening I thought, why has his demeanor changed!? He was just literally was speaking very rudely to me and now it's like he is a whole new person, like he had an epiphany. I of course replied " okay, thank you very much." As we were walking out the room we ran into Mr. Franco, " miss Carter I was looking for you everywhere." he stated. he looked to the right of me and said " ciao CEO Maxwell pauldula, I was just about to introduce her to you sir, she is the ne-." he was about to tell him I was the new assistant until he was cut off by him" I know who she is , and I would like you to show her where the cafe is I am busy right now, make sure this mistake doesn't happen again" he snarled. I can't believe this he is acting like a douchebag again, does he have man periods!? what is with this guy, I don't care if he is the CEO or the owner of this building, he doesn't have to be so damn rude!" yes sir!" I hear Mr. Franco say, he sounds scared of him, he acted like Mr. Maxwell was more then his boss behind close doors."miss Carter, can you do a favor, let's just do what we are told here, let's focus on doing your job well here at Pauldula." he stated. I looked at him in concern"yes sir Mr. Franco, I also was wondering who's assistant am I?" he looked at me puzzledly "you have just met him, now you know whom he is now you just need to do your job right, I'll show you the cafe, and then you can come in, in 2 weeks to start working so you can get familiar with our custom and country.". After he showed me the cafe I headed back down to my car and back home. I tossed my keys down on the table and slipped my shoes off and went into my kitchen to make me a grilled cheese I was to tired and lazy to make an actual dinner for the first week being here, I sat on my couch turned my television on and started watching vampire diaries. I soon was finished eating my sandwich and I looked at the time it was 6:30 I then decided was time to take a nice warm shower, as I was in the shower I started thinking about the unexplained incident with that CEO, Maxwell that man was really crazy, whom in their right mind pushes or pins anyone to the damn wall. I hopped out the shower got dressed in my red spaghetti strap tank top, and my black laced underwear, I began to be more relaxed after that warm shower then I decided to go to bed. I went to lay in my bed thankful that I had these things already unpacked, I laid my head on my pillow and covered myself I found myself slowly dozing off. Finally I see the sun rising up over my balcony, and wondering what my plans for today. I decided to go downstairs to make me a cup of coffee, and make me some scrambled eggs then afterwards I'll finish unpacking the rest of my stuff since I have 2 weeks until I have to work. I made my coffee, added one scoop of sugar into it and some milk, then I started to make my breakfast, I made my scrambled eggs and sat down and chowed down."burp!" Now that I am finished, I went to unpack my clothes and the rest of the dishes, and pots and pans, and other things I had. I look at the time on my phone showing it is 4:30pm and I am finally finished unpacking, spent my whole day unpacking and now that I am done I have nothing to really do. I do remember one time my friend back home mention a famous club here, I figured I might just go clubbing since it's a new place, new environment, different country might as well take pictures and send them to my bestie while I am there as well. I went up stairs to my room I went through my closet and thought to myself what should I wear? classy and elegant? sexy and w***e ish? or maybe sexy and elegant? I decided on a sexy but elegant look not to w***e ish, I put on a red laced dress where on the top showed my cleavage. It was tight fitting it literally showed all my curves, then I put on my stilettos of course they were black and dazzling with diamonds, it was the pair my friend bought me before I left home. I took my phone and snapped a picture of me in my gown, and sent it to my friend "guess what, I am going out clubbing, in my new diamond stilettos wish you was here to go with!" I sent her the message knowing what she was going to say. "omg!! damn girl you look fire, so let me guess your going to the club I mention, don't forget to take pictures cause I wanna see and also have fun and meet a new guy maybe get laid haha I am at work can't talk though love ya friend Becky!" I knew she would say something like this my friend is more crazy then I am and not really afraid of anything. I go downstairs grabbed my keys and my purse, then headed out to this club called Rosetta LaGuardia, I finally found my way and found a spot to park I got out of my car walk up to the doors with to security men on both sides, who look like they couldn't defend no body, they were small and petite like they would get snapped in half. I walk up to them and they stare at me, then they let me in. I walk through the doors, and saw it was so beautiful inside and I heard the music in the background, and I saw everyone dancing and first pumping the air, the music was so loud that I wanted to drown out the music with liquor, so I asked the bartender one shot glass of jack Daniels, I shot the drink down as it burned my throat, this hits the spot. I turn to watch the people dancing and I just sat there at the bar watching just jamming to the music. I then noticed that the CEO from Pauldula company was here, "great, just my luck." why is he here don't tell me he owns this place to, I saw him sit down with some girls and some men around a booth like table. I got lost in his handsomeness, his jaw line, his golden eyes, his white porcelain skin, dark hair he was wearing a nice suit like the other one I saw him wear except this one was black and had a an open top , I also notice he has a necklace hanging from his neck. I continued to stare at his beauty until my eyes locked with his, realizing he noticed me " damn it he knows I am here." I then decided to to walk away and then I bumped into someone" sorry, I didn't see you there," I look up and it's Maxwell. " ciao miss Carter Brookes, I never thought seeing you here at such a place" he said. it wasn't my intention to meet him here, honestly I didn't want it to be a coincidence. " well I used to go clubbing every now and then with my best friend back home, but I am just leaving just pretend I am not here." I replied. I took one last shot of jack Daniels, and grabbed my purse off the counter of the bar and I turn around to walk away, but before I could make one step towards the doors, he grabbed my hand and the next thing I know I'm in a room with just me and him." miss Carter, why don't you just stay awhile I don't bite much." he said smirkingly. I heard this thumping sound like it was echoing in my ears, what is this why is my heart beating fast." Mr. Maxwell, I am sorry to disappoint you but I must be heading home I am quite tired and my boyfriend might be waiting at home for me." I lied. he looked at me and just started to grin, and then he pins me to the wall, continued to look at me, like my body was frozen I didn't want to move but knew I should." what are you afraid of Miss Brookes, we can dance a little drink a little, talk." I looked at him with little bit of frustration, first off what's with him pinning me to walls. what does this man want I am not here to please his needs" but you can," he says I look up in shock" w-w-what!?" he looked down at me and then caresses my cheek, then I started thinking this man is a creep I need to find an excuse to get home he is now starting to give me pervert vibes" haha, is that what you think eventually we will get close to each other and you'll see what kind of person I am." that's it this man is a creep, I didn't think he could read minds maybe it's just coincidence. " Mr. Maxwell I am unaware what you mean, or your intentions, but I do have to go my boyfriend is waiting." He smiled real big, "alright if you say so, miss Carter." he replied. He finally releases me from his grasp, and I walked out the door, " what a freak I mumbled." I walked out the doors got to my car and left I looked at the time it was 7:30, i also forgot to take pictures of the club and the inside of it for my friend, now she's going to kill me for forgetting. "ugh!" I finally arrived at my house, I went in through off my dress, and my stilettos I sat down on my couch rubbing my feet, knowing it's because of my new shoes. I went upstairs after I relaxed my feet a little, and took a hot shower to help me sleep tonight. I decided to sleep naked in my bed tonight I was to sore and tired to get dressed . I finally laid in my bed, thinking about my weird perverted boss I have to work with, and on top of that I have to be his assistant, I just hope he doesn't continue to pin me to the damn walls, I am not some rag doll. I slowly started to doze off to dreamland.
