I walked on shaky legs to the living room, and the smell of vomit and alcohol made my stomach churn. “What the hell happened?” I asked myself. My throat hurt, I couldn't remember what happened last night. As I saw a half empty bottle of wine on the table, I wondered just how many bottles I drank. An empty bottle lay on the bathroom floor when I woke up. I looked at the bottle and grabbed it. My life was already ruined. Having another drink wouldn't hurt. I took a swig from the bottle and relished the sour taste. It all seemed like my life crumbled all over again. No lawyer in the city would go to court against Jaden. He'd definitely win the case if it gets to it. As I took swigs and swigs of the wine, my head got lighter and lighter. I was drifting off again when I heard a knock.
