Chapter 53 The flowers arrived the next morning. Two identical arrangements, both white roses and lilies, both with cards that read simply: For a speedy recovery. One from Alexei. One from Mikhail. Adrian stared at them, his expression unreadable. "That's strange," Viktor said, examining the arrangements. "They're exactly the same. Same flowers, same vase, same card." "They coordinated," Nadia observed. "Brothers presenting a united front. But why?" "To show they're in sync," she suggested, though her stomach was churning. "That the alliance is solid."
