I wake in the morning to an empty bed and a note from Jason telling me he left for his morning training session and then on to work for the day, with a promise that if I want him to come back and carry me out of the house, all I need to do is text him. If not, he invites me to make myself at home for as long as I like. Thinking it over a moment, I realize I’m okay. I think I can get myself out of here. Though it is a little strange to be alone in his house, the idea of seeing the rest of it feels far less intimidating without him here to watch me.
