I’ve never been the sort of person who is comfortable with not having something productive to do with my time, so by the beginning of my second week of staying with Aly, I find myself growing restless with mostly hanging around her apartment all day. Despite my discomfort around strangers, it feels like time to start getting out more and finding ways to stay busy. Knowing that I do better not only when I can feel productive but when I have specific tasks and directions to guide me, Aly’s solution to my problem is to turn me into her personal errand girl.
