Considering that the doctor said that the bite to her leg shouldn’t turn Ronnie, it sure does seem to be trying. I spent the worst night of my life watching her thrash, flail, shiver, and cry trying to fight off the venom. I’ve never seen a fever before, and I had no idea how agonizing and dangerous they could be.
