Chapter Twenty-Five It had been days since her father had spoken to her, and it wasn’t lost on her how upset he was. What made it worse was that he didn’t know the real Cameron Donnelly. She doubted all the people who’d become his judge and jury in the press and those in the public did, either. He was a complex man who kept to himself, keeping his private life just that: private. Added to that, she didn’t understand how a man could care so little of what people thought of him. Working on that would be her next goal, considering that tonight she planned to cook him dinner at his place.
