“So she’s safe?” I ask Dimitri as we make our way to the throne room
“Yes and she’s perfect brother. She’s beautiful, kind and caring. Levi had his hands full with her” he says chuckling and I smile
“How so?” I ask my curiosity getting the better of me
“She insisted on staying and helping the healers. He said she literally passed out from exhaustion at the end and he took her home” he says and my heart swells with pride
“Always so selfless” I whisper and he nods
“Okay, through here. Are you ready?” he asks and I nod pulling the hood over my head to hide my face
“Let’s go” I say and we enter the throne room. Adrik is barking orders and screaming like an irrational person
“He knows he’s losing the war” Dimitri smirks and I nod taking our place stealthily between his men. T
