Interruptions

The home was spacious but still felt homely, Onne felt someone on his heels so he stopped and Brandon ran right into his backside “Do you want me to stay near the door? Will that make you feel more comfortable? Your sister was just as apprehensive as you are when she first met me” he smiled slightly “ I uh.. sorry. No you’re fine to walk around. Only on the first floor, I will tackle you to the ground if you try to go into Adela’s room” he did the eye points at Onne. “Okay, I found my purse! I’m ready to go” he didn’t even notice what she was wearing. Much sweeter than the fitted dress she had on yesterday. “Uh, if this is casual then I want to see what you consider dressed up” Onne whispered in her ear. “Hey, you wont be cold? You’re barely wearing anything” Onne just shook his head “Ive always loved the cold” that didn’t sit well with Brandon, he couldn’t shake the strange feeling he had. Watching them as they left, Onne had opened the door and helped Adela in and then got into the drivers seat. Brandon didn’t want to but he was going to reach out to Elliot later. For now he kept checking his sisters location.    “I don’t think I made a good first impression on Brandon” Onne chuckled “We just got out of a really bad situation so he’s on high alert… well we both are. But I cannot learn if I don’t leap. You wont harm me and if you tried I wouldn’t allow you to succeed either” Adela flashed him a smile. Onne began to wonder how on earth he got to this point. Not only did he change his mind of feeding on Adela, he was now thinking of ways to keep her by his side. He wondered what her opinion would be if she found out he was a Feeder. “Have you decided what you want me to make you? The restaurant has a menu if you want to decide there” Adela pondered his question a little “well… we could look through a cookbook and make something together. That seems fun to me” Onne could barely contain his excitement. Most women can smell he death that comes from a Feeder but here she was, willing to be close to him and engaging with him. If this date goes well, what could the future look like? “That sounds better than just cooking for you, then I can talk to you more” he felt happy.      Back at home Brandon had ultimately decided to call Elliot, he hadn’t talked to him in four years and Adela would be pissed but he and Clarence wouldn’t be able to save Adela if his intuition was right about Onne. He felt Onne was something with a dark and heavy Aura. Tapping his phone on his forehead he tried to calm his nerves. He wouldn’t know how to explain that the woman he loved was on a date with another man and that man could be potentially dangerous. He decided to bite the bullet and before he knew it, he was dialing Elliot’s number. “H.. Hello? Elliot? Oh please let you still have the same phone number, because if this isn’t your number than I don’t have anyone else to reach out to and then I will have to deal with a problem by myself and…” he was rambling “Brandon, its me. What’s wrong? Did something happen to you or Dela? Where are you guys at?” Brandon sighed heavy. “We’re in New Orleans. Everything should be okay and I am okay but I just have this off feeling with Dela that I can’t shake. You can’t get mad though okay? Look at this with a level head” at this point Elliot sat up from the hotel’s bed and was completely alert. Not only were they in the same state, they were very close. Fate is a force to be reckoned with. “I cannot promise not to be mad but for Dela I will do anything. What’s going on?” Hugo was now trying to listen to the call as well. “I uh.. uh haha. Well it started from yesterday, she met this flashy man and then he asked her on a date. Which she’s on that date right now. Wait the date isn’t the issue it’s that the man gave me this off vibe. Like a vibe of death and he has this really old name. What is it? Oh his name is Onne” Brandon was rambling but Hugo caught the last part which was concerning. Could this man be a Feeder? He felt sorry for Elliot because he had to learn Adela was starting to look for someone else. Elliot had many thoughts but the concern for her safety and jealousy were the main ones. “Okay, Brandon. I will come to you. Jessie is in louisiana, he will be there first. I will explain somethings when I get there” Hugo felt anxiety because he would be in front of his child but not as Ash, he so wanted to be the Ash his children knew him as but he still needed to hide his identity for the time being. There was still excitement seeing his child grown up. “Jessie, Brandon called Elliot and there’s no alarm for Adela but he is a little worried” jessie was actually outside the restaurant Adela and Onne were in. “Well honestly I don’t think there are things to be concerned for, but I do think he’s a Feeder. I’ve checked the area and got intel on him. He owns most of the shop properties here. What’s weird is that he looks identical to the Feeder we were in battle with but only younger” Jessie began to think Onne was a purebred Feeder. But was he harmless? “I don’t know what his intentions were but he was watching her walk around for some time and then they met for coffee, I then followed them to an office building. I’m not sure what happened but she came out with some papers and then went home” Elliot’s jealousy was increasing, he didn’t like the thought of a man being near Adela. He felt even more regret now. Elliot took the phone from Hugo’s hands “Where are you, I’ll get her” he was growling at this point. Jessie knew if he didn’t tell Elliot, things would be worse. “Okay, I’ll send you the address. Hugo, I’ll come to you and then we can go to where Brandon is” Elliot was murderous, although Hugo kind of felt like laughing because he’s pretty sure even if Adela wasn’t in any danger, he’d still act like this.      Onne couldn’t shake the feeling he was being watched, he knew Brandon was suspicious of him but he if he found someone to monitor their date Onne was going to try to be on his best behavior. To him, Adela was the perfect catch. He still felt he needed to tell her he was a Feeder, but he didn’t know how and it gave him anxiety thinking of what her reaction would be. “Who knew you were such a great cook!” Adela squealed. They made pasta with white sauce and homemade garlic bread. Before he knew it three hours had passed. Onne decided it was the perfect time to tell her the whole truth and whatever happened he would accept. “Adela there is something I would like to say. More like a confession if you will..” just before he could finish his sentence, there was loud knocking on the restaurants front door “Dela! Are you in there? Tell that guy to open this door right now or I’m going to break it down” Adela looked mortified “Elliot?” She was mumbling to herself, Onne was amused “Boyfriend huh. Of course this was too good to b true” he chuckled “No, he’s not my boyfriend and he left me four years ago. Brandon must’ve called him” she got up from the table and opened the door “What the hell are you doing here? Did Brandon call you” Elliot looked like a madman. He grabbed her and started checking her body for marks “Elliot let me go! What’re you doing?” Onne walked up to them and leaned against the table “Elliot, hello. I am Onne. Adela and I were on a date and you’ve interrupted us. I want to know why” Elliot could smell the stench of death from Onne. Onne could smell Elliot was a purebred wolf. Both men staring each other down and a mortified Adela stood between them.
