I've Always Been Yours

Chapter 4

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Groaning I realize there is an alarm going off. It took me a few minutes to gain my bearings before I realized it was actually Hayden's alarm. Realizing I fell asleep cuddled into him I looked up and smiled. Seeing him grinning down at me as he says "good morning beautiful, how'd you sleep?" Waking up near Hayden isn't exactly a new thing growing up close it isn't weird for one of us to crash at the other's house.

"Sleeping next to you will never get old Hay! Of course I slept well you're always so warm and I love snuggling with you. The only difference now is now I get to say I woke up cuddling with my boyfriend! What time is it anyways" I sleepily replied.

Pulling my closer to him before kissing the top of my head he lets me know it's about 6:30 am and we should start getting ready for school. Hayden lets me know he's heading down the hallway to the guest room that has some spare clothes for him to get a shower but he'd meet me once he was done.

Jumping into the shower myself I can't help but to smile. I can't believe I finally have Hayden, I finally have everything I've ever wanted. Knowing we're both going away to college soon no matter how close they are scares me yet I think we'll be okay.

Once I get out of the shower I head into my walk in closet attached to the bathroom and slip into a pair of shorts, a pale yellow halter top, and strappy sandals. I see Hayden enter the bedroom while I check him out I tell him you look handsome boo. He's dressed in a pair of dark denim jeans, a dark grey Henley shirt with his sneakers. It's his casual dressy look but he looks damn fine to me. Walking towards my vanity he steps in front of me, pulls me up and kisses me like he'd never get enough.

Panting for breath I tell him I need to curl my hair and do my makeup yet so he tells me he'll go down and get breakfast ready for us and some hot chocolate (I'm not a coffee fan) while I finish up. So I sit down and curl up my hair and do my make-up a natural way as always. Once I feel like myself I head down to the kitchen to find Hay.

As I head downstairs I hear Hayden's voice and realize he must me on a phone call. Seeing me he glances at me giving me a once over before smiling and winking. I blush a bit and sit down. Waiting for him to be off the phone I shoot mom a text and let her know I'll be heading off to school in about 20 minutes once I finish my breakfast and remind her that I have cheer practice till 6 once she responds with have a good day and see you later I sit down to wait for Hayden. Noticing me waiting to eat he chuckles before saying "okay mom I understand, I'm sure she will and I'll ask her but she's waiting patiently to eat her breakfast for me to finish this call before we go to school so I'll text you when I know and I'll see you after practice tonight! okay love you too bye!"

"My mom said to tell you hello and she loves you lol but she wants you to join us for dinner at The Rose Garden tonight or tomorrow if you're available." But before I could reply he said "I understand if you don't wanna it's all so new and everything and i don't wanna freak out or freak you out. maybe I'll just cancel all together" shooting off rapid fire without giving me a chance to say anything.

Standing up, I walk over to him, sit on his lap and cuddle into him. "Listen Hay, I love you, love your parents and id be honored to have dinner with them if you want me to come. If you wanna wait that's fine too but I mean it's not like dinner dates for us are a new thing babe. I'm not panicking about your parents or mine the only thing I'm worried about if we're being completely honest is college in a few months we'll be close but so far away!"

Sighing, he pulls me tighter, kisses me softly and lets me know: "You'll always be my girl Ky. Let's take it one day at a time beautiful but Ill always be here for you no matter what. I'll let mom know we'll meet her tonight around 7 if that's okay I know you have practice till 6 tonight too right?"

"Stalker much?" giggling I move back to my seat before we finish up our breakfast. Hayden grabs our after school practice bags and my hand as he leads me to the car and we head off towards the school.

Pulling up into the parking lot, Hayden spots the others, pulls into our usual spot next to Mac and Aria before putting it into park. Learning over he kisses me and we get out of the car. Walking around to the back, Hayden grabs our bags, grabs my hand and we walk towards our friends.

Chatting with our friends as we walk into the school I notice that all eyes are on us. Hearing murmurs and whispers about us being together, who will hurt who first, if I'm knocked up and that's why he's with me and others about us being a power couple, the it couple and how amazing me are together. Hayden squeezes my hand reassuring me that we got this.

Heading out of homeroom with Aria and Leah as we're walking down the hallway I glance up to see Sierra flirting with Hayden. Sierra has been obsessed with Hayden for as long as I can remember. Hearing Aria and Leah giggling beside me I shoot them a wink, seeing Hayden notice me out of the corner of his eye I grin before I take off running. Catching the gust he steps out and grabs me. Hiking me up that I wrap my legs around his waist before I kiss him like no one else matters or is watching us.

Hearing someone clear their throats, we break apart, I send him a wink before I look behind me and say "oh sorry Sierra didn't see you there I was just so excited to see my boyfriend and ask him about our prom tickets."

Scoffing before she looks at Hayden and says "I thought the rumors were fake, are you really dating her now because you can do so much better than that!" before she walks away.

Looking at Hayden I bust into laughter as the others join us. Aria is the one that says what everyone else is thinking: "girl she's been after Hayden for as long as we can remember and had always been jealous of your relationship with him now that it's official she'll really hate you!"

Laughing we go about the rest of our day. Once the final bell rings we all meet by the lockers before heading to practices. Hayden and Mac are discussing when they're suppose to sign their letters of intent and that they told them that they'd play together but only if they room together.

Everyone was having a good time. No one realized that soon all their lives would change FOREVER!
