Mum adds, I smile now that I had caught my breath I zero my eye in on the 2 I allowed past my border, they were both girls not much older than me, they come running in fighting stances, together they try to take me down, swinging for me in every direction, I block most of them, but they get a few good shots in as I bid my time, they were both a lot taller than me so I needed to use my speed against their strength.
As her hand comes to connect with my face I move to the side, grabbing her fist and twisting it until it snaps and I yank her to the ground, the other takes the opportunity to hit me in the chest, sending me flying as all the oxygen leaves my lungs.
I hear Branson growl ferociously behind me but I couldn’t worry about him to
“Get him under control dad”
I snap through the link, and I hear dad talk Branson out of joining me as the girl who kicked me, tries to tackle me, I roll grabbing her head between my legs and tightening them, she bites down on my thigh, and I squeak in pain and I snap her head and drop her, I push her off my body as the other tries to limp away, I use the wind to snap her spine in half, she screams before dropping dead.
“8 to go, babe! You are doing great”
Mum calls from the sidelines
“Damn I’m pooped”
I tell karma
“Yeah let’s hope that b***h didn’t give us some yucky disease”
She answers sticking her Tongue out in disgust, I chuckle
“Oh please she didn’t even break the skin”
I drop the barrier letting all of them into the circle of death, leaving Jenny locked in her cage of vines. I would kill her last and I would enjoy it.
2 of the 7 run straight to her side, a man and a woman, the woman was around my age, finding it odd I trap them with her as the other 5 take the moment of distraction to attack me, I chuckle as they walk straight over the hole in the ground, not even realising it’s there so I pull on the lava from below.
I lift my hand and wave at the woman as 2 others grab me, tossing me to the floor as lava bursts out of the ground engulfing the girl in the warm liquid, she screams as the skin and flesh from her legs fall off in chunks as she pulls herself from the puddle of lava.
I stop it from shooting out, using it to fill the hole and I push the remainder of it back to where it came from as a b***h sucker punches me right in the face, I blow on her face to distract her, grabbing her around the waist with me legs, the 2 others held my arms down as I squeeze my legs together tightly and I push off the ground, throwing her behind me and twisting my body back, flipping my arms so I land on top of her chest, the 2 holding my arms were momentarily stunned as I yank my arms together so they head butt each other hard, I hear the skull of one shatter as the other falls forward screaming.
I’m suddenly kicked in the back by the asshole who stood back and watched their comrade die, I fall forward as the b***h below me bites down on my chest as she tries to get out of my hold
“What’s up with these bastards and their teeth”
Karma snaps, I take the moment to snap her neck and be done with her as the person behind me, kicks me again, I wait until I feel his movement again and I roll grabbing the bastard's leg and I shove it back with all the power and strength that I have in me, shattering his pelvis and hip, his bone smashes through his skin and out the back of his body. His scream was so potent it nearly knocked me off balance.
I get up and snap his neck to put him out of his misery then I turn to look for lava girl and I use the vines on the ground to suffocate her.
I was gasping for breath as I shake out my hands and I take a peek at my family, Branson is white,
Dad and Aaron were holding him back as he watches me, he looked terrified. I smile at him
“I’m good, don’t worry”
He nods speechless or maybe dad took his ability to talk
“Nah he didn’t, he’s just about to s**t himself in fear, He thought the last ones were going to kill us”
Karma laughs as I turn around and zero my eyes in on Jessica and her friends. She glares at me
“Kill me but not my daughter, it’s my fault she requested to take part”
“You can kill me too, just please let her go”
The man adds I look at the girl who had nothing but hates on her face. I c**k my head to the side studying her
“That b***h is older than us and she will put a knife through our back the first chance she gets”
Karma snaps
“See I would normally agree to such a request but I see your daughter's face, that’s not what she wants is it?”
She spits at me
“f**k you coming in here and taking over!”
I roll my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest
“Well yeah, it comes in the job description dope”
“And killing all these people? That comes with the job”
I laugh loudly
“Coming from the one who joined a team of 36! 36 f*****g people against 1! What were you going to do to me?”
“Send you to hell where you and your kind belong”
I laugh again
“Oh you are as stupid as you look and act, see I thought I would feel bad killing a family but after realising just how f****d in the head you are I will enjoy it”
I snap the vines from her feet and yank her towards me, then I grow the vines back so she’s stuck, unable to move.
“Now let’s make it interesting shall we”
I say loud enough for everyone to hear me, I snap the vines of her parents and they come running to her side, I whirl the wind around us, pushing both parents right into their daughters' space.
When they are all standing on top of each other I let the wind go, grabbing them all one after the other I give their bodies instructions and I step back.
“Nooooo”
The girl cries as her hand moves on its own going to her frozen father's eye, she screams as she rips it from his socket and she slams it into her mother’s mouth who is now crying her heart out as she’s forced to chew it up and swallow it, the pop is so loud it makes me heave on the inside, and many of the warriors watching look away. I couldn’t appear weak in front of them all so I held my composure even though my heart sank.
As much as I’m willing to do this to make a point so I never need to do it again, it still made me sick to my stomach.
“You all see me, you think I’m small, weak, no good. I think I just proved that that isn’t the case”
I say to the crowd, then I nod to the girl
“Now”
She cries again and this time she takes her mother's eye and she feeds it to her father. I take a breath for the next bit because I know it’s going to hurt.
“In my life, I have killed many people for many reasons, but what’s hilarious is that that’s not who I am. It’s what I have to do sometimes but if I don’t have to I won’t, but I won’t ever, and I mean NEVER let anyone tell me that I am not meant to be here, that fate did not put me in this position, I was born to rule as queen, I was born to be your Luna, I was born to be the bridge between us all, linking us all together forever. It’s something I've known since I was a tiny child and it’s what I've prepared for my entire life so that means I’m ready to take you all on, all day every day if it means I can do my job properly.”
I look at her parents and nod
“Do it”
They were crying hysterically now, I closed my eyes as they rip their own daughters' eyeballs out and they eat them.
“Nothing will stop me doing what I was born to do but you lot can either FIGHT me, or you can fight WITH ME!”
I look at Jessica and I feel sorry for her
“You sick demented bastard”
She spits at me
“And there goes my sympathy, let’s make her kill them both”
Karma says shaking my head as I walk to her, grabbing her shoulder
“Say goodbye mummy, it’s the last chance you’ll ever get”
I whisper in her ear. She screams, thrashing around as the hidden instruction is revealed to her, she fights it hysterically but then she gives in, slamming her fist through her mate's heart first, she screams as their link breaks and her daughter who was now completely blind hears his heart stop.
“Noooo pleaseeee noooooo”
Jess cries and screams as she fights the command to kill her daughter but after only a few seconds she gives in, realising that she was probably better off dead. She drops her heart after pushing it through her chest, my eyes were now watering as she screams and cries in pain.
“I didn’t ask for this! You all wanted this, you all forced me to fight. This isn’t on me it’s on you all”
I tell the crowd around me as I slam my hand through her chest, pulling her heart out and putting her out of her misery. I pull my hand from her body and I drop her heart, turning to look for my family who were all watching me from the sidelines.
As I meet Branson’s face my chin wobbles, all that I had just done hit me and broke my heart. His face falls as he approaches me
“You're all dismissed! If any of you dare challenge her again I’ll kill you myself! You’ve had your fun now f**k off before I do ten times worse than what she just had to do!”
