I nudge Branson who’s glaring at the woman I answered
He goes to talk when 7 hands shoot up in the air stopping him, dad stiffens beside me and Branson glares at Jessica in particular.
“What!”
“I challenge the Luna”

And one after the other people put their hands up to challenge me. Branson looks at me, clearly freaked out. We hadn’t anticipated this but we should have. I step forward
“Fine, I’ll fight you all. Step forward, all of you, the rest can move back”
“What are the rules?”
Fay asks, stepping out between us, she looked concerned but for once I felt confident as everyone moves back and people from all around start their journey up to the front. Branson steps in front of me, standing between me and the many many people who have decided to challenge me.
“You don’t need to do this, I never expected them to do this”
“Well they have, it’s fine, I’ll be fine”
Dad steps forward
“Considering there are so many of them I think she should be allowed to use her powers or at least some of them”
Fay nods in agreement, giving me a sympathetic smile, mum squeezes my hand
“No hellfire or banshee tricks but let her use the rest of them?”
Mum tells Fay and Branson
“Agreed”
They both say at the same time, dad turns to me, taking my face in his hand.
“This is going to exhaust you but you can and will do it”
I nod as he kisses my forehead. The crowd forms an enormous circle around us having those that challenge me standing in the centre
“There are 32 of them”
Finn grits his teeth glaring at Branson
“I didn’t know they would do this”
“You should have known though! We could have prepared her better”
He spits at Branson, I shake my head
“Don’t fight, we have more to worry about right now so we need a United front”
“Yeah Finn”
Branson snaps childishly, I slap him round the back of the head, and the crowd gasps
“Don’t be a baby”
I scold him, he frowns rubbing it
“Awch what the f**k”
“I said don’t be a baby now don’t be a baby and look straight ahead”
“You are so bossy”
“Well I’m the one that has to kill all these people so I’m allowed to be right now”
“Calm, stay calm, although he did deserve the slap”
Dad smirks
“Anyway, you are trained for this, you have got it”
He kisses my head then he steps back, Branson lifts my chin, bending down and kissing me softly
“I love you, you can do this”
I smile, pulling on my powers as I step out into the middle of the crowd with Fay by my side. There was a mixture of both men and women ready to challenge me, but most of them were women.
Karma pulls on the emotions of each of them, feeling for the elements around us, we would use whatever was strongest at the moment but right now it was wind and spirit.
“Rules are you fight to the death, the Luna can and will use as much of her abilities as she wants as long as that does not include hellfire or banshee screams”
They all start stretching as Fay nods to me to check if I’m ready, I had my entire power fired up and ready to go
“Let’s kill the bastards and make sure they never dare challenge us again”
Karma snaps as I take a deep breath
“And go”
Fay calls stepping back to my parents as they all move in, I don’t hold back, running forward I pull on the wind to push most of them back and allow 3 to advance, they falter when they realise I have more powers than They expected but the first 3 advance, one dives for me, I jump from their path, sliding my leg out and dropping number 3 immediately grabbing her hair and I break her neck.
I hear dad cheer as I drop her body as number one kicks out and number 2 tries to take me on from behind, I twirl so they are both in front of me, catching number 2s Leg as she tries to kick me, I twist it breaking it and I throw it over my shoulder just as number 1 tries To punch me.
I use the wind to stop her fist from meeting my face and I turn it on herself so she hits herself, using the distraction I kick her chest sending her flying as I allow 3 more to pass through the wind surrounding us.
I see number 2 try to get up with her broken leg so I pull on the earth, growing vines and wrapping them around her and number 1’s throat as numbers 4,5 and 6 advance.
I use the wind to throw dirt and dust in their faces, distracting them slightly as I jump, breaking the neck of number 5 and I throw his body against number 6.
I see Jessica fight through the wind so I grow vines trapping her to the spot as number 6 gets off the ground and number 4 takes me from the side, as he touches me I think of him paralysed, breaking his neck as he falls.
number 6 was a real fighter, the way he moves made that obvious, he hits me once but only because I let him, I grab his shoulder pulling him forward and I jump using my legs to wrap around his arm and I slam my foot against his face twisting his arm until it breaks, we fall back as I break his neck.
I push him off myself as 6 more break through my barrier so I let them, reinforcing it so no more could pass through.
I pull on the earth below me, pulling a c***k in the soil and opening a space for the lava deep below my feet to erupt from. I can’t use hell fire but they said f**k all about lava.
I’m suddenly tackled to the ground by a huge man, a woman jumps on us both winding me, and a third grabs my head trying to twist it.
I instantly use my powers to pop his heart and he drops dead as the 4th tries to break my leg, I pull on the wind and push them all off me, slamming one of them against a tree branch, letting her die hanging suspended in the air.
The 4 others circle me so I use the wind to pull one towards me fast and hard so I can stick my hand through his chest, grasping his heart, I pull it out just in time to duck backwards and I shove the heart in the woman who was trying to sneak up on me’s mouth, grabbing her nose and knocking her onto her knees.
I glare at the other 2 as I slowly suffocate her, they watch in shock as I hold her in place until she dies, as soon as her heart stops beating the man in front of me falls screaming in pain.
I take his moment of shock and I snap the girl's neck while she was distracted before ripping a chunk from the man's throat, his blood sprays out, hitting me in the face as I throw him to the ground taking a breath.
“You ok?”
Dad links me, I nod my head slightly
“Yeah how many more”
“12 down 24 to go”
Karma cracks our necks squaring our shoulders
“f**k it let 14 out, let’s do this quick”
She tells me, I drop the barrier and I pull on the souls of 14 warriors
“Pull the water from their bodies”
She tells me, I circle my hands grabbing onto the moisture in their body as they approach me and I dissolve it. They stop gasping as the fluid in their body dries up, their skin sinks in, and their eyes droop as the blood stalls in their body, turning to sludge and blocking their arteries, slowly they start to drop having strokes and heart attacks as I pull on 2 more
“10 left”
Dad calls out loud
