Chapter 2

Nora turned around. She discovered someone standing behind her bed. Even though Nora had looked around previously, she may not have realized she was with someone else. "Who are you!?" Nora's voice raised. The woman with shoulder-length blonde hair smiled sarcastically. She moved closer to Nora. Her heels tapped loudly. Nora was afraid. She was certain something was wrong there. She merely wanted to leave the room. Nora turned back toward the door. She attempted to open it, but it was locked. "It is useless. You will be unable to leave here. My name is Eliza, and I am your boss. Now you work for me." Eliza grabbed Nora's weak body and pushed Nora back onto the bed. "You have no right to leave this place before you finish your work!" Nora sat on the edge of the bed. She didn't want to lose her body condition. "You're not my boss! I've never worked with you. Why am I here?! Let go of me. I have to go to the hospital!" Nora, of course, remembered Nancy. Nora didn't want her mother to wait there in pain. "I don't think your memory has recovered yet. Let me explain: you were taken away by two men in a narrow alley that you passed through. You ended up here as a prostitute serving rich men. You've already been paid $25,000. So, there's no chance of leaving unless you pay three times that as a fine!" Nora's memory was thrown back to the moment she was approached and crushed by the two creepy men. Now, she could put it all together. However, Nancy was still her main thought at the moment. "I don't know what brought me here or what the connection between me and that much money is! Clearly, you have committed a crime against me. This is not right! I can't accept it." "I don't want to hear your nonsense. You'd better get up. Even if you go home, James will probably send you back here with his hand. You're no longer wanted. Do a good job. In a few hours, I'll take you to meet your first customer! He will receive your best and kindest service. Don't let him down; if you do, I won't hesitate to make Nancy pay!" Nora stood up, her eyes rounded with emotion. Her chest rose and fell as anger began to overwhelm her. "James, you're telling me, so this has something to do with that? He sold me for $25,000!?" Eliza nodded slightly. "Yes, if you want to be free, then give me back three times as much. I will very willingly let you go! But if not, you can't fight back at all!" "Very consciously, I refuse this job. I will return the money from James!" Nora, who was consumed by rage, seemed to have doubled her strength. She stood up very confidently. Her anger grew as she remembered James. Nora realized that James had planned this crime for her. She was very emotional. She wanted to take it all out. Eliza, of course, couldn't accept what Nora said. When Nora was already holding the door, Eliza grabbed Nora's long hair to stop her escape attempt, but Nora brushed Eliza's hand away and pushed the woman into the basket. "You can't do this! You've made a big mistake! I'll never let you go, Nora! If you play rough, then I'll do it double! I told you, if you want to escape, then you have to pay me triple, not give me my money back in full. Because that's not how the deal works!" Eliza pointed at Nora. Eliza's tone continued to rise. "You've committed a very big crime. I can report it to the police!" Nora threatened. Eliza didn't flinch; instead, she burst out laughing. "You will never be able to destroy this business. Your report will never be accepted. You won't get justice!" Nora didn't want to listen to what Eliza said. She continued her steps to get away from Eliza, but Eliza kept blocking her until Nora found the room key that had fallen out of Eliza's pocket. Nora tried to pick it up, but Eliza stepped on Nora's hand until it hurt. Nora cried out in pain, but Eliza pressed her leg even harder. "I told you, didn't I? You won't be able to leave this place!" Eliza grinned without letting go of her stomping, even though she could see the blood starting to flow on Nora's palm. Nora didn't want to give up so easily. She looked in all directions, trying to resist Eliza's cruelty. Nora, who adjusted her breathing to calm down, could now see the object on the nightstand right in front of her. She saw a vase of flowers on it. Nora realized that Eliza was only focused on the hand that she was stepping on. With a quick movement, Nora picked up the vase using her free hand. Without waiting any longer, she threw the vase towards Eliza's face with all her remaining strength. Apparently, Nora's throw was very precise. The vase hit Eliza's forehead, which immediately bled and made Eliza in pain. Eliza held her head. "What are you doing, slut?!" snapped Eliza, who continued to scream in pain until she faltered and fell to the floor. Nora didn't want to waste any time; she immediately took the key and stuck it on the doorknob so that it could be released. Not knowing what would happen next, Nora just wanted to get away from Eliza, who was starting to overpower her again and slowly got up with her forehead bleeding. Nora ran down the long hotel hallway. She looked right and left, searching for an elevator or emergency staircase access door. The more she ran, the blurrier she felt. Her vision became more and more shadowy. Her breathing was labored as she panicked and felt pain in her hands. Eliza continued to chase behind. "Stop your pace, b***h! I'm warning you not to fight back, or you'll regret it, Nora!" Nora was terrified. She ran with a gasp of breath as she realized Eliza could still chase her as usual. Fear was evident on her face. Sweat soaked her forehead. Nora found the elevator she had to take. She rushed to press the button. However, the elevator felt slow. "You won't get away from me!" Eliza said like crazy. She grinned, blood dripping down her face. Nora didn't want to wait for the elevator. She looked right and left, then found an open room door. She wasted no time and ran to the door. Nora entered and closed it immediately after making sure Eliza hadn't seen her. Nora let out a long breath to get away, but she felt tense. Again, when she saw a tall man standing in front of her, his eyes staring at Nora sharply. "Who are you?"
